Nice house lakeside to celebrate graduation from Calvin University. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and the peddle boat. Enough equipment for all of us to be out on the lake at the same time. Brian was easy to talk with and had everything labeled nicely. Would stay again.

House was awesome and was very easy to accommodate 9 people! Anything you could need at your home away from home for the week was there. The lake/beach was awesome and having access to the numerous water toys was a great time! Definitely will be visiting again in the future forsure.

Nice place. Has everything you need. REALLY appreciated how easy it was to find everything, labels are everywhere and it made life soooo much easier. Close to food options if you don’t want to cook. Nice beach area, we also rented the boat which I would recommend. Shallow water, great for kids. Owner was easy to work with and very nice. Pillows were SUPER soft and comfortable. Really nothing negative to say except we had some rainy weather which is no one’s fault but Mother Nature!

The property was very well kept. The host was kind and very responsive. All the sleeping arrangements were nice and comfortable. We rented the boat for our stay and it was super nice worked perfectly! The house was close enough to Grand Rapids but just far enough away to make it perfect. The atmosphere around the lake community was a super relaxed, quiet. The home was the perfect getaway lakehouse on beautiful Silver Lake that we will definitly return to if we have the opportunity in the future!

This facility has a beautiful sunroom we played board games and ate meals in I love the private beach and dock. They provided the life jackets and all the water toys it was so nice they thought of almost everything we bought a pitcher and left it there for the next group who may want to make tea or anything but seasoning, cooking spray beach towels were all provided. The boat was very nice the grandparents who are in their 80’s were able to very easily walk the pier and get into the boat for a drive around the lake. It was a wonderful holiday weekend! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

A wonderful rental property. I've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but none as fully and thoughtfully equipped as this Silver Lake cottage. Although we stayed in December, & the weather was chilly, we stayed perfectly warm & cozy in this home. We had traveled from North Carolina & Minnesota, to Grand Rapids/Ada for a wedding & found this to be a great location. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped & I would love to stay again in warm weather to take advantage of all Silver Lake has to offer. Brian was a wonderful host.

Super clean property. This is the cleanest place we've ever stayed at, and we've been renting thru VRBO for many years. Plenty of room upstairs and on the main level for a lot of people. The furniture and the beds are very, very comfortable. The TV works great and the wifi is very fast. Cell phone reception is excellent. Brian is great to work with and extremely responsive. Brian has this place stocked with everything you could possibly need. Don't need to bring any spices either. The view of the lake is excellent, and it's a beautiful lake. The neighborhood is quiet, and the people are friendly. Highly recommended.

We chose to stay here for a weekend to be able to visit Art Prize is Grand Rapids. The location was perfect. The lake was beautiful and the home exceptional. The home was clean and organized. There was plenty of room for our family. Outside was such a great place to hang out and relax. Neighbor was super nice!

We stayed for a nephews wedding in Grand Rapids. This is a nice and relaxing place - clean, very well stocked with about anything you'd need and very comfortable. The high table was great, big enough for all to eat together and play games on. We really enjoyed the waterfront/beach area and had a great time playing corn hole and visiting there. Plenty of chairs and room outside for everyone to be relaxed and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thanks Brian!

I have never stayed in such a clean, well equipped house. It was absolutely the best choice for our stay in the area. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed some great family time. Brian is a great host. We'll be back!

Gorgeous location! The owner was very responsive and accommodating throughout our time and handled any concerns promptly. While it’s an older home, some of the downstairs was remodeled and beautifully done, especially the sunroom! The home was very well stocked for our 10 day stay. The beds were very comfortable. Our only feedback to the owner was that the upstairs loft with the queen bed is not a true 3rd bedroom so there was no privacy for that area. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We had the best time at this adorable house on the lake for our bachelorette trip. Plenty of room for our group to spread out, but also spend time together. Sleep accommodations all over the house, gorgeous view. Quiet neighborhood. We loved this space, thank you Brian!

We had a very nice Thanksgiving here and Brian’s place is truly a home away from home! Need a Large serving dishes? Extension cord? Twine? He has it! The random items you may need to have a nice dinner with family, just look and it’s likely he has it. In fact other family is looking to book this home too, that’s how much we all enjoyed it. But wait, there’s also a adjustable height desk with an awesome view in case you have to do some work too. Beds are comfortable, and place is clean and in a nice neighborhood.

