I stayed here years ago and went to a Braves ball game, it's an easy walk to Truist Park and several restaurants. My stay a few years ago was great, but this stay wasn't as good. It wasn't bad, but a few things: The sink would not hardly drain, which was frustrating, because you could run it for a few seconds, then it would fill up and you'd have to turn the water off to let it drain again, had to do this repeatedly just to brush our teeth. The sink water was not hot or cold, it was kind of warm, no matter which way you turned the lever (left/right). The shower did not get nearly hot enough for my liking, it was warm, but not hot by any means. The air conditioner would not get the room cool enough to get a good night's sleep. It wasn't hot, but I like it cold when I sleep and it wouldn't get cool enough. And lastly, when we checked in they asked for a credit/debit card to hold a pending charge in case of incidentals (as most all hotels do), they said the pending charge would fall off the day we checked out, it did not, it was my wife's card, and it the pending charge from Holiday Inn stayed "pending" in her account for 6 days after we checked out, then finally fell off after calling Holiday Inn twice. Overall, this isn't a bad place to stay, it's in a pretty good area, close to ballpark, fairly nice hotel and comfortable bed. But these things made this stay rather frustrating.

You can tell the hotel is a little older than some, however the staff is amazing and the beds/pillows were some of the best I’ve ever slept in. There were a few things that may need some updating, but for the price, comfort, and service it cannot be beat. It is definitely walkable to Truist, although we chose to use the amazing shuttle. We didn’t have the breakfast, slept too late. I really cannot say enough good things about it.
