The equipment in the gym was broken and unusable - desperate need of replacement if not repair

My room was on the third floor, and the elevator was broken. I’m 62. It made it very difficult. The first one that was given to me, the key did not work, would not open the door. So the staff gave me a different room, everything was fine after that.

Parking fine. Vacation no work.

The ac in the room was not cold even though it was set to 69 and had to be set to continuously as it never turned on. The shower was dirty with mold and rust and dripped even when off. Overall the room needs an upgrade. The pool was cloudy and looked like the walls needed a good cleaning. There was also a cockroach running across the floor by the ice machine.

Def an older hotel. Room was good, smelled a litle mildewy prob due to high humidity in FL. Staff were nice, coffee in morning was good. Breakfast was a solid layout, something for everyone. Exercose room was nice, but mostly ran outside in the mornings. S Faulkenburg road has a nice stretch for an easy 1 mi round trip run. It has a great location, close to major roads, highways, and interstates. Had plenty of eating options.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. This property would be great if it were updated, especially the bathroom. Terrible tiled floor. Super slow elevator.

The place look like it needed to be up greater. Ice machines didn’t work on the floors nor did the treadmill work in the gym.

Beds are hard to sleep well on, towels are also rough and small even the adult ones, poool was behind untreated and dirty

Cant complain, I was comfortable. Kids were bummed the pool was closed for spring break. But other than that. Nice stay

The staff at the hotel was friendly and breakfast was amazing! However, there were lots of roaches everywhere in the room. As the lights turn on, they scatter. They came from the dresser, on the tv, in the tub, and on the toilet. The whole time, I took all garbage to the big garbage bin down the hallway. We never kept any garbage in the room to prevent them from hanging out in the room, but that may have only minimized it. Other people's hair were on and in the pillow cases and in the bathroom towels. Some of the pieces were very long.

The room was dirty and dark. It smelled like mold, the mattresses were old, dented and uneven, the bathroom was dirty. I couldn't sleep there. The pool was out of service. Honestly, this makes me distrust Expedia.

I should have checked the Google reviews and not relied on the Expedia reviews. This hotel is dated and dirty looking. The first thing you notice walking into the lobby was the smell of weed. The front desk woman was nice but didn't give any information like Wifi password, info about breakfast, etc. The room itself was very dated and stunk of mildew!! The moment I walked into the room my allergies flared up! The bathroom had makeup on the walls, the mirror...the bottom of the tub was gross looking. I would not recommend this hotel. Overall I'm very disappointed in Expedia and I won't be using them going forward for hotel service.

The room smells like mold and the air conditioner also has a foul odor coming from it. One and done.

We had a late check in. When we looked in the bathroom the shower had not been cleaned. There was soap from the previous guess still in the shower and there was hair in the bath tub. Also the shower was full of mold.

We make about six trips to Tampa a year due to soccer tournaments. This will be a hotel we will never go back to. One of the dirtiest hotels we have had in a very long time. There was mildew in the bathroom which here in Florida is common but more than normal. There were stains all of the floor and the sheets had black stains on them. We also woke up to a few new cockroach friends in the room with us.

If I could give this place is zero I would maybe even a double zero the place was filthy. The rooms were disgusting. We got switched out of two rooms because the smell was disgusting the TV remotes didn’t work. They were filthy. Then we moved into the third room where the TV wouldn’t even turn on this review is basically for the owner of the building. They really need to get on the ball. I travel throughout the country and internationally multiple times a year and this is the worst place that I’ve ever stayed in. I feel bad for the staff. They could only do so much with what they’re given. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was also OK. The building is old but those carpets in the entire building need to be replaced. It is disgusting. There’s mold throughout. It gives you the feel of paying by the hour.

Pictures and front lobby look nice, but it’s all a cover, the beds are the most uncomfortable thing ever, nothing is maintained, paint chipping, outlets broken, door made loud noise every time it was opened. You can tell that they are not trying to fix or maintain a nice hotel, spend the extra money and go somewhere better

The room I was in, 418, had a very musty smell. I thought it was because the room seemed like it hadn't been used for a while and I thought the smell would get better after cooling it down with the A/C but that didn't help at all.

