On 3rd floor, no working elevator. Staff was nice.

The toilet took 3 to 5 minutes to fill up. The parking lot was full of potholes.

This place is a solid low-end place to stay the night more cheaply than a Baymont or Hampton Inn. I stay here a few times a year for nearby events since it's in a convenient location and a basic room usually costs $100 or less a night. The place is moderately clean. The bathroom in my room was adequately clean, as it typically is. No signs of bedbugs or other critters. The hallways and stairwells definitely have a funky smell. Free continental breakfast was minimal. There was no gym as listed in the amenities here on this site. Staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a decent place to sleep for the night if you dont have high expectations and only spend $100 or less.

They “advertise” a gym, laundry room, and business center but have none of these services. The price quoted was not honored once at the property. We stayed for three nights, I asked for towels every single day since the room didn’t have any upon arrival, they were never available. The staff kept insisting that they were being laundered. The staff openly complained about their co-workers. Lastly, the breakfast was stale and offered cereal and bread.

the last two times i stayed there the ice machine was down.this stay ice down and elevator down and ice is on 2nd floor. there is no sign on 1st floor letting you know ice is down so you find out after you climb 2 length of steps.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The parking lot was in need of repairs but overall it was a good place to stay.

Black hair was all over sheets. Carpet was dirty. Wallpaper falling off. Shower dripped constantly and didnt turn off. Hotel needs some serious, updating and cleaning.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location couldn’t be more convenient—shopping areas, restaurants, and the freeway are all just minutes away, making it easy to explore the city or grab a quick bite. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. We had absolutely no complaints and appreciated the friendly, attentive staff. We’ll definitely be booking here again on our next stay!

shower, bed and floor are filthy. AC and vent in bathroom is loud and rattling. hallways and room smell terrible.

Tub and couch were dirty. A/C unit molded. Ice machine out of order on our floor and the 1st floor.

Our stay was pretty disappointing don't let the good reviews and cheap price Sway you into paying for one of these rooms cuz they're pretty disgusting. They didn't clean absolutely anything there was hair everywhere, in our sheets, underneath the furniture and there was cockroaches it was just an overall bad experience....

My "clean" bath towels had some disgusting bodily fluid on them, Facing the wall (although they were folded and appeared clean) the fluid was fresh and wet.

Check in line was extremely long only one person at the desk and the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes

Very dirty carpet in the room.

Woke up to bedbugs. Coming from very clean people, and to wake up to a bedbug biting your arm is not an ideal way to spend the night in a hotel.

Staff was great. Loved the 24 hour available coffee. Room was clean, beds comfy. Definitely a great stay

The beds were so worn that the middle of the mattresses were sunken in. There was hair everywhere, the floor definitely hadn’t been cleaned, they provided one set of towels and of that, the hand towel was dirty. The ax unit was leaking so the carpet was soaked on top of it being super old.

The hotel is very old and though clean the wallpaper in the rooms had seams coming away from the wall. The hallway carpets were worn and not clean. That said, the staff was very friendly and helpful as our room did not have soap or shampoo when we checked in. Breakfast was nice and area kept clean. The property Definitely needs an update.

For the money, ok. Just dated.

The room had a few issues. Water wouldn’t get warm, the shower screeched, it was dirty when we got there. Otherwise I’d have given it 4 stars

Bed was very uncomfortable

It's not bad for the price. The beds are clean and comfortable while the carpet is stained in various spots. The worst thing is the shower. It screams at you the entire time you're taking a shower.

The staff was friendly enough but the facility is outdated and has a smell to it, my room smelled like jerky and the carpet was loose other than that room and linens were clean.

Needs updating especially the carpeting.

Hotel needs renovations. Its old and tired. My mom has a cane and the carpet in our room was loose and rolling with wrinkles. She tripped several times. The linens and bedding were very worn and thin

Hotel is quite dated and very basic. No USB ports, tiny bathroom, sink outside bathroom Dresser and bedstand well used. But room was very, very clean. Mattresses appeared relatively new but a cheaper brand while still relatively comfortable. Breakfast also basic, but adequate offering "make your own" waffles, oatmeal, cereal, limited bagels, yougurt etc Any other weekend this is probably a $90 hotel but huge events were happening nearby

They walked in and were rude because we hadnt left the room at 11 am when we had the late check out with hotels.com rewards.

