Good value for what you pay. Clean, parking and a place to rest your head. Close to the airport. If you want more than that, this may not be the spot for you.

Good old fashioned motel. Clean rooms - perhaps a bit tired as far as sheets/carpeting is concerned - but no issue. No coffee in the room, but it is supplied in the office. Very clean bathroom and up to date bathroom. Convenient parking for the airport.

Quick check in with early option ($30). Lot of parking space and convenient to many eating establishments.

This hotel is an older style hotel with outdoor room access, but it was amazingly quiet. It's convenient to ORD and restaurants.

Good for the price and free parking unlike other hotels near OHare.

Nice staff at the property! We stay here a lot and have become regulars. We mostly like that they have a smoking room option! It’s a plus for us!

The property is in desperate need of work on the outside. The driveway ( parking lot) is bad, there were screws in the parking lot. The rooms were nice but there was no breakfast at all. Just tea and coffee.

There is Denny's across the street serving great meals for 24 hours, and there is a gas station with the convenience store I can buy snacks. Soda and a bottle water vending machine is installed outside the office, and they serve fresh coffee and black tea in the morning in the office. Each room has a microwave and a refrigerator. Free WiFi of course. Great accommodation for a budget traveler like me.

Property was a little dated, but the room was clean and free overnight parking.

If price is your priority, this may be your place. I picked it because it was about $70 less than anything nearby and it had good ratings on all the hotel sites. It was adequate enough, so I’d probably stay here again. The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable. The bathroom also was clean, however the sink drained very slowly, so I brushed my teeth over the bathtub. The sink also lacked a stopper. The shower head produced a somewhat weak stream, and it made a high-pitched, squealing noise while it was in use. What the photos don’t show you is that this is an old-fashioned motel with doors that open to the outside. Access to the second floor is by a metal stairway that could use some paint. In the parking lot, two dumpsters were filled to overflowing with mattresses. Did they just replace all of them? I’m not sure how this motel gets ratings of 8-plus, but it exceeds what people might expect for the price.

We arrived early as our plane flew in at 8:30. We got a taxi from O'Hare that cost us $70(too much). When we got to hotel, we were told we could only stay in lobby for 15 minutes which had no TV and hardly a chair to set in. We decided to leave our luggage; the receptionist took it to the laundry room as we were hoping it would be safe. We were told that we could not get into room until 1 p.m. We went across the street for breakfast and just hung around as we did not want to rent a car. The room was nice and clean, but the rugs were so dirty that immediately my bare feet were black. The luggage was returned to us ; all safe.

Staff and service were great! Unfortunately there was roaches, ants, and mold in my room. There also seems to be a drug business going on in the parking lot as me and my partner noticed people meeting up at the parking lot driving in and out doing exchanges. Our uber drivers also told us we were in a “ghetto” area. If you’re looking for a place to sleep with affordable pricing I think you can find something much better!

The motel is very run down and in a poor state of repair.the carpets need a really good clean, they were filthy. The curtains were threadbare and full of holes. The furniture was falling apart and the hair dryer did not work. I asked for a non smoking room and was given one that had been smoked in, it smelt awful. I was so tired after a 22 hour journey that I just needed to sleep and just made do. I did not sleep very well as I was conscious of the tobacco smell. I would not stay here again, neither could I recommend it.

The room was comfortable and clean. The hallways of the hotel were dirty or stained, and smelled strongly of cigarettes.

Although it was clear that our room had been cleaned (the bedding appeared to be clean, the bathroom and toilet were clean, toiletries were provided), we were disappointed with the cleanliness and run-down condition of the property overall. The hallway carpet was stained and looked to be filthy. The carpet in our room had holes in, and the bedspread had a small hole burned through it. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke. The furniture did not appear to be kept up - the desk chair was worn and full of holes. This property sufficed for a quick overnight before a flight - it was quiet and felt reasonably safe, but for the price, that quality was disappointing.

The room carpet was filthy. My feet were always sticky. I rubbed a damp towel on the carpet and it turned black, from how dirty the carpet was.

This was my first time staying here and even though the room looked clean it was not. I discovered bed bugs on my bed and also have proof of bed bug bites all over my body as I showed the staff both my bites and the bed bug itself that I recorded on the bed in the hotel. The staff was very apologetic and did give me another room to stay in due to it being super late at night. Overall I hope they look more into this matter because now I’m here suffering in bites all over.

When we opened the door to our room, we were literally hit with a blast of cleanliness. The room smelled so clean, was so clean. It was very refreshing. The AC worked very well and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The frigde and microwave worked well, tho I wished there had been one of those individual coffee makers in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

This well run hotel is an excellent bargain. My room was clean and safe.

The room was clean for the most part but needs some updating. Like different curtains fixing cracked windows and fixing the black spots in the tub could be mistaken for mold

I had no internet in my room and it took about 4 phone calls, 4 trip to the office, and more than an hour to resolve, including first trying to move me to other rooms that also did not have signal. They finally moved me to a room that was close enough to their router to pick up the signal.

