Aufenthalt für 5 Nächte
Hatte eine Lodge. Wohnzimmer/Küche + Schlafzimmer und Bad. Die Räume werden mit Elektroheizungen beheizt, die im Wohnzimmer war die vollen 5 Nächte defekt. Dementsprechend kalt war es. Habe eine Mail geschrieben, keine Reaktion. War zweimal an der Rezeption und habe mich beschwert, es hieß immer das sich der Hausmeister das am nächsten Tag anschaut. War mein erster und letzter Besuch, dafür war es einfach zu kalt.

I had to ask the reception staff questions as nothing was explained to me. I then needed to ask the bar staff where breakfast was, and times of swimming pool. There were a group of men in the bar shouting and swearing whilst people were trying to eat. No one managed this! The walls are extremely thin between lodges and if you get a downstairs one, you’ll hear everything from upstairs. I didn’t get to have my breakfast as they booked it in for a time I couldn’t do! And by the time I got to sleep with all the racket, I was to tired in the morning to make that time slot! I also didn’t get to use the gym/spa facilities. These also weren’t explained to me. Overall, the staff need a good shake up! It could be a nice place, but definitely need overrated

Main building facilities were very good, modern and well kept (restaurant, bars, spa and gym). Staff friendly and helpful. Food was good, particularly in the lounge bar and restaurant. All reasonably priced too. The cabin was a bit of a let down, not very sound proof at all so you can hear people upstairs and next door. You can literally hear a conversation. This made relaxing in the cabin and sleep quite difficult.

Nice staff and good amenities. There were a few things that could be better maintained, but overall I had a great couple’s weekend away :) I would definitely go back in future. If you are staying at the hotel, go around the building as the check in reception is in the back.

We checked out this morning and have had the best weekend. The spa facilities were amazing, the food was brilliant and genuinely a great stay. One thing that made this trip even better was the waiter in the restaurant - Louis. What a great asset to your team, constantly going the extra mile, always extremely happy and nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel extremely welcome and gave us information on the local area that was very helpful.
