Unexpected and unnecessary parking fee. This location is clearly not in need of any additional parking charges and I recommend avoiding this hotel. Additional deposit fee beyond what was already placed to reserve the room, which being mediocre at best makes this unacceptable. I recommend finding another hotel with less hidden fees.

Like many hotels they are struggling with staffing. That is probably the cause of things like slow checking, empty items at breakfast. It kinda felt like only one person worked there. In different times I would have given this plan a 3, but the staffing crisis is real. On the other hand, charging $7.50 for parking at a mid-grade hotel? In Flagstaff? No excuse for that one.

Newly remodeled rooms were nice. Pool and hot tub were chill. They were sawing and hammering and in an awful hurry to get everyone out of the lobby area after breakfast was done promptly at 9:30. No luggage carts when we arrived. Otherwise was good.

We decided to stop into Flagstaff as our daughter will be attending NAU in the fall. We wanted to check out the location and chose to stay overnight at this hotel. We were very impressed. The parking was great. The location was nice. The hotel and the room were all very clean! The room was very nice and quiet! We also had a great view of the mountains from our room window. The breakfast was great and the price was definitely within our budget. We will most definitely be back!! Thank you so much!

The room just didn’t seem very clean. The bedspread had blood on it. I could have sworn I reserved a king bed and we didn’t get that. Expedia customer service wasn’t helpful at all. I might not use Expedia again.

Drew the dreaded chaise lounge in the room. Never comfortable. Hate those. Surprise $7.50 parking fee at an HIE! NOT an urban location. No prior disclosure that I saw. No reason for the fee other than more $ for the owner. 3rd HIE property this week and all 3x failed to connect the wifi when password was entered properly. It appears there has to be a handshake with corporate which failed 9 of 10 times. It is 2025 ... get a better IT team. Please.

The lady who checked us in, was the best one I have had yet. Our stay was outstanding and I’m very grateful for ALL of the staff being so nice and friendly. I was amazed at how friendly the staff was at breakfast and the the breakfast was great, too! Had many options. The room was small, but so comfortable and had all we needed. Thank you!

Stayed for one night first time at this hotel, family of 4. Parking lot was a mess with storage boxes for remodeling. Staff was very professional and polite. Room was remodeled nice but cramped. They left the "cottage cheese" ceilings though. Random "Recovery Fees" and Parking fees charged on a pre-paid room? This was not a downtown hotel. Not cool!

1. The luggage check-in requires customer to walk a long way to drop it off and by themselves. 2. Housekeeping knocks door at around 8:30am. 3. Wifi will automatically disconnect. 4. No need to attempt early(1 hour) check in, will get very gentle reply “the room is not ready”. Overall, it does not match the price and Holiday Inn brand. Most staffs are very friendly.

My stay was not so good. After I came back to my room at 3 pm my door was ajar. The dead bolt was moved over so the door would not close. I understand this is how housekeeping works but how long had the door been left open? Anyone could have came in and stolen my valuables. I did call the front desk and explained what happened. I was put on hold so he could do a report. I eventually had to hang up because I had a meeting to attend. I waited 8 minutes before I hung up.

Property was clean, revamped lobby, older rooms but maintained. We had an issue at check in since it was an Expedia purchase. The manager rectified it in the morning and made it good. It was a late arrival and night person did not have 2 beds in one room. Initially, she suggested our son could sleep on the floor. My wife said no, so she put us in 2 separate rooms. We talked to the manager in the morning and she apologized and put us back together in one room with 2 beds for the 2nd night as well as gave my wife points on her IHG account for the inconvenience. Used Expedia many times throughout the years, heard of this happening, first time happened to me. Really, the local hotel fixed the initial issue so kudos to them for treating us right.

We loved our stay here. The front staff kindly greeted us upon arrival and accommodated our early arrival (we had forgotten about the time change). The facility, rooms, and amenities were clean, orderly, and in good working order. We did have an issue with a fridge which was promptly addressed to our satisfaction. Staff (particularly Alexia and Johnathan) were amazing: kind, caring, prompt, respectful, helpful, and cheerful. The entire staff, from Deborah (manager) on down was professional, competent, and pleasant. We have never been treated so well "across the board" by a hotel staff. And we have never encountered a manager who came out to visit us during breakfast each morning to make us feel welcome, to review what we had done the day before (which she remembered), and to offer advice on what to do or where to go for the day (to better enjoy our experience).

Came to Flagstaff to move our daughter into the dorms (Go, Lumberjacks!). This was our second stay at this location. Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet. Continental breakfast was nice. Location is convenient. Just a stone’s throw away from campus and shopping. Will definitely be back again soon.

Good location. Excellent service. Comfortable beds, and clean room. Good breakfast too! We liked it so much we extended our stay for another night.

This was very conveniently located off I40. Easy to get to and easy to get back on thebroad. The parking was a bit tight, but not terrible as I wasnt driving a large vehicle. The all day coffee was a nice bonus.

Very happy with our stay. Flagstaff is beautiful and we loved the view of the mountain from our window. Great access to restaurants nearby.

Unremarkable. Breakfast was meh. I travel a lot and stay at Holiday Inn Express for the breakfast and coffee. This location however did not deliver. The room was clean. Everything else was as expected.

Clean enough. Towels were "rough". Despite paying up front using hotels.com, there was a check out free for cleaning and parking that was never explained up front at check-in or anywhere. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. No decaf coffee and eggs dry. So just ate a bagel.

I did not appreciate that many food options in the breakfast buffet were finished and they took a while to replenish. Including coffee.

First, they charge for parking. I might understand that if they were in a prime location, but they are not. The breakfast is disgusting. Mini egg omelets, pork sausage links, turkey sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, etc. All gross. The room was very nice, and I loved the couch/lounger in the room. I did not like that the walls seem to be so thin that we could hear what I assume to be the phone of the person in the room next to us vibrate all night. We know it was a phone because it would vibrate as if notifications were coming in and calls. For the price we paid, you'd be better off staying somewhere off of Milton if you are an NAU family visiting. We will NOT be back. There are way too many available options to go with somewhere at the level of a Holiday Inn Express that doesn't charge for parking and has better food.

The room is very tiny for a family of 4. I didn't realize how tiny it was. The beds were comfortable. The staff did not make us feel welcome. During check in, I waited for about 5 minutes listening to another customer talking and talking to the employee about personal stuff. The employee could have at least acknowledged me and let me know she'll be right with me or something. I would not stay here again, only because of the tiny room.

This was an amazing place for a one night stay with a 20 foot U-Haul truck. It must be a newer facility because it is very clean. Or even had a chance to use the laundry facility and fitness center. For the price, I highly recommend this place. Parking was excellent for parking my U-Haul.
