Abby's Anaheimer Inn - Across Disneyland Park

Only real problem was that one room had a small liquor bottle under the bed. The flat surface where the TV had been secured still had the holes from when the TV was moved to the wall. Overall for the price, it was a great place to spend the night while going to the area parks. Didn't get to try the pool, but it was very small.

they have free parking and it's easy to get in and out. there's no hassle when you stay here. other hotels scam you into paying for massive parking fees! this place is close enough to walk to Disneyland or to the convention center

Im on a mission to try all the disneyland local area hotels. It was abbys turn, and price is fair i think. Its not my favorite of the budget hotels for 2 reasons: its a heck of a walk to downtown disney entrance and there wasn't the amenities in the hotel or nearby that the harbor hotels have. Like they have no ice machine. Towels were pretty ratty and you had to ask a couple times for more, as they were "in the laundry". Pool area was actually grimy. Like dusty and hasn't been repaired in ages. Actually a broken step on the top of the deep end, so hope you aren't stuck there trying to get out! The walk home at night was long and dark and creepy in spots. I would stick with Harbor and Katella area if walking. One bonus was that security lines were nonexistent compared to harbor entrance.

The staff are very friendly and attentive. I appreciated that they knew ADA law around service dogs (easy accessable lawn for service dogs) The room was very specious and the maids are very nice, and the sheets and towels where changed everyday. Overall my husband and i really enjoyed our stay and plan on visiting again. Only Cons where that there was no elevator, our door had a hard time closing all the way, and the funiture is very dated (i dont mind, but some may).

Absolutely loved this place. Whomever designed the rooms, bravo. Dig ypur style. The pool and hot tub were refreshing. Also. It was a short walk down to see the Cubs. I give this place a ten out of ten. Thanks for grasping the concept of true hospitality.

Walkable to Disney. Hot tub was not hot. Cleaned the rooms, but always had to go to office for wash cloths or toilet paper bc they didn’t restock.

Might be more of a 2.5 star but don’t have that choice Checking in, the staff was fine. He just seemed tired and didn’t want to be there but no biggie, he wasn’t mean or anything, checking out the person was nicer. Pros: free parking but not too many spaces so if you have more than one car, might run into trouble, and it’s like a 10 min or less drive to Disney parking Cons: stained and old looking sheets showerhead wouldn’t stay in place so u had to stand REALLY close to the faucet and wall and water only flowed on the outside of the shower head, water pressure was some of the worst I’ve experienced at a motel/inn Walls are PAPER thin so I felt like I was in the room with the neighbor The street is LOUD and a lot of cars with exhausts like to go through (I think because Walnut street has a long strip of no traffic lights also) Mattress is very firm (which I’m fine with) but just warning those who aren’t, and I felt like I can feel the springs in some spots Floor didn’t look like it was really swept The furniture was worn out and the dresser was peeled in some spots No ice machine (from what I saw) I barely got any sleep which was the purpose of me getting a place the day before a park day, but I don’t think I’d come back here. You guys can try it out and judge for yourself but you have been warned

It was a really great location. Clean and affordable. Only major problem I had was you weren't allowed visitors. Any other car was charged $25 I explained that I would have friends over to visit for a couple of hours one car for about four hours. Was told no visitors allowed. Front desk clerk was not to friendly at check in. Air conditioner took a while to cool room down, slow drain in shower but room was clean and welcoming. Couldn't find ice machine, no elevator had a difficult time getting upstairs. Make sure you make request if you can't climb stairs for bottom room. When I booked this was the only one available but when I was checking in a walk in came in a was able to get a room so not sure if they had other accommodations. Bedroom had microwave and refrigerator. Secure location with cameras.

Exterior wasn’t particularly clean. Giant spiderweb on second floor that I can only assume was what inspired the classic novel, Charlotte’s Web. Weird thing, no ice maker on the property. Staff was WONDERFUL, room was clean, the place was quiet in the evenings and I felt safe.

Very clean and updated room. Comfortable bed and pretty spacious.

Just stayed 7 nights at Abby’s Anaheimer for the first time in a King room. Was a great stay and I would certainly stay again if the price was right. It was the least expensive I could find so I booked early in September for March. Nice bed and sheets in good sized room with fridge, micro, siting chair, large TV and free parking . Pillows were a little lumpy but not bad. Loved how there were sheers with the curtains on the windows. You could let the light in and see outside but people couldn’t see in. Room felt very comfortable. Front desk agents were excellent as were the cleaners who were in daily and were very attentive. Be aware that the pool and hot tub area is very small and Abbys is beside a busy road. I had a room closer to the office/a little away from the road and the noise did not bother my sleep. I loved that the Disney bus routes 9 and 11(which, during the middle of the day becomes route 9/11) have 2 stops directly across the street, one for when the bus goes clockwise around the perimeter of the park, and one for when it goes counter clockwise. This made it easy to catch it in either direction. If you’re looking for fancy, this is a motel and probably not for you. But if you want a solid budget motel and are willing to take the bus, give it a try!

