The room was so small couldn't even find a place to fully open a hard sided suitcase.... one elevator was out and pancake maker at breakfast was down.... when booking i saw the hotel was fairly new and thought it would be very nice.... it was clean and location awesome but can't get over the room size.

Bitter cold weather outside. Furnace and temperature control not working in our room. My 88 year old mother very distressed by this. Vinal flooring didn't help situation. Carpet would've been better. Staff attempting to help was appreciated. Rooms should be checked for basic functionality more frequently, especially in bitter cold weather for customer comfort. In town for a family wedding. Breakfast picked over at 9:20am. Supposed to be available until 10am.

Our room didn’t have electricity on one entire wall. We told the front desk clerk and she said she would take care of it while we were out for the evening. It wasn’t taken care of and when I went up to talk to the night shift clerk, she disappeared into a room and closed the door. I waited for 5 minutes and she never returned.

We only had the breakfast buffet one morning prior to heading out to the Iowa State Fair, but it was a great variety and delicious! Room was very spacious and beds comfortable. Price was great & we will definitely be booking here again!

Property was nice, very trendy decor. Lacking enough staff to work though. Only one staff at the front desk for check in and it was busy. At one point the front desk staff had to leave and put up a sign that she was away from the desk. The breakfast crew was only 1 person too. Food was running out during the busy time. There was a hair in the eggs.

My stay occurred during the nationwide computer glitch which caused them to have no room key access. They had to walk us to our rooms to unlock them every time we left the room. We understood that this wasn’t their fault and took it in stride. Then they had no milk or syrup on the breakfast buffet. Upon checkout I suggested to them that they should have run to the grocery store for milk and syrup to keep their already upset guests appeased. The manager became verbally abusive towards me. Everyone else on staff was lovely and helpful. She should be fired. I would have stayed there again up until that point. She should not work in customer service. I will never stay there again.

This was a fabulous hotel! Check-in was smooth & quick! We were gifted complimentary bottles of water for our stay. Room was clean, bright and decent size for our 2 queen beds. Location was awesome. It was nestles in a walkable area with shops & restaurants.

We were in town for a funeral. I called to book 2 adjoining rooms. I was told to make the reservation online for 2 rooms, both with queen beds and then call back. I did that even though I would have preferred one room with a king, and one room with 2 queens. There were "notes put on our reservation" but when we got there we were told there were no adjoining rooms. So I said, well then I want a king room instead of one of the double queens I was told that I HAD to book to get my adjoining rooms. As you can guess, that also did not happen. We had some big thing hanging out of our wall- I took a picture and went downstairs and was told it was for the TV. I told them never mind, don't come up. Our rooms had hair and crumbs on the floors. The downstairs "store" had towels all over the floor and minimal options that were of course wildly over priced.

We were in town for a funeral. I called to book 2 adjoining rooms. I was told to make the reservation online for 2 rooms, both with queen beds and then call back. I did that even though I would have preferred one room with a king, and one room with 2 queens. There were "notes put on our reservation" but when we got there we were told there were no adjoining rooms. So I said, well then I want a king room instead of one of the double queens I was told that I HAD to book to get my adjoining rooms. As you can guess, that also did not happen.