The rooms was nice and big, shower pressure was good, water was hot, price was good. They have breakfast, it was quiet and safe.

Could’ve been more clean and one of our beds were visibly lumpy. When asked to change rooms, I was informed most of the beds would be lumpy. I got decent sleep but just the sight of the lumps made me skeptical about my stay.

What a total disappointment for a country inn and suites. Hey management…look around…rooms/ hallways need attention and repairs and deep, deep cleaning! Awful smell on 4th floor, broken tv door, rusted hinges, filthy chair, dirty window shades, caulk moldy around shower/ tub… so very unappealing. Happily would had spent $300 elsewhere vs $250 for this Country Inn and Suites. I should have read reviews before booking, but we were tired and relied on the brand name. If a clean rating is 3.8… it means” in need of”

Had a great overnight stay. Room was comfortable with plenty of space. Nice sized bathroom and shower. Room was clean. Easy check in and check out. Had 2 TV’s only they did not work as expected and hard to find channels even with the guide. Otherwise excellent service and stay.

Terrible Hotel for the price. 1) NO QUEEN BED in that hotel as advertised. They are Full size bed. Again! NO QUEEN BED! False advertising. Barely two adults fit in the so called “queen bed” that they advertised. I talked to front desk and the lady told me that Hotel Size Queen Bed are smaller than Regular Queen size bed. I didn’t say anything back after that because her response got me by surprise. I don’t know how hotels operate. But after some online search, I found out that it is a scam that hotel uses. Therefore, don’t expect a queen bed in this hotel. 2) DIRTY!!! Yes, the rooms are dirty with mold smell. My entire family was disgusted of the place. Dont go by the pictures. 3) Beds sink! They feel like you are sleeping in old mattresses or mattresses made of straw/hay. Who knows, but horrible feeling. You can feel the spring from the sofa bed My toddler didn’t like the bed. 4) Breakfast: the eggs are not good. Im trying to not use bad words for food. But you can use your imagination when I say really bad! My kid didn’t want to eat it and I couldn’t eat it either. Overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for 2 nights stay. Room 409 has mold, humid, disgusting odor and clogged sink. I ask front desk to provide another room, and we got room 507. Same humid odor but less than the first one. We just stay because it was late after a long night drive.

We were confused at check in as we booked and prepaid online including fee's and taxes. At check in we were advised that we owed $8.00 additional so not sure why the site says all the room fees and taxes were all paid.At check-out we asked for a receipt and we were told our receipt was sent from our booking site so we still don't know what the additional $8 was for . Other than that the hotel was nice and most of the staff was friendly.

Front desk took about 15 minutes to come out during check in and there was a line of customers trying to check in. Hotel was OK not the cleanest but not bad. No water pressure for the showers, disappointing. Very musty smelling in the room.

I had to go get my key reprogrammed 7 times that is not and exaggeration either. The room smelled moldy, and there was food left in the mini fridge. One of the times I had to get new key the older lady that was working the front desk told me I must have switched the keys. I told her I did not and she said that was the only thing that could have happened. Everyone else was very nice besides her.

Very good customer service

Roaches, the pull out bed needs to be updated, there were no towels. We asked for towels at 9 am before we left the hotel and still hadn’t received any at 8:30pm and according to the receptionist they were still in the dryer at 8:30. Then turned around and said we didnt get room service because of the sign on the door, but as I explained we dont have to get room service to receive towels. The black lady with the puff that originally checked us in, has a very nasty attitude and not a person that needs to be working front desk. Just overall needs to be updated. We had multiple family members checked in the same night and the experience wasn’t great! Don’t offer the oull out beds knowing they have a whole in the middle. We had to put the cushions on the floor and sleep on them. Please upgrade your furniture and call pest control.

