Homewood Suites by Hilton-Hartford South-Glastonbury, CT

While the hotel was okay, our room had a broken air conditioning unit which created a large wet area on the rug. There were also issues with the toilet. So, having engineering in our room while we were trying to get ready for an event was not ideal. Housekeeping came in and did a nice job cleaning, however disregarded the dirty towels that were left in the tub and did not replenish towels, so we had to reuse wet/dirty towels. Breakfast buffet was very nice, though!

Room was clean, but a little bit dated. Our biggest frustration was the dog that was staying next-door to us was barking, and the hallway smell smelled like wet dog. We like dogs, but not next to us when we left our at home at a kennel.

The design layout of the suites is very convenient. Several separate areas to either work or relax. Love the swivel base for the TV which makes it possible to watch programs from either the bed or the sofa on the opposite side of the room. Very clever! Beds and pillows are comfortable. Lots of breakfast food options. A very enjoyable stay!

Millie and James are the best. Helpful with check in was even very helpful with my emotional support pup being overwhelmed with the new place