Very disappointed. I arrived 9/1/24 with a younger and rather large gentleman wearing a lions hoodie who seemed so disinterested in his job and did not make me feel welcomed. There was no greeting it was straight to the point. Next, after being booked in room 111 with a baby snd my partner, the laundry room was next door and bathroom and you hear people go in and out of the room all day and night. Baby couldnt sleep and cried and i couldnt sleep because constant door slams for the laundry room. Next, i went to take a shower and there was mold on the wall and water damage and cracks coming from above. I figured well since i cant get sleep ill have coffee. The coffee maker was disgusting and had white deposits where the water goes. So coffee was a no-go. So after all this, i decided to get ice for my energy drink. I went to the front desk and said "hello" and was told to wait a minute. I waited almost 4 or 5 minutes for that same employee to stand up out of a chair from behind the wall, take his phone, and put it on the counter clicking it off. He made me wait 4 or 5 minutes for him on his phone only for him to click it off when he came around the corner when all i wanted to ask was a simple question of where is the ice? I made it known visibly i was frustrated. He also had another family woth a baby waiting while he did that. After everything i decided to peak under the bed to see how clean the unit actually is. We checked in on Wednesday afternoon, we were out all day Thursday. Friday we were gone all day. When we arrived that back that night. Our room hadn't been touched. I went to the front desk and got clean towels. Saturday night when we returned, still no house keeping. there is a letter on the front desk that says, you will not get any house keeping for the first 3 days of your stay. Really, you have to request house keeping. Never again.

The Good: If you stay here you will not have to sleep outside. The Bad: Everything else, oh my god. I booked two rooms here for myself and three friends. First, after driving for 9 hours we get there and they tell me they only have 1 room under my name. The kid at the desk asks his boss and she just (rudely) tells me to contact hotels.com. Turns out it was under the name of another person in my party - but this clearly happens to them all the time and they couldn't have been less helpful. In fact, it happened to another party who came in right after us, and *I* was the one to tell them to check under other names in their party. The kid was trying but the manager was rude as heck. Second, it's really clear that no one who works here gives a single crap. The place has not been updated since like 1992 and it shows. The lobby still smells like cigarette smoke. The rooms have almost no outlets let alone USB ports. We had to unplug the clock radio circa 1989 to charge our phones. The sheets are scratchy, the blankets are thin, the pillows shapeless. The carpets in the hallways are stained, the bedskirts are dingy, the windows are dirty. My sheets were put on the bed inside out?? Someone dropped some sort of chip near the elevator on Friday night and when we left on Sunday morning they were still there. Even the parking lot is full of horrible potholes. Do not stay here unless you have literally no other choice.

Arrived to the property and the staff was not polite nor accommodating. Gave us a smelly and dirty room with the a BAD Pee smell! Then they didn’t even want to give an exchange room, and that I can’t just change your room because I’m not happy with the room that they gave me.SMH… I would never recommend this hotel. Bad service from start to finish.

The location of the motel is perfect for any downriver excursions and getting to the major highways. The room was good but I couldn't get the TV to show any program I was selecting. The lobby needs to be updated. The furniture is 1970s and carpeting is a dated dark green. The breakfast was most disappointing to me. It was mostly carbohydrates - waffles, bagels, bread, muffins. There were hard boiled cold eggs and yogurt and cereal. I would have liked some hot eggs, biscuits, and maybe even bacon. I realize that breakfast is free, but instead of 2 waffle irons, put in one waffle iron and something else served hot. People with allergies should be advised that the motel allows animals.

Check in was easy, the clerk was very helpful. Though near the highway, I heard no traffic noise. My room was clean and quiet, and it did not smell like smoke or cleaning solution. Standard continental breakfast that included yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles. Nice dining area. Easy drive to downtown Detroit from here. Will stay here again when in the area.

Employees attitudes were atrocious. Would nvr stay here again. Avoid engaging with any/all employees, they hate their job and you won't get anything requested. One employee complained to KIDS about having to clean their small mess and the breakfast was terrible there was only rotten apples and stale bread.

In the past I have been happy with the breakfast buffet. On Wednesday and Thursday a.m. my daughter and I came down to eat. Served 6a.m. - 9a.m. on week days. The buffet had no orange juice, no yogurt, just about out of bread and bagels. Not much coffee left. They are not refilling breakfast items when there is still 1 hour of breakfast left. Prior to this visit everything was great. Maybe they need a new manager!! Thank you

If You Just Wanna Grab A Quick Room To Sleep For Cheap, And Not To Big On Luxury..This Is Your Place...Breakfast Was Alright At Best..No Hot Food.

For the price, the hotel is very good. I appreciated that breakfast was included but there were very few items and the overall look/design of the hotel was dated. I would book this hotel in the future.

Everything is great ,room is Clean, coffee for my stay in my room was stocked for tbe morning, excellent breakfast especially the waffles, cozy bed, walking distance to the fast-food nearby, friendly check in, numerous channels for the room tv, love the way i can control the temperature in my room, awesome coffee for the breakfast, always fresh, like to see eggs ,meat choices and chocolate milk added to the breakfast