This place was a filthy mess. We watched them renovate recently and had high hopes. Bloody vomit on the bathroom wall, a big hole in same bathroom wall, fingernail clippings on the bedroom floor, broken microwave, no ice machine, poorly made beds. Generally dirty, even the pool area. Office attendant was passed out in the lobby chair when we left in the morning and we had to bang on the glass to wake him at 6am ish. This should NOT be a Hotels.com offering. Also they require a $100 deposit and give a list of all the things they can charge you for. Stay elsewhere..the Alamo and Quality Inn and Best Western are right across the street.

The hotel is a bit dated, but the room was clean. The location is convenient for walking to the Disney parks and the Anaheim convention center. The room rates here are quite a bit less than the luxury properties elsewhere in town, so if you don't want to pay for all the bells and whistles at the high-end properties, this place is an alternative. One minor complaint: there was no "coffee in the common areas" as stated in the ad. In the room there were the fixings for making coffee, but I gave up on getting a decent cup of coffee from those in-room setups years ago. Also, this property does not offer a free breakfast, continental or otherwise, but, there is a Denny's across the street that is quite convenient for coffee and breakfast. Even with the cost of breakfast, it is still much cheaper to stay here than at other places, such as the Hyatt Regency. The swimming pool is quite small, but adequate if you just want to cool off. Katella Avenue can be noisy, but my room was in the middle of the hotel, and I was not bothered by traffic noise. One more thing: the Vietnamese restaurant across the street is a real gem. I wish I could have extended my stay to try more dishes on the menu.

There was blood in the pillow when I arrived. Very few towels. And sheets /blankets didn’t appear to be clean.

I liked how close it was to Disney and parking is included. I didn’t like that a bunch of water entered through where the AC unit is since it was pouring. I also didn’t like waking up and finding a huge dead cockaroach on the sink.

Person who checked us in was super friendly and very helpful. But as far as the room it still had hair on the shower wall from last guest. Also beds were super bossy.

The hotel was close to Disneyland and at a good price but the room was not clean and the sheets had other people’s hair so unsure if they changed the sheets

Pros: price, 15 minute walk to down down Disney, liquor store and 3 restaurants across the street, free parking, in room microwave and mini fridge. Cons: busy street so it’s noisy, 2 floors and 1st floor is on the mercy of the people on top, ac not as cold and noisy.

We stayed 1 night it is a very basic hotel. The beds were comfortable but the bedding was not. Being an older hotel you could hear all the noise from the traffic.

Felt safe plenty of parking in a safe lot and right across the street from a Denny’s for late night meals after Disneyland. Too far to walk to Disneyland for an old guy.

It was a great price and GREAT location. We could walk to several food options and we could walk to Downtown Disney. It was fairly clean. Small repairs needed to made to the rooms around the light switches and ceiling for it to look good. The beds are hard and not comfortable unless you like hard beds. The walls are VERY thin. You can hear the room next to you. There was a family with screaming kids and a toddler that I think they left there while they went out until late. We could hear everything almost as if as if we were sharing a room.

The person who checked us in was very non-friendly. He barely spoke. When we got to our room, we did not have face cloths or a hand towel. We went to the front desk to ask for them. We were given more bath towels and a floor mat. We had to ask what the wifi password was. Wifi was very week. We finally got a hand towel the second day but it didn't return after that. A lot of little things just makes me unwilling to return to this motel. I debated between 2 or 3 stars. My wife said 3.

Room was clean, staff was polite but there was no hot water in the shower. The walls are extremely thin so we could hear our neighbors talking all night.

Last minute two night Disney Trip. The Good Lots of free parking onsite. Easy 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney Bed was firm and comfortable Massive TV with lots of channels. Excellent water pressure in the shower. The Not So Good Front desk took 2 photocopies of my credit card. We arrived late at night and I didn’t want to fight about it so I let it go. When I asked upon check out they said it would be shredded but didn’t offer to do that while I was there, or give me back the copies. I probably should have asked a little more firmly than I did. No daily housekeeping. This wasn’t a huge deal for us as it was just two of us and we are fairly tidy but a family could find this troublesome. The Bad Wifi was essentially non existent in our room. It spun and spun. We found that we had better service in the parking lot which was closer to the front desk. If you really need it, ask for a room closer to that area. Our room was on the second floor second from the end. At times it felt like Katella was running right through our room. The street noise was crazy. At all hours. Would I stay here again? Yes, if the price is as right and I didn’t need more than 2 nights. I would just request a room closer to the “lobby”.

This is a good budget friendly option for a stay in Anaheim that's within walking distance to Disneyland and the Convention Center. What was good: Convenient. Super easy to walk across the street to a decent Denny's. Rooms were clean. Had a refrigerator. Decent price. What I didn't like: Noisy - thin walls and close to the street so lots of noise. Beds weren't super comfortable. Very few amenities (no phone in the room to call the front desk, which was odd). WiFi did NOT work, terrible. Parking was tough - JUST enough spots for the rooms, and they were hard to get into. Overall, I would stay here again, because I don't need "fancy" or even "really nice" when I'm on a budget.

