Very cute, right off the freeway and next to a big shopping center just outside of the main part of town. The hot tub was great, cute little hammocks on each rooms yard. Felt like a cute little Mexico or palm springs resort

This is a beautiful property, but right next to freeway so you need to accept freeway noise in the pool area which we found stressful. Would be 5 star property without the noise from the freeway.

Wonderful hotel! If they keep their prices reasonable we will be back but I just looked for 6 months time and the same room is already $60 more than we paid! It’s brand new so everything was in great condition and they were working hard to service everyone well. Loved the pool area which has a bar and restaurant so no need to go anywhere if you don’t want to which is what we were looking for. Pool is over 21s only so it’s the perfect place for a couples getaway.

Everything was outstanding. A friendly greeting in the lobby and quick check in. The pool was great but you cannot have your favorite local wine at the pool. You can, however, have it opened at dinner for modest corking fee. Overall, Great!!

This property is newly renovated to perfection. It was better than expected with each room like its your own little casita. We loved all the attention to detail and loved the pool. We spent time by the pool with plenty of shade available, read in the hammock and stared at the stars from the fire pit. Helpful staff and free parking. Easy quick drive to downtown Paso and wineries.

We had a staycation for my husband’s birthday, and the River Lodge was a great choice. The pool was clean and the seating around it gave resort vibes. The pool bar had a great selection of cocktails. The hot tub was great. We were there in a cooler day and wished the pool was slightly more heated. The rooms were nice. We also enjoyed the fire pits at night. We’ll definitely be back.

River Lodge lives up to the hype!! They have thought of everything. The design is gorgeous, the bed is super comfy, and the pool is fantastic. My pup enjoyed her time there, too. With the front yard and grassy areas, it was super easy to have her along for the relaxing weekend.

From the moment I walked in and was excitedly greeted by the front desk host, then the lovely and helpful server who delivered room service, and finally the warm and friendly clerk who checked me out in the morning. The rooms are adorable, clean and comfortable. The pool is fun and relaxing. The whole property makes you feel relaxed and recharged after a long day of work or wine tasting.

We loved our stay at the river Lodge! It is the cutest boutique hotel. I’ve stayed at in a long time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the pool set up in the center of the motel. The grounds were gorgeous, and we loved having a hammock outside our patio.

Great place, so cute! Spacious room, bunker walls so it's quiet, fireplace, huge bathroom, beautiful pool. Couldn't figure out how to make room warmer except to run fireplace. Nice bar and high-end restaurant at the pool. Free parking on site. The pizza is flavorless. Location is out of town....not walkable to bars.

We had such a good time at the River Lodge! When we pulled into the parking lot, we weren't sure what we had gotten ourselves into, but once we entered the gate, it was like an oasis. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant was good, and the room was very comfortable. We had a nice mattress and pillows, soft towels, a fireplace, and a smart TV. We will be staying there again on our next trip to Paso Robles.

Wanted to love this cute place but FROZE as a result of a ceiling unit that never got warm. Bathroom had no vent and it was 40 degrees outside. Also, no iron in the room was not typical and both parties needed one. Restaurant is outside and it was too cold to sit. Perhaps this motel is better in the summer. Also, loud music played at the restaurant until 10ish and I had asked for a quiet room.

A couple dings - never got the text with property info like wifi or pool access code. Pool had no towels around when we arrived late afternoon. They gave us an upgrade at check in with a bigger outdoor space, that we didn't need or use (OK), which gave us a smaller bed and possibly loudest room given its proximity to the highway.

This place is amazing. David and his staff truly deliver an exceptional experience. The food and drinks at the restaurant are top notch. A stellar location to bring dogs as well. Grass right out front of your room. Super dog friendly. The rooms are immaculate and vibrant with plenty of space. We will be coming back for sure.

What a wonderful, quaint, and cute place! The customer service is next level, and the property is awesome. Great pool, fire pits, a bar and a restaurant. Location is great with quick on and off the 101, and near all the wieners. Rooms are spacious the bedding was so nice. Will always stay in when in Paso.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at River Lodge. Our room was extremely comfortable. We loved having the option for room service and we enjoyed the bar/pool area however we think there could be some improvement on the drinks and service. The staff was friendly enough but we would have to wait quite a long time for drinks which were not that great. Definately enjoyed ourselves.

Very cute, right off the freeway and next to a big shopping center just outside of the main part of town. The hot tub was great, cute little hammocks on each rooms yard. Felt like a cute little Mexico or palm springs resort

This is a beautiful property, but right next to freeway so you need to accept freeway noise in the pool area which we found stressful. Would be 5 star property without the noise from the freeway.

