Rooms were excellent, nicely renovated, pool was a bit dirty, but its now out of season and probably unused anyway. Wanted to mention that there were some reviews mentioning no elevetor, which was totally incorrect! Everything was good, close to the beach and comfortable beds.

Room was nice BUT pool not open, no wifi, no ice, and no staff to help. Texted for help and information, but received apology only. I am trying to get my property fee refunded, as none of the amenities were available. Recommend that you stay elsewhere.

As other reviews have stated, you can tell that they tried to update the property. It is no longer associated with compass Cove. When you check in, you can tell that they tried however they didn't put a lot of effort into it. There was a big crack above the door to your hotel room, and the bed was also seemed like it was built by hand. The pool and the hot tub were dirty.

Overall it was a good stay, the room was decent and the hotel staff was friendly but the hot tub was cold so that was a little disappointing but it was overall a good stay.

This hotel is not at all what was advertised. It is owned my the Grande Beach resort now which is 4 building down the road. The pools were out of order, the hot tub was working but had bugs in it. The TV would not work, I had to call for a coffee maker. There is no reception on site nor any security on or near the premises. If u call the number online it send you to the wrong hotel. After they give you the number to the front desk, When you call the front desk it just rings and rings, no body answers. They give you a number to text, but won’t get a response for an hour. Rooms were clean but facility is old and rundown. Don’t waste ur money there are better options out there.

There were no drink machines. The ice machine worked fair. The ice bucket was cracked and looked worn. We were on the 9th floor, I asked, but ended up after hours getting my own towels and a sheet set. I fell right outside the pool gate, against a rail, faulty steps, hurt my arm and it swelled a goose egg size. Told the desk, not even an offer of first aide. Just told me thats the city if Myrtle Beach side. I just wanted some compassion. The parking lot was cracked and lumpy. But the ocean and beach were wonderful and the ocean view from the room on the balcony was glorious. Glass sliding doors, kept the ocean view day and night!

Loved the interior of the rooms and the space. The shower was amazing great design. The only complaint we had was one of two elevators went down during our stay. Other than that great place to stay in MB will be back

Public hair in the shower .. I found pee by the toilet when I came in the bed went in, it was horrible could not sleep at all they were having a party till 1 am. The door was so hard to open I got hurt. The check out is 10am ! Not as advertised at all such a lie no black out curtains the remote had something disgusting on it . The bed was made with 2 by 4 it was the hotel from hell. Also no hot water. So taking a shower was awful. There was a huge gap in the door at the bottom so you could see right out I had to use towels

The room was not clean. There was still sand, bugs, and debris on the floor when we arrived. There was a black widow spider by the ac unit (that did NOT cool) but it was faster than me. I killed 3 spiders and a random bug before bed. I texted for bug spray and never heard from anyone. The bed was very uncomfortable. The best part is the location. The pool and beach were right outside the door. You're walking distance from many restaurants and shops, and a short drive to the main road for more sites.

Firt room phone didnot work .tv did not work .fridge didnot work had to wait till 2nd day to be moved to another room then the second room sliding glass door handle allmost broke off in our hand was broken .the window molding was not seald had a big crack where thethe window moved back and forth . Reported it nothing was done about itat all . Will never ever stay there again . Also mold in slidind glass doorways . Gross and rude and not on top of their propertys . Maintence was called over 10 times never ahowed up to fix the problems at all . I took pics and videos to document every thing as proof and showed the aupervisor and still nothing done .

Would never recommend this hotel. We did get help finding the hotel from the reception staff however. We had to manually fix the toilet repeatedly, one of the bath towels was dirty. The hotel needs a deep cleaning.

Our stay at Indigo was a great experience. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was remodeled and the rooms were very clean. I would highly recommend it.

