Great value and very close to Santa Lucia train station! This was the perfect place to stay and the staff are super helpful and attentive. The on property restaurants are excellent as well. Highly recommended!

Great location in Venice, near train station (short walk) on the canal. Hotel staff were great. And restuarant had good food and views. Modern ammenities, old world charm. Has elevaor but still many steps to room (due to old buildings), so hard with lots of luggage. Overall, I do recommend this hotel.

Los felicito el hotel está increíble. La zona del hotel está excelente, con la estación del tren a 4 minutos, la salido de botes a la misma distancia .La habitación estupenda, muy limpia, su comida muy buena, la terraza para comer sobre el gran canal.

Excellent location near to the train station on the grand canal. Friendly staff who were very helpful. We stayed in the annexe next door which had a bit of a smelly outdoor passageway at times but was lovely and quiet. Would definitely recommend a stay here, felt very safe and lots going on along the streets outside.

We stayed in suite 500 and the views from the balconies were amazing! I was looking for a hotel with a balcony that we could look at the canal and this room was just perfect. Staff were friendly and breakfast spread was great. It is super convenient as its just a few minutes walk from the train station. And also the water buses. We took a water taxi to the airport when we left and it was awesome too. Travelled with 2 young kids and they loved the hotel. A functional, pleasant business hotel … but a small shower that flooded immediately, giving the bathroom a moody smell; had to cross a dank alley (and once enjoy the spectacle of someone peeing there) to reach our building/room; unnecessarily closes the terrace overlooking Grand Canal at 10; very noisy one night as they moved laundry trolleys around in the alley, in Venice, but far from most things. In the end, better than nothing.

This hotel does not look anything like the pictures. We arrived to our room with bugs flying around, mold in the shower, stains on the walls were they had killed other bugs. The bathroom walls were falling apart. We immediately checked out and went to another hotel!

Bathrooms had mold and we had to book another room for a family of 4. While booking through the app we we mentioned the kids with family of 4 and we booked the system suggested room. Upon our arrival the front desk made us book another room saying that kids age doesn’t apply to that room size which we entered our kids age while booking as that’s how the system will let you even reserve it in the first place.

Although the property was located in a great area the room itself was lacking. It appeared that the hotel was in mid stride repairing the bathroom in our room, but left unfinished. The shower grout lines had mold in the shower, as well.

Only positive was the location. Very close to everything, especially the train station (4min walk). That being said, this hotel is not well maintained, everythint is beat up, and not very clean. Upon entering the room we were hit with a very strong musty smell. The air conditioning did not work, the shower door was broken and did not close all the way, flooding the bathroom during a shower. The walls were dirty, lamp shade, and what looked like dried nose dirt stuck on the clean towel I grabbed. We were told upon arrival we had been "upgraded". If this was an upgrade, I would hate to see anything less. Do not stay here.

The air conditioning is inadequate. The temperature in our room never got below 22C (72F) and mostly was 23-24C. If you’re in any way hot natured, do not stay here. There was no attempt by the front desk staff to address our complaints. All that they said was they have no fans, that the hotel was sold out so they could not switch rooms and the manager has been advised.

O hotel fica localizado a uns 5 minutos de caminhada da estação de trem Santa Lúcia, o que facilitou muito a locomoção na chegada e saída da cidade. O quarto era maravilhoso com vista para o canal, tinha até uma sacada para apreciar o Grand Canal. O quarto estava limpo era muito bonito e acomodou 4 pessoas com conforto, não era muito grande, mas foi perfeito! O café da minha tinha bastante variedade e os funcionários eram muito cordiais. Voltaria com certeza para esse hotel.

I have mixed feeling about this hotel because there were some excellent features and some terrible ones ! Let’s start with the GOOD features ! The best thing about this hotel was its location ! It was literally 5 minutes walking from the St. Lucia Station! If you have a lot of luggage like I did then you will understand why this is important. The staff was very friendly . The room was a spacious , clean , the bed was comfortable , and shower pressure was excellent . Breakfast was also pretty good ! Hotel served scrambled eggs , sausage , bacon , fruit , a good variety of bread and breakfast cakes . Also a good variety of beverages like fresh orange juice and a great coffee machine with many options . Here are some of the NEGATIVES ! Our room faced the street on the second floor ! Walls are thin like paper, we could hear everything that was happening on the street all the time ! Loud people , sometimes even sang ! It was extremely annoying hearing people drag their luggage at ungodly hours and drunk people yelling at 2 -3 am. We could not sleep very well for the 3 nights that we were there ! Another very annoying feature is that the thermostat in the room was just for decoration, they had central heating , we were not able to control the temperature of our room at all! We visited Venice in the beginning of May and hotel had A/C set at heat ! Our room was pretty hot .Opening the windows were not even an option because of the street noise !

