We really enjoyed this property. No it is not a Hilton but great in its own way. It is a small motor lodge that is cute, clean, comfortable. It is 15 minutes from Lone Pine. The room is a large basic room with a very comfortable bed. There is a refrigerator, microwave and kettle in the room. A wide range of snacks are in the rooms. (Popcorn, chips, granola bars, and sweets) We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the Adirondack chairs looking at the mountains. We were very happy with this cute motel and will be back.

Also came with a surprising supply of gratis snacks -- and earplugs, which some may find useful for blocking the sound of trucks on 395. Adirondack chairs outside each of the 6 rooms contributed a welcoming touch. Note: this is a remotely operated motel with no staff on site. Also, for the price of a room, guests have a right to expect an ice machine. Shower head was uncomfortably low, while bath towels were of excellent quality. Oddly, hand towels were of only fair quality, and wash rags were so thin they might have come from Motel 6. Instead of snacks, how about bottled water?

I’m not complaining because I didn’t request accessible. Most rooms now have standard bathroom doors so we make do. This room was very difficult for us because the bathroom door was too narrow. The owners made a ramp so a wheelchair can get to the rooms which is great. A small fix- make the bathroom door a couple inches wider- and the room would be wheelchair accessible. We appreciated the snacks and the working mini fridge.

There was no nozzle on the shower, the toilet wouldn’t flush and the bed had hairs all over it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

It is hard to describe how bad it was. We planned a hiking trip with family and ended up staying here since we could not find any other accommodation. Bed sheets had holes in them, bathroom tub was stained and looked really disgusting. And the worst part was that roaches would crawl through holes in the front door in the night and climb on the bed. Actually, I really came to trust expedia for curating hotels and this was the worst experience we had. This should not been listed in expedia. And it was expensive and did not have nightly housekeeping. We could not stay last two nights of our stay and we simply left.

Super easy checking in/ check out process. The property is older but clean and comfortable and has been nicely updated. Perfect for a quick over night before heading up into the Eastern Sierra for a backpacking trip. Highly recommend.

The room was very comfortable and clean. My only request would be for the winter months to provide an extra blanket. The heater took a while to properly heat up the room. I very much enjoyed my stay. Will be coming back soon!

Also, we could annoyingly hear the neighbors laughing into the wee hours of the morning. Lastly, there are no food options in Independence, where the lodge is located. After a long drive from Reno, who wants to drive 30 minutes round-trip to Lone Pine to get food for dinner. We ate from the Mexican food truck, which was less than mediocre. For upwards of $150.00 that we paid for one night, you must be able to find nicer lodging with food options for that price in Lone Pine. I selected the lodge from the high rating and reviews on Expedia (which I do not understand at all) and was terribly disappointed. I hope that you read my review to save yourself the poor experience that I had.

It looks cute from the outside and nice views of the mountains. Some snacks provided, but only 2 coffee bags for 4 people. Fridge is not working properly and very loud. Airco is loud and need filter change. Toilet is leaking. Low water pressure.

We enjoyed our stay at Eastern Sierra Motor Lodge. It was easy to check in and the owner quickly responded when we needed anything. There are very few restaurants in Independence so we had to drive to Lone Pine to eat. There was no grocery store either.

We enjoyed our stay at Eastern Sierra Motor Lodge. It was easy to check in and the owner quickly responded when we needed anything. There are very few restaurants in Independence so we had to drive to Lone Pine to eat. There was no grocery store either.

Nice curb appeal for a motel with 2 new android chairs, rose bushes and flowering shrubs. Basic bed with basic linens just ok. Room was updated recently just enough to cover the dated establishment A/C worked great, refrigerator had a constant humming noise so we turned it off. Complimentary snacks were very plentiful and appreciated. May we suggest to include 2 bottled water? Easy reservation and check in with code for room door. No front desk, any problems you must text # to contact. Best value with comfort in the surrounding towns that didn’t look like your grandparents 1980 furniture and bedspread. Many upscale hotels in the area but wanted something reasonable for 1 night passing through. Thank you for your hospitality.

We really enjoyed this property. No it is not a Hilton but great in its own way. It is a small motor lodge that is cute, clean, comfortable. It is 15 minutes from Lone Pine. The room is a large basic room with a very comfortable bed. There is a refrigerator, microwave and kettle in the room. A wide range of snacks are in the rooms. (Popcorn, chips, granola bars, and sweets) We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the Adirondack chairs looking at the mountains. We were very happy with this cute motel and will be back.

Also came with a surprising supply of gratis snacks -- and earplugs, which some may find useful for blocking the sound of trucks on 395. Adirondack chairs outside each of the 6 rooms contributed a welcoming touch. Note: this is a remotely operated motel with no staff on site. Also, for the price of a room, guests have a right to expect an ice machine. Shower head was uncomfortably low, while bath towels were of excellent quality. Oddly, hand towels were of only fair quality, and wash rags were so thin they might have come from Motel 6. Instead of snacks, how about bottled water?

I selected the lodge from the high rating and reviews on Expedia (which I do not understand at all) and was terribly disappointed. I booked this hotel for a work trip and, unfortunately, my stay was not as comfortable as I had hoped. The text-message check-in process was very easy and convenient. They provided all of the information I needed, which made arriving and getting settled in simple. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It appeared to be a single mattress sitting directly on a metal bed frame, which made for a very unpleasant night’s sleep. The room next to me was also an issue. I heard repeated loud “bangs” throughout the night. I'm aware rooms are small, and the guests next door appeared to have a walker, so I assume some of the noise may have been from it bumping into the walls. Regardless of the reason, the constant noise made it very difficult to sleep. Overall, the convenient check-in was a positive, the room was super clean, but the uncomfortable bed and lack of a peaceful night’s sleep made this stay disappointing, especially since I was traveling for work and needed to be rested. Ohhh, and if youre on the chubby side, the shower is small!

Esperienza da dimenticare. Il proprietario ha sostenuto ci fosse un problema idraulico nella struttura, dirottandoci poche ore prima in un altro hotel del paese, Winnedumah Hotel. Questo, nonostante dicano sia stato ristrutturato, non ha microonde nè frigo, è impregnato di un odore di vecchio molto pesante ed era pieno di polvere.