Trid calling hotel for directions but got no answer. Waited an hour later tried again this time the automated system said to press you party extension or stay on the line for assistance. When you stay online for assistance it says no one available at that extension. Finally get to the hotel and there is a sign at the desk that says will be back shortly with no time on it. So we waited and was finally able to check in after waiting 30 min. The room had a perfect view of the ocean and was very clean. There was only one elevator working so we walked to our room on the 9th floor 3 thine during our stay because the elevators were taken and there was a long line. There was also construction work noise starting at 7am and it felt like the walls were vibrating. The noise was so loud we had to turn the tv volume all the way to max just to watch tv. I was working while on this trip I had to leave the hotel so I can do my online work because of the noise from the construction. I wish they would have said before we booked or when we arrived that there will be construction going on definitely would have booked a different place.

Although the room was “recently renovated” it was not impressive at all. Outlet covers were missing, the bathroom sink drain was broken, the mattresses were old and sagging in the middle. The sliding door to the balcony was heavy, old, and hard to open. There is no receptacle outlet near the table, so nowhere to plug a laptop in. It was raining heavy all day & night and water was seeing into the room. The porcelain tile floors made it very slippery, especially in the breezeways. Lastly, the parking lot is very small, so hopefully you dive a compact car.

A good clean hotel, with good staff, BUT, no internet for those that really need more than just checking email, Digital Nomads, go elsewhere. Wouldn't mind staying again if they can fix their internet. There are other options, it was expensive.

We were given a 1st floor room near the noisy elevator and the pool was just outside our door with people yelling and screaming all day long until 11:00 pm. I was as hoping to enjoy the beach view from the “balcony”, but had to peak through trees and people to see it. There was no hot water in the shower, but the sink did have hot water. It was very odd to say the least. If you don’t mind it being noisy and having children screaming all day, it’s not a terrible place to stay. It was fairly clean, although the sofa had many stains on it.

The staff appeared untrained. It took me about 45 minutes to get into my room even though I was the only guest at the time. The woman working the front desk didn’t know how to make a room key, which was frustrating—especially since I had a short layover and was trying to get some rest. Nearly an hour of my four-hour stay was lost because of this. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and looked recently renovated. The views were great, and the location was very convenient to both the beach and the airport. The beds appeared to be site-fabricated but were usable. Overall, despite the check-in issues, it was worth the price.

When you stay online for assistance it says no one available at that extension. Finally get to the hotel and there is a sign at the desk that says will be back shortly with no time on it. So we waited and was finally able to check in after waiting 30 min. The room had a perfect view of the ocean and was very clean. There was only one elevator working so we walked to our room on the 9th floor 3 thine during our stay because the elevators were taken and there was a long line. There was also construction work noise starting at 7am and it felt like the walls were vibrating. The noise was so loud we had to turn the tv volume all the way to max just to watch tv. I was working while on this trip I had to leave the hotel so I can do my online work because of the noise from the construction. I wish they would have said before we booked or when we arrived that there will be construction going on definitely would have booked a different place.

I reserved a room with the Ocean view. They ended up giving me the first floor with a pool view. I asked the Clark at the desk to have an upgrade to a room that has actually had an ocean view and he said he couldn’t do it. On top of that, the staff there was very noisy. Microwave was stuck so I couldn’t even use it.. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I really enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and nice. A couple minor things in the room but overall very nice. The beach access was great the pool was nice. Never had to wait for the elevator. Dont understand the front desk not being available during the night hours. Also not the friendliest front desk associates. The housekeeping team was nice. Ive been in customer service for over 30 years a good personality goes a long way. Theres potential for the hotel to be a very desirable place. A little TLC.

We were late coming in on a Friday night but once we got here, Shameka (I had to ask her name again....) welcomed us and gave us our card to get into our room. Too excited to sleep by morning it was simply beautiful! By our 3rd day, we discovered so many convenient places to go! 👣🚙 This is a very good location convenient to everything! The Indigo manager, Rikayah very friendly, when I took a concern to her, she was very attentive and very appreciative and took care of it. We are so happy here that we have opted for one more night! comfortable beds, everything clean, bathroom, there were towels, soap & shampoo, dorm rm refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pool, FREE WIFI the biggest deal for us beach/ocean! ❤️⛱️🐚 whichever room you stay in. This hotel was not as described, pretty much run down. Phone and tv didn’t work, had to wait for someone to fix. The door lock was completely broken off, handing by a wire from the inside and out. This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed in!!! And the staff was horrible!