Overall it was a good experience. The beds weren’t really all that comfortable, but we made due. Water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired.

It's an inexpensive hotel that's convenient to the airport. It's old but OK. The low ratings are largely because the water in the shower was barely warm.

Overall a good value for the money. The housekeeping staff was excellent ever day, and very attentive. They noticed that i positioned pillows at the foot of the bed to help my sprained ankle, so they made the bed each day while leaving the pillows there. Two complaints i had: first, asked the front desk for an extra pillow, and they said they didn't have any. I can't imagine a hotel not having a single extra pillow. Second, there was loud music blasting from one of the rooms at 2:30am on Sunday, the day of the chicago marathon. I had to be up early to run the race, so i called the front desk after about 15 minutes of being unable to sleep from the noise. The man at the front desk said he would check on it in 5 min, but the music persisted for the rest of the night. If it weren't for my girlfriend lending me her ear plugs, i wouldn't have been able to sleep.

I have reviewed this property a couple times but I want to make a special point to note the front desk staff who are absolutely wonderful!! Especially a woman named Mayan, who has helped me with a couple of overbookings I made as well as many other things!! The regal inn should be very lucky to have her as an employee!!!! Jude Milstein

Check in was an awful first impression. Would not allow my husband to check in after he waited almost 20 minutes. He said he’d come get me and I came in within 30 seconds and she moved on to another person. Stood there for about another half hour. That to me is terrible to take that long to check in and get a room key. Room was clean, had bathroom tiles that were completely loose, tippy. It was noisy and couldn’t sleep. Not best area, but could be worse. If you’re looking for a spot to land prior to flying out, this works well for a place to lay down, watch some TV. When it comes to getting sleep or any kind of customer service, this is not the place for you. For the price, overall, an example of getting what you pay for.

We had a great stay at the Regal Inn. The room was clean and as expected. The staff, in particular, Jennifer were extremely friendly and helpful. We really appreciated them going the extra mile for us and recommend this hotel for a budget friendly stay. Thank you.

The door on my room would not lock or shut properly. Staff members kept coming in from my room when I was in the bathroom and they came into my room after I was gone. I did not like that.

This property as well as the surrounding neighborhood is obviously in transition. They appear to be working on upgrading the property. The room we had was comfortable and adequate our needs.. Couple of things: Seemed that everyday our room key needed to be reprogrammed (saying that my phone was somehow responsible for that was both confusing and a lie). We arrived on an early flight and the front desk was adamant about a 3pm check in although the motel didn’t seem to be fully booked

we knew we weren’t staying at the ritz but this experience was still a bit worse than i would have even expected. it had shockingly good reviews so i trusted it- and was wrong :( #1 it’s super far away from downtown chicago. the hotel is not in a great area at all also, i didn’t feel totally unsafe but i didn’t want to walk around late at night. its about a 50 minute drive or hour + long bus and train ride into downtown. when we got there the AC was off in our room so it was super hot and we couldn’t figure out how to turn it back on because the buttons on the fan wasn’t working. we figured it out via thermostat but still the room never really cooled off the way i would have wished. i kept trying to reset the system and eventually was successful but it was towards the end of our stay anyway. we only stayed for two nights and got back quite late the second night and neither of our room keys worked. the office was closed but someone from the staff just happened to be walking around to let us in, said it had been “demagnetized” and offered no other apology or explanation, or new room keys. thankfully we were checking out the next day and didn’t need them but had we been staying longer we certainly would’ve needed new keys. the room was okay, a bit gross in the carpet and shower but the bed was clean and comfortable (i inspected sheets and mattress thoroughly). the deadbolt in our door didn’t work properly and i had to force it to turn, and it was prone to getting stuck.

Smelled like smoke. Halls were dirty and bad water pressure. Staff was nice but location felt unsafe. Buses stopped early and were unreliable in the location

We had an early flight out of Ohare and wanted something close and inexpensive. This perfectly fit the bill!

Very convenient location near O´Hare Airport and Rosemont Station to connect via Train to Downtown Chicago

Located within 15 minutes to O’Hare airport and to Donald Stephens Convention Center, Regal Inn provided a clean, well priced room with microwave oven and mini fridge. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Loved the ease of getting into downtown Chicago and various foodie destinations.

I stayed here for one night. It was a good place to stay. The check-in out process was easy and convenient. The staff friendly unprofessional. The room was clean everything in working order and the bed was comfortable. I did like that there were several fast food restaurants nearby

The Regal Inn is conveniently located in an area with multiple dining options. The staff were polite and efficient and the room was well maintained. The only problem I experienced was that I missed the driveway and had to circle the block to find it but that's more my error than anything else.

The outside doesn't match inside. Inside is very clean and comfy. TV allow hdmi plug in which is great. Parking lot is spacious. Only down side it's kinda middle of nowhere. You have to take bus or Uber to go anywhere.

The motel was older but very clean. Minor issue, the towels were pretty thin but useable. Not much around the area to eat, except fast food locations. The staff was very friendly.