Great place, so cute! Spacious room, bunker walls so it's quiet, fireplace, huge bathroom, beautiful pool. Couldn't figure out how to make room warmer except to run fireplace. Nice bar and high-end restaurant at the pool. Free parking on site. The pizza is flavorless. Location is out of town....not walkable to bars.

I love this place! I really didn't know what to expect but it is truly lovely. It is pretty close to the 101 and you can hear the road a little when in the Pool area but it was not enough to be off putting and all the charm of the Hotel makes up for it. I will for sure be staying here again next time I am in the area!

This place made such a great base for exploring Paso wine country. Not a whole lot within walking distance but downtown, tin city and lots of wineries within a quick drive. Great pool, bar & wonderful staff. Rooms are comfortable, stylish & well appointed. Will definitely stay here again!

This property is newly renovated to perfection. It was better than expected with each room like its your own little casita. We loved all the attention to detail and loved the pool. We spent time by the pool with plenty of shade available, read in the hammock and stared at the stars from the fire pit. Helpful staff and free parking. Easy quick drive to downtown Paso and wineries.

What a wonderful, quaint, and cute place! The customer service is next level, and the property is awesome. Great pool, fire pits, a bar and a restaurant. Location is great with quick on and off the 101, and near all the wieners. Rooms are spacious the bedding was so nice. Will always stay in when in Paso.

This place is amazing. David and his staff truly deliver an exceptional experience. The food and drinks at the restaurant are top notch. A stellar location to bring dogs as well. Grass right out front of your room. Super dog friendly. The rooms are immaculate and vibrant with plenty of space. We will be coming back for sure.

Wonderful hotel! If they keep their prices reasonable we will be back but I just looked for 6 months time and the same room is already $60 more than we paid! It’s brand new so everything was in great condition and they were working hard to service everyone well. Loved the pool area which has a bar and restaurant so no need to go anywhere if you don’t want to which is what we were looking for. Pool is over 21s only so it’s the perfect place for a couples getaway.

We knew about this hotel through Nomada partners. Their sister Hotel is in Los Alamos and we were keen to stay at one of the properties. The aesthetics alone are enough to make anyone swoon. Check in was super easy and the hotel staff was very nice, informative, and accommodating. The ammenities & products felt so luxurious, clean, and thought of to every last detail. The food at Ciao Papi is some of the best in Paso Robles. We live in Sonoma County and have had really great fresh food and this was some of the best pizza by far. We cancelled plans for one of our days just to lay poolside! Pet friendly for a much more affordable fee than a lot of other hotels in downtown Paso, and you can even have them in the pool area on a leash. We also thought it would be loud being so close to Highway 101 and Hwy 46, but it was VERY quiet and we all got the best nights sleep. Will most definitely be staying again.

We had a staycation for my husband’s birthday, and the River Lodge was a great choice. The pool was clean and the seating around it gave resort vibes. The pool bar had a great selection of cocktails. The hot tub was great. We were there in a cooler day and wished the pool was slightly more heated. The rooms were nice. We also enjoyed the fire pits at night. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at River Lodge. Our room was extremely comfortable. We loved having the option for room service and we enjoyed the bar/pool area however we think there could be some improvement on the drinks and service. The staff was friendly enough but we would have to wait quite a long time for drinks which were not that great. Definately enjoyed ourselves.

We stay here every time we head to Paso Robles. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Good pillows, bedding, and fluffy towels make a stay so much nicer. The pool is fun, and the restaurant is good too. Overall, a good value, and we will be back for another stay.

We spent two nights here for our anniversary. Hotel design is beautiful, lots of attention to detail and thoughtful touches. We loved the hammock on our patio and comfy mattress. Only thing is, we we're a bit disappointed the jacuzzi was out of order, as we were looking forward to unwinding there in the evening. The hot coffee in the lobby each morning was nice, we sat by the fountains and enjoyed the quite morning on the property. Some additional pastry options would have been appreciated. Overall, a very nice experience, pool area was fantastic!

What a relaxing place to stay in Paso Robles - did not feel like a roadside motel, it felt more like a swanky desert oasis! We enjoyed hanging out in the pool and using the facilities. Staff was friendly and the poolside music was terrific!

I loved this hotel! It is so cute! The way the property is set up around the amazing pool and bar, the rooms with little yard and hammock, the lobby with croissants and tea and coffee in the morning, the friendly staff, the food, the fire pit to sit around at night,the comfy beds, the modern eclectic design, and the whole vibe of the property made me never want to leave. Added plus is that the pool is 18 and over so you can really relax. Also very convenient location, close to freeway, and downtown. We will be back!

It's really close to the freeway but surprisingly quiet. Pool gets crowded I think they allow day passes for locals. They need more umbrellas by the pool. Rooms are nice but dark. Not much around the hotel so you have to drive into Paso Robles via the freeway.
