Ramada by Wyndham Tell City

When we arrived we were asked if an upstairs room was okay, we said no, we are elderly and don’t want to lug our things up stairs. The room we were assigned was okay, however the faucet dribbled water and did. It turn on or off well. The next morning around 7 we went to get coffee inky to find it empty and no employee around to get more. Will not be back

Great stay, great staff, very clean

The property was clean but overall, it was a horrible stay. The staff was awful, and the “continental” breakfast consisted of cereal, bagels, and yogurt. And when the yogurt was out we asked for more and they said “sorry we can’t bring more out.” When we went to check in it took over an hour like the guy his name was Freddy didn’t know what he was doing, and we asked on our booking for an extra bed and so he had to double charge my card for that. And we didn’t get that extra bed until around 3am when we checked in at 12:30.

Breakfast was not good. The room was clean enough though. No real complaints for a short stay. Just nothing wonderful about the stay.

I did the online check-in for 2 rooms, giving an arrival time pf 9pm. After arriving at 10pm from a long day at holiday world I waited at the front desk with no staff in site. The 1 man ahead of me said the staff ran off to check and see if a room was clean. When staff came back, 20mins later, no rooms were clean so the man left. When I got up to get our room keys it took staff 30mins to give me 1 room key and tell me the other room wasn't clean and he didnt know what to do. He said he text the manager and was told she would be in in 15mins and for me to come back after he helped everyone behind me. We had 3 kids with us, 2 - 4 - and 9, all exhausted along with us 4 adults with not enough beds for us to sleep. I go back to the front after 15mins, when the manager was supposed to be there, to wait in a long line for another 30mins. Staff said the manager wasn't there yet and he didnt know what I wanted him to do the room isn't clean. After another 15mins of me telling him I need our room that I already paid for now he finally found a room with 1 king size. When we finally got the room key it didnt work. Staff then tried 2 other times to get us the room key and we finally got in. The room smelt awful of smoke but we were too exhausted to wait any longer. In total it took over 2 hours, after midnight, to get us our room that we had already paid for weeks prior. The manager never came in and never called. We will NEVER return.
