The room looked clean and linens were in good shape. The elevator, hallways and bathroom showed dirt, damage and (in some cases cheap repairs. I'm surprised that La Quinta allows this hotel to keep the brand name. The breakfast was minimal, with no attention to emptying the full trash can or restocking yogurt, etc. People loitering in the parking lot made me nervous.

Room was gross. There was no smoke alarm in the room. Patches of chipped paint on the ceiling. Room smelt of cigarettes and musk. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Floors in room and hall was stained or just nasty. Several doors were broken and kinda sketchy. A/C never really cooled the room down. Elevator was nasty and honestly nerve wracking because it creaked and didn’t sound good or safe. Do not plan on returning.

We checked in friday may 30th, pur first room the carpet was wettt and mildew by the ac, then we turn the tv on the tv was broke the tub had nasty stains on it, they put us in a different room the next day we get in that room we see a roach and the bathroom just looked dirty i will never be renting a room there again !! The water did not get hot either ! Then we asked about the pool they said the pool was temporary closed so we basically gave money away !!

Pool dirty and not available. Dirty bathroom towel still hanging on the back of bathroom door in room. Melted ice still in ice bucket in the room. Unable to connect to wifi. Outside of bathtub had dried brown stream like someone may have have gotten sick. I can't believe i had to pay for the room.

I normally book at this same hotel when I’m in town due to the numerous dining and shopping locations. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The first thing we noticed is that there was no remote for the t.v. There were no trash cans in the room. The smoke detector was pulled from the ceiling. The door to the rest room wouldn’t close. They advertise a weight room but it was non functioning. The room number was 119 which was the first room, so it most definitely should have had better conditions. The room was inexpensive and we have never had problems before.

The staff was miserable to speak to. When we brought the rooms condition to her attention and she told us "you won't find another room tonight because of the game so idk what you want me to do". The room had very visible black mold in it and the bathroom. The shower curtain rod was hanging off of the wall. The AC tubing and wiring was hanging from the ceiling. The wallpaper/wall was peeling and hanging down due to condensation near the AC unit. It smelled of mold and cigarettes. We left and are trying to get a refund because it was so awful.

This place is a dump! When pulling in the parking lot, there was trash everywhere. The lobby smelled like old Chinese food. Paint was chipping off all the walls. The carpet in the halls were stained with bleach, with patches missing. A dirty towel was laying out in the hallway. The room was disgusting. The trash hadn’t been emptied. There was dried toothpaste on the faucet about a quarter inch thick, so you know it hadn’t been cleaned in days, maybe weeks. There was no bedside table lamp. Hardware was missing off the furniture. Pieces of the carpet were gone. The toilet was only fastened on one side and the towel bar had been ripped out of the wall. The bathtub was dirty and there was no drain stopper, not that I would have let my body touch the tub. The only positive was the waffle maker at breakfast. Otherwise, you would be better off sleeping in your car on the side of I-10.

The pictures definitely have to be from when they first opened. The room was dirty and smelt of cigarette smoke. You can see the grim around the tub and toilet. This really doesn’t deserve a rating. Code inspection should definitely come through.

I booked this hotel on October 18-19 for a family trip, I have stayed in La Quinta before and never have a issue, but this specific location was very dirty, they have a room that stinks so bad I couldn’t even step inside, I went to the front desk and requested another room and they did but the sheets were dirty with hairs and dust and thrash on the floor I took some pictures and show it to the front desk guy ask for a refund but since I book from a third party they told me to contact them, and when they contact the hotels the hotel denied a refund. I don’t know how they won’t approve my refund if I show them proof of the dirty sheets and floors…. So do yourselves a favor and don’t book with them!!

Well. This was an experience. If you love the smell of black mold combined with a wet ash tray, this is the spot for you. If you’d also like a “calming” rain sound that’s actually raining in your bathroom while the people above you shower, you should totally book a room for yourself. When I told the front desk that our room smelled like a dive bar she offered us some “febreze at no charge” and she couldn’t do anything about the smell. I’ve stayed in some nasty places before, but this one takes the cake. WORST hotel I’ve probably ever stayed at. There were stains in the hallway and room and I don’t even want to know where they came from or how they got to be there. Just do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

Terrible. Dirty. Dark. Unkempt. Broken. Miserable check in staff. The photos below were the second room they put us in. I couldn’t capture the d sell of the first room in a photo. Oh the sheets were stained in that one too. The staff couldn’t be bothered to say hello or welcome. She looked pissed by our presence.