There were no drink machines. The ice machine worked fair. The ice bucket was cracked and looked worn. We were on the 9th floor, I asked, but ended up after hours getting my own towels and a sheet set. I fell right outside the pool gate, against a rail, faulty steps, hurt my arm and it swelled a goose egg size. Told the desk, not even an offer of first aide. Just told me thats the city if Myrtle Beach side. I just wanted some compassion. The parking lot was cracked and lumpy. But the ocean and beach were wonderful and the ocean view from the room on the balcony was glorious. Glass sliding doors, kept the ocean view day and night!

We were very pleased with our stay after a rocky start. The hotel is understaffed. I felt bad for the young lady behind the counter as there is a surge of people showing up at check in and everyday we were there, we only saw one person working at a time. All that being said, she was very friendly even though it was obvious she was overwhelmed and many of the guests were being rude to her. When we got to our room we immediately checked for bed bugs and were pleased to find none. We did however find a that the sheets on one of the bed were not clean. The cleaning staff didn't speak english so it took some work to sort out. The girl at the front counter had a dozen people waiting so I didn't want to bother her. After that, everything was great. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The only complaint I had was there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Not a fan or anything. After showering, it was steam filled for some time. All that being said, we would definitely stay there again. I feel it is an exellent value for what you pay.

The staff appeared untrained. It took me about 45 minutes to get into my room even though I was the only guest at the time. The woman working the front desk didn’t know how to make a room key, which was frustrating—especially since I had a short layover and was trying to get some rest. Nearly an hour of my four-hour stay was lost because of this. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and looked recently renovated. The views were great, and the location was very convenient to both the beach and the airport. The beds appeared to be site-fabricated but were usable. Overall, despite the check-in issues, it was worth the price.

This property is great for the price and convenience! It was not luxurious by any means, but it was very clean and newly renovated. The staff was very kind! The free parking and walk out to the beach was the most convenient I've ever experienced at the coast. The pool was okay and the hot tub was okay. The small grounds area was beautiful with new tables, chairs and huge umbrellas. If we'd had more time there, we would have eaten outside, picnic style. It was located along the main road, so, of course, there was traffic noise and sirens occasionally. The air was nice and cold and our little fan drowned out most noise. The elevator was quick & convenient. The location is exceptionally convenient, about midway between North and South Myrtle. Keep in mind that we did NOT venture out on foot in that BUSY, party area, only to the beach. We were fortunate and did not experience and loud partying.

The hotel was very clean and updated and right on the beach the beds were comfortable and the room we stayed in had a balcony only bad thing is they didn't have breakfast but the rooms did have a full kitchen with dishes and pots and pans that you can cook with but other than that our stay was very good and staff is friendly

The Nice lady that worked the weekends at the front desk was Absolutely amazing. She was very helpful and made sure that we was taken care of. I arrived on a sunday and the pool was dirty and unable to be used. This went on till Thurs. They had started draining alot of the water just to refill it. By Friday the water was alot cleaner but still wasn't sure if it was safe to swim in. Would have been nice to have the pool because there qas a few days that the beach was a little rough. The room was very clean and We love the updated look would just be nice to have something to hang towels on and maybe a small light beside the beds. I will still choose Indigo again just a few things they need to make better. And if the smoking would stop on the balcony it would be even better

The hotel was great. Nice pool, beach view rooms, coffee pot in room, little store with beach stuff. T only 1 elevator worked but that is better than 9 flights of stairs. Close to Harley-Davidson, and attractions. The Board walk is with walking distance .

Our stay was disappointing in several ways. There were more than a dozen stray cats on the property, and the pool area had a significant amount of insects, which made it difficult to enjoy. We were also contacted by management and accused of loud music and smoking, with a warning that our deposit could be withheld. At the time of the complaint, no one was in our room. We had actually noticed the smell of marijuana throughout the day while sitting on the patio, along with loud and disruptive guests nearby, including people below us who remained outside until around 4 a.m. Although our deposit was ultimately returned, being accused of something we did not do put a damper on our stay.