The bathroom door was obviously water damaged and peeling at the bottom, the bottom of the tub was scratched and rusted. There was a roach by the ice machine in the lobby. We had to go back for replacement keys to our room twice because they would not work. The pool walls were a green tent enough that I did not feel comfortable with my kids swimming. For a suite, it is a decent sized room with a lot of space but only offers a mini microwave and full size fridge. I received text messages asking how my stay was and to reply if I needed anything. When I got no response to my texts I went downstairs and was chuckled at by the two associates saying, “you can’t just text us.”

I will never stay at this property again. I have stayed here many times and now they have a policy that if your room is ready before the check in time of 3:00 then you have to pay a $25 fee to check in early. I was at the hotel at 1:00pm the room was available but the hotel wanted to charge me $25 to check in 2 hours early. It is not like they allow you to check out at 3:00 if I am done with the hotel room early they dont give me any money back. I have never seen any hotel charge for early check in.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room smelled like mold, the smoke detector was ripped off the wall. When we first entered, the housekeeper left her master key to all the rooms in our bathroom which I consider to be reckless behavior! We had our do not disturb sign up and housekeeping still went into our room.

When we arrived, after we had paid in full with Expedia, we were told we had to pay a hotel fee of $8 plus tax to get our keys to the room, because Expedia did not charge us for the hotel fee. This was not written anywhere or posted anywhere that we could find, so we called Expedia who said we were only supposed to have the $100 hold for incedentals, which we never use. They called the front desk and then advised us to get a receipt showing the charge. We asked for a receipt which they could not give it to us until the morning, according to the front desk. They also said “Expedia knows we charge the fee”. Apparently, they did this to every customer who booked with a third party. In the morning, they told us we would have to get the receipt from Expedia. When no wouldn’t be take for an answer, we were given a receipt with $4 of the money refunded. It blows my mind that they can just charge more money, just because with no explanation after you are already locked in. This seems like a shady scam. If it’s not, this should be placed on a website as an expectation when you are booking through a third party.

Convenience near the Hwy a lot of shopping centers & restaurants near by. It was very quiet.

We were in town for a few days for a concert weekend. The location was great; near interstate so it was easy to get where we were headed. Lots of food and shopping options nearby as well. We had some issues with our keys not working a few times, however it was corrected each time. The shower was a but tricky to figure out, but by day 2 we had it under control. Lol .. I'm not sure if all bathrooms are the same, but get your water temperature where you want it first, then change it from the tub to the shower. Otherwise, you can either have no water pressure or your skin can melt off. You decide lol When you're running on 3 or 4 hours of sleep, any bed feels amazing, so I may be biased saying they were great! Our room had a microwave and mini fridge which was great for leftovers and snacks. Breakfast options change each day, but they always have cereal, muffins, toast, bagels and fruit. The kind of eggs, sausage, biscuit/french toast will change daily. I would stay here again if I need a room in this area again.

The breakfast was taken down way too early and was not kept clean. Also, at one point the water was shut off completely. I walked down to front desk regarding no running water and the woman at front desk had a serious attitude and just blamed maintenance. The water did come back on shortly afterwards.. I would not reccommend this property and will not stay here again.

Check in was easy and attendant was pleasant. Too many channels on cable and guide doesn’t match channels. Annoying. Breakfast was not very good. Staff was pleasant and hotel was mostly clean.

We were welcomed immediately in a nice lobby. Easy to check in. Went up elevators to our room. Two queen beds and a sitting area with a couch and desk. It was very spacious. Coffee maker and mini fridge under th TV was great. We had a full breakfast included. Eggs with sausage, bagels, waffles, everything. It was great and great neighborhood withs restaurants and shopping.

The bathroom of my room need some repairs and looked a little rough but for the most part the hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast was horrible to say the least. I would stay there again. The price was right

Older property, rooms are fairly clean and it's quiet. Breakfast was not appealing. Adequate but over priced.