I had to switch rooms 3x. First room (207) the remote controls issued didn't work for tv. 2nd room(205) I discovered that the door didn't lock and anyone could've walked in without a key. 3rd room (229) the air condition didn't work.

Elevator looked dated, button numbers were not visible (fire hazard), hallways were dirty, there was a microwave sitting outside in the hallway the whole time we were there. Their rooms smell like mothballs, the stairways smelled like cigarettes. Bathrooms and shower appliances were outdated, AC was loud and did not work in one of the rooms we booked. Some of the lamps did not work in the rooms. I booked three rooms for one night. Breakfast had water down coffee and stale muffins. Never staying there again.

The hotel hallway was very dirty with stains on the walls and carpet. Our room smelled of smoke and mold and had stains on the carpet, curtains, and valance. The tub in the shower was cracked and the toilet was dripping in the tank and had to keep the door to the bathroom shut. TV was cracked and the bottles of shampoo and body lotion were less than half full. I normally don’t leave reviews but after paying a premium for a college football weekend, it was quite disappointing.

Entry area is okay, but the hallways are so thrashed that we were relieved to find that the room was actually pretty nice. The only thing lacking was washcloths (we were so tired, we just used ine of the hand towels).

When we arrived to our room, the musty smell hit us in the face, then our TV wasn't working, but I had to go to the front desk to report it, as the phone didn't work, either. Parts of the Bed were sticking out of the bottom, which could have caused an accident and I could have been shocked, as I reached up to see why the lamp wasn't working and realized that there was no bulb in it, but it was plugged in. Refigerator freezer was so iced over we had to dig to make room in it, the dryer was missing, and the towel bars were broken. Don't recommend.

Room was dingy and in poor condition. A/c was super noisy. Toilet ran water and bath had mold on caulking. Room looked out over the roof which was strewn with torn awning, plastic and what appeared to be broken condenser. Room was way over priced due to college football game. Had to ask receptionist both mornings to make please coffee.

I normally book at this same hotel when I’m in town due to the numerous dining and shopping locations. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The first thing we noticed is that there was no remote for the t.v. There were no trash cans in the room. The smoke detector was pulled from the ceiling. The door to the rest room wouldn’t close. They advertise a weight room but it was non functioning. The room number was 119 which was the first room, so it most definitely should have had better conditions. The room was inexpensive and we have never had problems before.

Check in at 3pm, arrived at 3pm. No one working the front desk, waited over 10 minutes before someone finally showed up. Rang the bell on the desk several times and called the hotel ms direct number to no avail. Hotel is starting to get run down. Horrible strong fake floral smell hits you when you enter the lobby. Only stayed one night, not what i expected from a LaQuina!

The staff was miserable to speak to. When we brought the rooms condition to her attention and she told us "you won't find another room tonight because of the game so idk what you want me to do". The room had very visible black mold in it and the bathroom. The shower curtain rod was hanging off of the wall. The AC tubing and wiring was hanging from the ceiling. The wallpaper/wall was peeling and hanging down due to condensation near the AC unit. It smelled of mold and cigarettes. We left and are trying to get a refund because it was so awful.

The room was so dirty when I walked in I took a rag and started wiping the table between the beds down full of food absolutely NO EFFORT in the cleaning the hallways everything looked like hadnt been cleaned or vacuum in forever which I dont understand I saw employment sitting on sofa when I walked in and out so they really must not care and the breakfast time they had 2 men behind the desk and another maid on sofa and everything look like just was throw out literally NO EFFORT at all I was surprised

It’s very strange to me to receive this message and time allowed to review my stay especially after being told I didn’t have a reservation. When I arrived to the hotel the young lady at the front desk told me she didn’t see a reservation for me. I assured her I did by showing her all reservation emails she searched again and claimed to have not seen any reservation for me. She even confirmed I was at the correct location but still couldn’t accommodate me therefore I have nothing nice to say about this hotel and wish to never be recommended to stay here anymore.

