This was an accidental booking and my first stay at this hotel. While the lobby was large and reasonably clean and the room itself was decent, several issues made the stay frustrating. The television barely worked, and although I reported it, no room change was available. Extra pillows requested for my bad back took nearly a day to arrive. There was also no microwave in the room, which was unexpected. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. I booked believing it was included, but was charged $18.75. At that price, I expected better quality; much of the food was cold, and a shrimp-and-grits dish was not clearly labeled as containing seafood, which could be a concern for guests with allergies. At check-in, I understood there would be a $50 incidental hold, but $345 was charged or held instead. The manager eventually addressed the issue and said a refund had been initiated. Water was available throughout the day, and snacks could be purchased, though coffee was not offered all day. I had no personal issues with the staff, but the delays, unexpected charges, unclear amenities, and inconvenient location made the stay disappointing. I would not choose to stay here again.

Positives: very clean, updated decor in both the rooms and the lobby, and tons of shopping and food options close by. That said, I would never choose this hotel again. The concierge at check in was not welcoming at all. She did her job, but did not seem interested in answering extra questions and was very cold. Half the rooms face the main road and half face an alley. If you do stay here be sure to ask for an alley facing room unless you are a very heavy sleeper because the road is busy and noisy. At night I was woken up by ambulance sirens, and street racing at 3 am. The management needs to make IHG update the advertising of this location because they have a beautiful bar but it’s closed, which they don’t tell you until after you book the room. Lastly, parking is the strangest thing. You are required to pay through a third party app or you will get a ticket supposedly. When I asked about it at checkout the concierge was the complete opposite of the check in woman. She was friendly and helpful. She discovered we had paid for parking as part of our rate and refunded the fee we paid to the third party parking company. She was so nice I increased my review to three stars. They need to hire more people like her.

Broken toilet seat. Found out late, after almost getting injured. All lights have switches, hard to locate. I had no breakfast paid ahead.. not set up at 645 am. paided 5o. online then signed up repay again at hotel 26.00.
