Ira by Orchid probably is the best hotel in Ayodhya. I was visiting from out of country along with older parents by car. From check-in to parking to elevators to room service to on site restaurant, everything was perfect! The staff is very attentive and caring. The location is 15-20 away from the main Ram Janam Bhoomi Temple but this is actually an advantage because the temple area is very crowded and cars were not allowed within 1 KM of the temple. Food was great, in particular the breakfast buffet.

The parking is in open, although it is under the CCTV cover.

Access is bad from the other side of the highway. The area around is not very nice. A half constructed building stands a few feet from the hotel so you can’t even open your curtains. And the views are terrible. Staff were nice and tried to be helpful. The rooms had clean linens, but the bathroom exhaust didn’t work and so the bathroom and the whole room felt damp. The rooms were not well soundproofed and all the Highway noise and ruckus created by other guests disturbed us all night. Not good value for money. Not a convenient location. Will not recommend it.

This property is not four stars. No pools at the property. No views. After taking the shower water was all over in bathroom.

Some basics have been missed out during check-in. Wi-fi login and pswd were not provided and had to call from room. A simple note with login information would have made it easier for us. Washroom sink was blocked, hair dryer was not working and had to call the front desk multiple times but never received a working hair dryer. Room and bathroom were clean. Caution: Make sure to check the directions when using google maps ( do not use the inner roads)in case e-auto driver does not know the directions to this hotel. Restaurant food was good. Customer service matters after paying so much for the stay.

The driver stayed with us and dropped us back safely for a nominal charge. This personalized, problem-solving service was deeply appreciated. ​Furthermore, the manager personally greeted us and gifted each of us a lovely orange scarf with the image of Ram—a thoughtful, spiritual gesture. ​Dining Experience ​The food was very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering wide variety. Waiters were consistently helpful and prompt. ​Final Verdict ​I highly recommend Ira by Orchid. Very limited choices in Ayodhya, so chose this one. Mistake! Room smelled of urine, bathroom drain problems and also bell boy that delivered only our hand luggage wouldn't leave room. He wanted bigger tip? Extremely rude and wrong! We tipped him well enough, however they see foreigners and the expectation is too high! Complained to front desk about drain issues - nothing done, just sent person with squeegee to clean off not out drain? Stay away, choose another option.

Bathrooms were dated.Breakfast had very limited varieties and on top of that were not replenished for 30 minutes. For the location and service and quality of service, hotel was extremely expansive. I selected hotel based on the high price in hope that hotel will have good quality but it totally disappointed. Please invest in remodelling bathrooms

My flight was cancelled by spicejet on Tuesday February 25, 2025 due to over crowded people in Ayodhya, I have messaged the hotel if they can postpone my hotel night for one day , hotel refused to do so . I have lost $180.00 USD hotel said no changes allowed , I told them it was not my fault still they refused . SpiceJet messed up my trip I couldn’t go to KHUM MELA . And lost so much money ….

this is an excellent hotel to visit this sacred city. modern with nice rooms and very friendly staff. Over and above this, the hotel has a fabulous on site restaurant with excellent breakfast and dinner - we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Very Helpful staff. Airport pickup and drop off. We stayed for one night to tour Ayodhya. We didn't have any tours planned, but after speaking to the staff, we were advised that a rickshaw to Ram Temple was the best option and they called us a rickshaw. This wasn't any extra service that we had to pay for. We agreed on our tour price directly with the rickshaw. Very good experience.

Ira by Orchid Ayodhya was an awesome choice our family made for the Ayodhya trip. We had a wonderful time. All the staff at this property are amazing and excellent across the spectrum from Front Desk to House Keeping to Restaurant and the Conceirge. The guidance and help offered to our family from US was just very good, kind and sincere. The staff make you feel at home. Highly recommend this Property for those visting Ayodhya from India and from abroad or US.

We booked this hotel for overnight stay on Dec 26, 2024. The hotel is a great property, well maintained, and very comfortable. Their dinner hours are 6:30pm to 10:30pm. This was very comfortable, particularly with a late night return from the Ayodhya Dhaam. The chef Vinod was a pleasure to talk to. The panchmel daal and dahi kabab were awesome. The bedrooms were comfortable and well stocked. We had to ask for shower towels and the staff responded promptly. The only downside is that it is a bit away from all the Ayodhya action. It was about a 30 mins drive to temple in the afternoon. This was primarily be cause of traffic and so the driver had to take inner streets. We had to organize a e-rickshaw pickup for an early morning visit to the temple and hotel staff helped out with that. That drive took ~10 mins. If you want to have a comfortable stay in Ayodhya then this is your place. If you want to be in the center of action and around Mandir then you may consider an alternative. I know I will look at options next time but this would be a safe fall back.

Let's start with staff, they gave excellent service. Food was excellent, on our booking it stated we can buy breakfast for 500 rupees each person. At restaurant we were changed 750 rupees plus tex Total was almost 1800 rupees for 2 people. We didn't say anything to restaurant manger but went to front desk. They told us it's if we pay in advance, we didn't argue since breakfast was excellent. I think it's miss leading to customers. We did see some mosquitoes on our first night stay, but they took care of it. On our next stay after returning from Varanasi there was not any mosquitoes. Hotel was clean, people were very pleasant and food was excellent. The price was little higher. Srounding area was not pleasant which I understand it was not bothering us. I personally think the price was little higher than what it should be. We stayed on 12 th. and 14 th. Night.
