Un très beau cadre, une vue magnifique, cet hôtel haut perché est situé au calme, dans un espace boisé tout près du centre et du château. L’accueil est impeccable même lorsque vous arrivez à minuit :-) et le petit déjeuner avec vue sur château, copieux. Que vous soyez sportif ou cherchiez un séjour tranquille, cet hôtel est pour vous !

Sehr gute Lage zum Wandern (Wartburg/ Luther Weg/ Drachenschlucht/ Eisenach), kostenlose Parkplätze. Frühstück sehr umfangreich, auch Rührei und Lachs inklusive. Zimmer mit Blick auf Wartburg war komfortabel.

We arrived from a 10 hour flight, then travelling by car another 2 hours to the hotel-only t be met with staff, not flexible enough to check us in 1 hour early-although the hotel did not appear overly busy. Our stay in August was during the heat of summer, yet the hotel has no AC (ok, not every facility is equipped with AC), but a 50 euro fan (ventilator) can be placed in each unit to accommodate the guests. At 10pm guests are being advised to move off the large patio (a patio that provides a splendid view to the Wartburg castle-and the only reason why we selected this hotel over any other). Bar service stopped prior 10pm (acceptable), but being told to move inside is not.

Front desk staff were very accommodating and professional. Restaurant dinner and breakfast were excellent. If you are headed to Wartburg Castle, it is a 1km walk through the woods on a wide, well maintained trail that is relatively flat...beautiful!

3. gang vi var her. En rigtig lækker placering med unik udsigt. Gode værelser og badeværelset - rent og pænt. Godt mad Morgenbuffet kunne være lidt mere lækker. Tjenerne kunne godt opsøge os ved bordene og spørge om vi ønsker mere f.eks. at drikke. (Frem i skolen :-)

Rimeligt godt ophold. Kun koldt vand om morgenen, så træls bad. Åbenbart ikke unormalt for stedet da der i receptionen var et skilt på 3 sprog, som fortalte de godt vidste det.

The most deceiving hotel experience: the room was without blinds or airco (too dry air), strong old odour, poor breakfast and no room service or food in the evening. Also hotel tried to charge extra 50(!)euro for a child bed which was included in the booking price and offered no apologies when the issue was finally settled… poor service for a wonderful location with great views

Schönes Hotel mit direktem Blick auf die Wartburg. Es führt ein direkter Wanderweg von dorthin zur Burg. Das Zimmer lag in einem Nebengebäude das nur über einige Treppen erreichbar war. Die Zimmer waren in einem sauberen Zustand und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der Weg zum Hotel führt über eine steile Kopfsteinpflasterstraße.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön und sehr ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Möbel im Zimmer (wir hatten die günstigste Variante ausgewählt) waren schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dennoch haben wir sehr gut geschlafen und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Preis-Leistingsverhältnis war top. Vielen Dank an das ganze Hotelteam.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön und sehr ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Möbel im Zimmer (wir hatten die günstigste Variante ausgewählt) waren schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dennoch haben wir sehr gut geschlafen und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Schönes Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick auf die Wartburg. Das Hotel ist außerhalb der Stadt auf einem Berg gelegen, daher bei Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nicht zu empfehlen.

Un très beau cadre haut perché quasi en pleine nature mais quand même dans la ville, avec une vue imprenable sur le château, ce sont les valeurs sûres que nous retrouvons tous les ans à notre passage. Mais par-dessus tout, on admire la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel !

The hotel is located in a beautiful hill, and had a view to the Wartburg Castle. That alone is enough to justify our stay in the facility. The restaurant has good food, but service is a bit tardy.

Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Man sollte aber bei der Reservierung auf die Anreise hinweisen, dass sich diese, aufgrund der Straßenverhältnisse und Steigungen als "anspruchsvoll" gestalten könnte. Ansonste ein schönes Haus, mit einem grandiosen Ausblick auf die Wartburg.

Sehr gute Lage zum Wandern (Wartburg/ Luther Weg/ Drachenschlucht/ Eisenach), kostenlose Parkplätze. Frühstück sehr umfangreich, auch Rührei und Lachs inklusive. Zimmer mit Blick auf Wartburg war komfortabel.

Schönes Hotel mit direktem Blick auf die Wartburg. Es führt ein direkter Wanderweg von dorthin zur Burg. Das Zimmer lag in einem Nebengebäude das nur über einige Treppen erreichbar war. Die Zimmer waren in einem sauberen Zustand und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der Weg zum Hotel führt über eine steile Kopfsteinpflasterstraße.

3. gang vi var her. En rigtig lækker placering med unik udsigt. Gode værelser og badeværelset - rent og pænt. Godt mad Morgenbuffet kunne være lidt mere lækker. Tjenerne kunne godt opsøge os ved bordene og spørge om vi ønsker mere f.eks. at drikke. (Frem i skolen :-)

Un très beau cadre, une vue magnifique, cet hôtel haut perché est situé au calme, dans un espace boisé tout près du centre et du château. L’accueil est impeccable même lorsque vous arrivez à minuit :-) et le petit déjeuner avec vue sur château, copieux. Que vous soyez sportif ou cherchiez un séjour tranquille, cet hôtel est pour vous !

Sehr nettes Ambiente. Top Service beim Esses, sehr saubere Zimmer. Frühstück durchschnittlich aber OK. Preis Leistung fand ich sehr gut, gerne wieder wenn ich in der Gegend bin.

Schönes Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Wartburg. Essen und Service waren gut. Leider Schade, dass es Lieferschwierigkeiten gab und somit nicht alle Gerichte von der Speisekarte gab.

Parking was easy, however you might have to struggle against hikers parking there for the trek to Wartburg Castle. Highlights are the killer views of the valley & of Wartburg perched on the opposing hill from the cafe, and the wonderful breakfast that comes with the booking. It was an excellent spread. Well done. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. But clean.