I booked this hotel on October 18-19 for a family trip, I have stayed in La Quinta before and never have a issue, but this specific location was very dirty, they have a room that stinks so bad I couldn’t even step inside, I went to the front desk and requested another room and they did but the sheets were dirty with hairs and dust and thrash on the floor I took some pictures and show it to the front desk guy ask for a refund but since I book from a third party they told me to contact them, and when they contact the hotels the hotel denied a refund. I don’t know how they won’t approve my refund if I show them proof of the dirty sheets and floors…. So do yourselves a favor and don’t book with them!!

I ordered the room through Expedia and they demanded an additional $100 for a deposit and said we would get it back in three days. I never got my deposit back. The rooms were moldy and dirty everything touchable had stains. The bathroom had blood in the tub . I thought if we ordered online it was bought but they stole my money still and lied about it

I will never stay at this motel again, and I would recommend others to do the same. I was in Baton Rouge to move my daughter into her dorm. When I pulled up, the outside and some of the guests were a little sketchy. When I got into the room, it was dirty. There was hair on the towels, cigarette burns on the covers, and the A/C unit didn’t work. The front desk clerk was polite and helpful, and gave me a room with working A/C. The location is decent because it’s close to the freeway and there are several stores nearby. Other than that, the place is just old and run down.

The room looked clean and linens were in good shape. The elevator, hallways and bathroom showed dirt, damage and (in some cases cheap repairs. I'm surprised that La Quinta allows this hotel to keep the brand name. The breakfast was minimal, with no attention to emptying the full trash can or restocking yogurt, etc. People loitering in the parking lot made me nervous.

The room was okay. Room keys took several tries to open the room door and the outside entry key swipe didn't work at all, causing people to put rocks or sticks in the door jam to keep it from closing. This made me nervous about my safety being only a few rooms down from the outside door on the first floor. The breakfast attendant was pretty much useless. She had to be told that there was no syrup for the waffles, that she needed to make more coffee and she brought cold sausages out to put into a slow cooker and then never even turned it on. The eggs ran out early and were never replaced, the juice machine didn't work. When she did make coffee, she didn't line up the hole on the pot to where the coffee was coming out of and most of it ended up on the floor before it was noticed. Awful. La Quinta has certainly gone downhill in the past decade or so. They used to be a quality place to stay.

Remarkably quiet room, given its location right by the freeway. Clean. Easy check-in and checkout. I got up at 10 AM and there was no breakfast service in the dining area. No iron in the room. Soap and shampoo, but no toothpaste. (?)

What a dump. From the outside it looks okay. It's off I-whatever but it didn't seem to hectic and I have to say that the room was fairly quiet with little road noise. But those where the highlights. The hallway looked like a run down, 1-hour rental and that's a lot of what it was. The halls and rooms reeked of weed and it was very obvious that a hook up service was being run by "guests." On entry to my room, the first thing I encountered was a large wet spot on the carpet. It smelled like a cleaning liquid so something gross had been cleaned, but they gave me the room without drying it first. The rest of the room was similar in quality. For various reasons I had to stay the night but cancelled the rest of my 3-day stay. I don't get antsy about much but that place gave me the creeps and turns out someone had been shot there not long ago. LaQ BR? Just say no.

I found the place dirty, saw a couple of cockroaches, and waited two days for the television to get connected to no avail. The breakfast was all cold, the sausage were put into a crockpot, but were cold, no decaf coffee and cream. Very disappointing.

So out dated, not just dirty but filthy. Some kid definitely knew his ABC's when he started in room 403 because there was pen marks on the door. The shower was gross, didn't bother to shower since we were there only for one night. TV was broken, they sent a technician to our room but even he didn't know how to troubleshoot it, it was just broken buddy! The breakfast was alright but it wasn't great. Will never stay here again!

My first room had multiple roaches and it looked like water damage in the room on the ceiling and the appliances were worn down with horrible staining on them. My second room had some marker on the bed and the bottom portion of the door was missing so could see into the hall. The lobby smelled like poop and down the hallway smelled like a fish market. The floors were disgusting and overall, I felt like it wasn’t maintained. The ceilings had stains and were chipping. The staff moved me to another room when asked but it was directly next to my initial, roach filled room. They said they’d refund me by 10 AM the next day when I refused to stay and they didn’t.