Absolutely loved the property. Yard was level, functional and access to the water was close. Loved having all the water toys & crafts. The beach was an added bonus! The home itself was nice, wish it would have had 3 Bedrooms with doors. Only 2 of the "rooms" had a door for privacy. Took my whole family from VA and our extended family who lives in MI were over every day and we had a blast! Thanks so much for a fabulous week:) Frances C.

From the day we made the reservation to the day we left. Brian was there to answer all of our questions. We have a son in a wheelchair, so even though the house was listed as being accessible, we had concerns about how accessible it really was. Brian supplied us with measurements to make sure it would be manageable. The house was clean and comfortable. The spring feed lake was so clear and the fishing was great. My son caught a 14” bass, some sunfish and perch. My husband was told there are pike and walleye in the lake. Even for the 2 days when the weather wasn’t great, there were board games, video games and lots of premium channels available. We watched movies and the new fireplace kept the room warm & cozy. The kitchen was recently renovated and Brian has plans for more renovations to make it even more accessible. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice house lakeside to celebrate graduation from Calvin University. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and the peddle boat. Enough equipment for all of us to be out on the lake at the same time. Brian was easy to talk with and had everything labeled nicely. Would stay again.

Nice place. Has everything you need. REALLY appreciated how easy it was to find everything, labels are everywhere and it made life soooo much easier. Close to food options if you don’t want to cook. Nice beach area, we also rented the boat which I would recommend. Shallow water, great for kids. Owner was easy to work with and very nice. Pillows were SUPER soft and comfortable. Really nothing negative to say except we had some rainy weather which is no one’s fault but Mother Nature!

The property was very well kept. The host was kind and very responsive. All the sleeping arrangements were nice and comfortable. We rented the boat for our stay and it was super nice worked perfectly! The house was close enough to Grand Rapids but just far enough away to make it perfect. The atmosphere around the lake community was a super relaxed, quiet. The home was the perfect getaway lakehouse on beautiful Silver Lake that we will definitly return to if we have the opportunity in the future!

Communication was fantastic. We got two of his Lakehouses for my family to stay for our wedding. It was a great place for everyone to spend time together and relax before and after the wedding. The houses are clean, and the view is beautiful. I really loved that everything was labeled, so it was easy to find anything we needed. I would highly recommend this place and any of his other properties to anyone.

Did a ski vacation to Cannonsburg (3 miles away) and the location was perfect. Ages 20-70 all skied or snowboarded. The house was spacious enough and everything we needed was in the house!!

We were looking for a place to stay while we went skiing, and found this gem! The area is way more amazing than I could have imagined. We found wonderful restaurants, shopping, and skiing all within minutes of the rental. We would love to come back in the summer to use the beach! Highly recommend. Only heads up would be that there is no tub... But if you can live without that, you'll be all set!

We chose to stay here for a weekend to be able to visit Art Prize is Grand Rapids. The location was perfect. The lake was beautiful and the home exceptional. The home was clean and organized. There was plenty of room for our family. Outside was such a great place to hang out and relax. Neighbor was super nice!

Our family of 5 adults had a very relaxing Easter weekend at Brian's home on Silver Lake. The kitchen was nice to work in, the bed comfy, and the view was spectacular. The weather was cold, so we weren't able to use the outdoor amenities, but we were able to enjoy the view from the comforts inside. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home and hope to return in better weather.

We enjoyed our long weekend staying at Brian's place. We rented the pontoon which was a great way to enjoy the lake and fish. The beach was awesome for the kids to play with all the sand toys that were provided! The home's kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal. The beds were all comfortable and the 3rd upstairs bedroom with the queen bed and futon does not have a door. We hope to come back to this cottage soon and to once again visit the quaint town of Rockford!

We stayed at this beautiful lake home to be closer to some medical care. Brian has been just wonderful with us and is quickly available when needed. He let us check in early and when we needed anything he was Johnny on the spot. I highly recommend staying here. And the view is amazing.

Very clean and charming place to stay. Plenty of places to sleep for our group of 5 adults and 2 small children. High chair and pack-n-play were in excellent condition. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
