Shepherd Cottage - Grayton Beach, gemütliches historisches Cottage, nahe der Red Bar!

My husband and I recently stayed here for a week without our kids. It was perfect. Cozy and laid back but walkable to the beach and good restaurants and bars.

The property was nice, in a great location. The rustic cottage vibes were fun, the only down fall was circulation of air and the towels provided smelled of bleach.

Only downside was the bed wasn’t comfortable. Besides that it was cozy and clean. Good spot.

I was very disappointed with this property, and felt misled with the pictures provided and the 10 out of 10 reviews. This is definitely not a 10!!.. more like a 2. Interior floors were unfinished 2x6 pressure treated boards! Floors were dirty and you had to wear shoes. Orange duck tape was used on the floor to highlight flooring that was separating. Kitchen appliances need replacing, I.e. microwave enamel peeling, rusty stove. The pots and pans were old Teflon “forever chemical” coated. Fan in bathroom appeared loose and rocks when turned on, and toe nail clippings were on the floor.Close proximity to the beach and restaurants were the only positives.

Quaint as described. Historical and fun. Great location. Very enjoyable