Check in was easy but once we got into the room the toilet over flooded everyday. We talked to the front desk and they didn’t help much but give us a pluggger but said house keeping would clean up the mess. They didn’t take action right away even tho the toilet water was everywhere. Never again will we stay here

Fortunate to get a room here for two nights for an incredible deal. The room was very clean, and looked like it had been recently refurbished. The bed was firm but comfortable, and the AC worked great. The shower also looked like it had been recently redone. I have no complaints whatsoever. The staff were super polite, parking was free (a huge plus!!!) and Downtown Disney was a 15 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Check in was super easy staff always friendly even met the owner who was friendly and checked that everything was ok with the room. Great location for the Disney parks, which we walked to each day. A 24/7 Denny's is opposite which was handy. Would stay again when visiting Anaheim

Attempted to check in after my flight arrived but my room wasn't ready. No big deal. The system was not working so I wasn't able to get a key or anything. They held my luggage while I went to the parks. Arrived back at the office @ 11:50 pm & rang the bell, called the number written on the window. Nothing was answered. Waited around for 2 hours with another set of ladies who ended up in the same situation as me. Someone finally got a hold of the desk clerk to check us in & give us our luggage. We were told 24/7 desk service & no compensation for the trouble was offered. The desk clerk lied & said he was at the office @ midnight switching shifts with someone & locked the door. I was there at that time, there was no such thing. Lie after lie and no compensation for my trouble. Room was clean, bed was fine but it is bare bones here. Will not be staying again.

The front desk guy Eddie was very nice and accommodating. Check in was a breeze. The room is clean and the area is quiet. Felt safe staying here with kids.

The customer service at this property was deeply disappointing. Multiple staff members identified Robin as the hotel manager, yet Robin himself denied holding that position. I was repeatedly given conflicting information and shuffled between employees, with no one able—or willing—to assist with my booking. The lack of accountability and professionalism made for an incredibly frustrating experience. Avoid this property at all costs.

I have been waiting almost 3 weeks now for the security deposit to be put back into my account. It’s showing that it’s still pending. I called my bank to ask when it will be released but they said it was not them, it was the vendor who still had it on hold. Called the inn to ask about this, I spoke with a woman who said she would speak with her manager and call me back in 10 minutes. Never heard back from her. Horrible establishment! It was my daughter and I that stayed at the hotel and we checked in later in the evening, went to Disney for like an hour and then came back and slept. We left early the next morning so I know damn well there was no mess or anything we did for the deposit to not be released. When we checked out, I took the key back to the room as it was an actual physical key and not a key card. The front desk person told me my security deposit would be put back into my card in 7-10 days. Here we are, almost 3 weeks later and the deposit is still pending.

The service here is fantastic, especially from Theresa. The inirial room we had had aircon issues and they imediately transfered us to a new room and ensured it was nice and cool before we got home from Disneyland. The room was also lovely and spacious. Would reccomend...

Room was musty and stuffy. Absolutely 0 soap. No hand soap no shampoo. Nothing. Not even for the sink. Locking latch had nothing to latch onto on the door so the only lock we had was the knob. Also when checking in the clerk was almost accusatory of how many people I had in my room because another random car pulled up when we did. Asked me multiple times how many and asked about the other car. Only had two people. He watched us the entire time getting out of our car and going into our room. Will not be staying here again.

The motel was in a convenient location for walking to Disney and finding food along the route for meals out of the park. Nice and quiet.

Clean, renovated, staff was very nice and let us park before check in and stay Parked after check out. 15 minute walk to downtown Disney. 20ish to the parks gates. Easy walk though since it’s just one left turn!

We stayed 3 nights for a quick 2 days at Disney. It is walkable to the parks, though a little long since you go around the Disneyland Hotel into the far side of Downtown Disney. But, if you didn't want to wait for the bus, it is walkable. There is an ART bus stop right in front and around the corner in front of Denny's, so a few options there. No frills, but clean and the room was very big with ample space for storage, a microwave, and large mini fridge. Comfy bed and the room was clean. Pool was small, but useable, and hot tub was a nice feature. Kind and helpful staff. Internet was awful, sadly, and the shower didn't get more than warm. Those were my only complaints. I would stay again!

Great location adjacent to Disney so the walk to Downtown Disney is entirely on wide Disney landscaped sidewalks and paths. Much better than staying on Harbor Blvd. Second time here, will be back again.

Safe area Clean bathroom. Comfy room. 10 mjnutes walking diatance to Disneyland Walls are thing, you can hear everything from outside. Overall, good place to stay

About 15 min walk into Downtown Disney, well lit streets and walkways. Room updated, excellent bed, but very simple to non existent in room amenities.

This hotel was nice overall, served its purpose for sleep and showers. We took a trip to Disneyland and it was super close and convenient. There is a Denny’s across the street and different restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay. I didn’t see a deposit fee listed on Hotels, but it is $100 if anyone’s wondering.

The room was very basic. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked that the floor was tiled so you didn't have to worry about a dirty carpet. By basic I mean there were no tissues, a chair to sit on or phone to call the office. There was also no breakfast offered as was listed on the website when I booked it. If you are a light sleeper there is a lot of traffic noise. I was so tired after a day at Disney that once I fell asleep I was fine. I would stay again since I was not in the room much.
