Amazing staff, beautiful (and surprisingly) well appointed rooms and excellent gym. This would actually have been one of my fave stays, but the blinds they have installed allow for a lot of light to come into the room (probably worse on the rooms that face the sunrise).. hence when sun gets up - you’re up! Sleep quality is a big thing for a holiday so that dragged the rating down, but apart from that - a perfect accomodation

There is no lift. We are expected to carry our bags from steep stairs. Thank you to Cherie the receptionist who helped carry my big heavy bag. The passage way is right outside the room, you can hear all the rolling of the suitcases. The laundry area has no aircon neither ventilation. It’s very bad smell like urine. I didn’t see the pool despite that it was advertised in the website. There is no declaration from website that there is no lift going up the floors.

Nice modern rooms. Friendly staff. Quiet end of street. Short walk for many dining options and walking distance to the stadium. FYI - no lift, stairs only to rooms. First in best dressed for secure parking, but lots of street parking. Would recommend.

The place has been recently renovated. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. There is limited carpark on site, otherwise there is off street parking. There is a gym on ground floor with new equipment. There is a swimming pool with relaxing area and faces there sea front.

Excellent hotel, comfortable bed, mini kitchen with fridge and microwave, very small hotel room compared to us standards but it was set up extremely well, small couch, big TV, little balcony with table chair. They have a good size. Well-equipped gym. Free secured parking. Front desk staff at check-in and check out were phenomenal. This is definitely a great hotel for a good price. Easily walk to lots of food and bar places, 5 minutes. Only negative was you can hear the street noise through the balcony door and the Wi-Fi did not work due to the certificate being expired. We would definitely stay here again as this place is very clean, visiting from the US.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience in that I cut my foot on the poorly designed shower structure which is sharp and quite honestly dangerous. I am not sure how anyone could design something that badly and a huge potential safety hazard.

We could fault our stay here. The room was very compact but had absolutely everything that we needed. Even a small cooktop which is hard to come by these days without booking and apartment. The room was spotless, comfortable beds and pillows, large screen Tv with cable channel. Would definitely stay here again.

An immaculate room and cleaning service. Rooms are well kept and include large tvs, comfortable beds. It was so well looked after I could be mistaken to say it was new! Reception team were friendly , well informed and offered great information. The attached restaurant was exception both for breakfast and dinner, amazing value for money relevant to the high quality of food. Very well presented, tasty and great serving size. an asset to the hotel. The facilities are well catered with Gym, Pool , full Laundry all onsite and of high quality.

The customer service was great the room was very clean modern and included all the necessary facilities it was spacious with a kitchenette and good sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. It is located in a district with close proximity to shops and is conveniently located there are no significant landmarks but isn’t far from the beach.

The problem with this property is that there are outside lights which stay on ALL NIGHT. In fairness, my husband slept ok. I hardly slept a wink, kept thinking it was morning. I would not have been able to tolerate more than one night. They fit a lot in a small space and the staff were lovely. Bed a bit small and only had a duvet. I normally just sleep with a sheet so that didn’t help with my sleep either. Signage could also have better

We were a party of 3 staying in two rooms...they were compact, clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the fixed window electric blind allowed exterior light of common areas in around the edges. The room door had a vinyl covering over the glass which was also not light proof. If you like a dark room to sleep you might not find this so good.

Everything about our stay was terrific the staff were exceptional and congratulations to your HR people as all staff were helpful and courteous. Loved the breakfasts as we expected a continental breakfast instead of the wonderful selection that was included in the price of the room.

I had an amazing stay here! I’ve stayed in lots of gorgeous 5* hotels and this one is definitely up there. The staff couldn’t do more for you and the pool was always so quiet! Special shout out to Jasmin on reception who was so lovely and went above and beyond for anything asked of her. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be staying here! Thank you Belmoral :)

Visiting from the US, our second time staying here in the last 10 days. This hotel is awesome, 30 minute walk to the strand, clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Very quiet, washer dryer room, secured parking, staff on site 24/7, mini kitchenette. And the best part is no screaming kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Really handy to Palmer Street eateries and the city centre. Lovely bright and airy room with everything we needed. Pleased we paid a bit extra for the bigger room as we were staying 3 nights

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially the reception team. Included breakfast was delicious and the inclusion of barista coffee was a nice surprise. Bed was comfortable, great space and well thought out kitchen. Will happily stay here again when in Townsville. Thank you very much!

An immaculate room and cleaning service. Rooms are well kept and include large tvs, comfortable beds. It was so well looked after I could be mistaken to say it was new! Reception team were friendly , well informed and offered great information. The attached restaurant was exception both for breakfast and dinner, amazing value for money relevant to the high quality of food. Very well presented, tasty and great serving size. an asset to the hotel. The facilities are well catered with Gym, Pool , full Laundry all onsite and of high quality.

Quiet location at the end of Palmer street, great pub nearby. Small room , buy modern appliances and great layout. Breakfast was included which involved the restaurant nearby which had great choice of food. Only 20 min walk to Stadium. Ideally close to city for bars and restaurant. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Excellent hotel. The facilities are immaculate - we will definitely stay here again. The only downside was the double bed. It was a bit small for 2 adults (but we were aware it was a double bed when booking). Other than that, we can’t fault this hotel. It’s in a central location with many dining options within walking distance. The staff were so friendly at all times as well. The extra bonus we loved was the inclusive breakfast at Levanti. Can’t fault any of it!

Beds are too hard and too small. I’m 6ft 1 and feet totally hanging off the end of the bed as if they’ve cut them down to fit in room. Was ignored when went to get breakfast at restaurant so walked out after 10pm a of waiting for someone to serve me. Nightmare to find. Have to park outside on street and you can find a park then walk down an alley to check in. Then they direct you to the lock up car park around the back. Very inconvenient after a long drive! Will avoid next time.

Veldig bra overnattingssted. Kom tidlig på morgenen (tidlig fly fra Sydney) og fikk rommet umiddelbart. Eneste anmerkning var at d ikke var varmtvann i kjøkkenkranen.

I stayed in a studio deluxe for 3 nights with breakfast included. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette had everything I needed. The pool and pool area was beautiful and definitely a highlight. The room was on the small side but ok for me being solo for a work trip. The lighting and ambience in the room could have been better thought through. The only lights were overhead spot lights and no bedside lamps. For reading at night, and winding down before sleep, I turned off all the lights and placed my phone on the bedside with the torch on for a reading light.

Nicely renovated studio with modern amenities. Didn’t get a chance to use the lovely looking roof pool area, nor the gym. Maybe next time. Handy to have the nice Metropole pub out front and stylish Avanti cafe on site for breakfast.

When we booked we had no idea there were no lifts. Luckily the reception staff was happy to help us as we were on the 2nd floor and being in our seventies it wasn’t easy to carry baggage up many flights of stairs. They advertised the place as fully self contained apartments but they are very small and trying to cook a meal would have been a nightmare. Luckily there were a few pubs nearby. The breakfast deal of $20 per head at the nearby restaurant was great but we had issues with the new staff who didn’t understand the deal. Once sorted it was fine.