Before checking in specifically asked if they had AC. We left it on for an hour and it never cooled down. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. We had to open the windows and there were no screens got chewed up by mosquitoes. Not even a fan was offered. Worst hotel experience. We also asked for a room change and that was also not possible.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and once again it didn’t disappoint. They kindly honoured our request for a specific room, which made our return to Venice even more memorable. A special mention goes to Andrea (the Manager), Andrea and Dalla at Reception, and Nishan from Maintenance for their exceptional helpfulness throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the main canal, about 300 meters from Venezia Santa Lucia train station and roughly 650 meters from the taxi stand at Ponte della Liberta. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and offered a spectacular view. We look forward to staying here again.

Nothing to complain about, ALL staff were excellent. Breakfast great, no issues. Shout out to Claudia on Reception who was superb. Counting the days till we return.

The property is good. We had a room with the view of the canal which was great. The way from reception to the building where the room is located stinks. The front desk/ reception staff is extremely rude and unfriendly. We happened to check out a little later than the scheduled check-out time since we got stuck at the water bus station in Venice which was our fault( the water bus can get extremely busy and crowded in spring and summer. We waited almost 2 hours just to catch the water bus to get back to our hotel stop ) But, there was no attempt made by the staff to reach us or let us know that they would send cleaners to our room while we were away. Our bags were packed and all they had to do was to let us know that they would move the bags to storage safely while they can clean the room but we were not asked or Informed and upon our return to the hotel, the receptionist was extremely rude in her behavior. Our room was open with cleaners turning over the room. Our luggage was inside with all our valuables ( camera and cash) All our food was thrown in trash and some of the cash money went missing from the bag. They would not help us move our bags out of the room either. A little hospitality would be nice!

Everything was great on this stay. The staff was kind and welcoming, they kindly held our luggage until the check-in time so we could walk around in the meantime, and for our check-in they left them already inside the room when we arrived.

O hotel fica localizado a uns 5 minutos de caminhada da estação de trem Santa Lúcia, o que facilitou muito a locomoção na chegada e saída da cidade. O quarto era maravilhoso com vista para o canal, tinha até uma sacada para apreciar o Grand Canal. O quarto estava limpo era muito bonito e acomodou 4 pessoas com conforto, não era muito grande, mas foi perfeito! O café da minha tinha bastante variedade e os funcionários eram muito cordiais. Voltaria com certeza para esse hotel.

Hotel is a 4 minute walk from the train station (7 minute walk from bus station if you're taking bus to airport) - very convenient when there's no uber and you have suitcases. We had a canal view room which only added to our amazing Venice experience. Staff was friendly; check in and check out was a breeze. Hotel is close to everything. Included breakfast was good - lots of options. Even though hotel on grand canal and main walking thoroughfare, noise was not a problem. Beds were extremely comfortable. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Would stay here again if in Venice.

The Continental was perfect for our needs. Near the train station so that we didnt have far to take our luggage and not in too touristy an area. It was right on the canal and so we were able to eat breakfast while watching the boats drive by. Wle took a water taxi from the airport (very much recommend this) and we were dropped right outside our door. All in all it exceeded expectations.

Great value and very close to Santa Lucia train station! This was the perfect place to stay and the staff are super helpful and attentive. The on property restaurants are excellent as well. Highly recommended!

Great location in Venice, near train station (short walk) on the canal. Hotel staff were great. And restuarant had good food and views. Modern ammenities, old world charm. Has elevaor but still many steps to room (due to old buildings), so hard with lots of luggage. Overall, I do recommend this hotel.

El hotel bonito y muy bien ubicado. El personal de atención en el restaurante horrible. Bastante antipáticos. En ningún momento previo al viaje contestaron ningún mail de información adicional y en el mismo hotel en diferentes ocasiones nos respondieron muy mal. Había muchas palomas comiendo sobre los platos en en desayuno. Las vistas desde el desayuno muy bonitas.
