Rented this with some college friends for a reunion, house was great and setting was lovely. Close to town and easy to access things. Hot tub was great. Best part was the large common areas for hanging out!

We were a big crowd of friends, 7 families. The house was very nice and fit us all. Had a lot of serveware and pans though we brought and used our own. Everything was just as mentioned. The view is great though we were a bit past peak. The communication with the host was easy. The amenities like poker, pool table etc were very good. A suggestion would be to replace the pool table cues to smaller ones so it would be easier to move around and play.

We were a group of 5 couples with children, family and friends. With our group of 18 people, there was still plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. You can practically stay at the property your whole stay, which we did for Labor Day weekend. We fished, used the game room, relaxed on the porch and swing, used the propane grill. We had a great time with our whole crew and the whole party wants to come back every year if we can. Your home was clean and very inviting. Thank you for a great stay, will definitely recommend for any big group looking to get away and have a nice weekend together.

We had several issues unfortunately. The host was responsive, however, it was one thing after another. Not what I expect from a horse that cost $3k for a long weekend. The hot tub never worked. When we were searching for a place, we specifically were looking for a hot tub so to find out it didn’t work and there was not a way to fix it during our stay was a major problem. Two toilets didn’t work -they eventually were fixed. There was no propane. By the time we got some, one of the group already went and bought some. More issues but I’m not trying to nitpick. Overall, the house was beautiful but needs upkeep. It was not tended to well.

I had my bachelor party here (19 of us in total) and it was a great spot. No one was brave enough to go in the pond, but it looked nice and we took advantage of the hot tub, the fire pit, and all of the lawn games/the pool table/shuffleboard. The upper porch area overlooking the pond was a great spot to relax. My only complaint would be that the house no longer has the 100” theater in the basement that is shown in the listing, but the TV down there is still plenty big and the owner provided a replacement third TV so we were still able to hook up a bunch of Xboxes to play Halo together. The internet works but isn’t great, especially for 19 people (under 100 mbs), but that’s to be expected in that area. Would highly recommend for a big group looking for a place to hang for a weekend.

The house was very nice and exactly how it looked in the pictures. We would definitely stay there again, but we did encounter a few minor issues.Overall, we found the house to be clean when we arrived, but soon discovered that all of the pots and pans in the cabinets were dirty. Everyone we used had to be washed before use. There was visible stuck on food and sheens of oil on the pans.The other issue we had was when we first booked the house, we were told that we had to supply our own bath towels bc the house didn’t come with them. Then about a week before we checked in, we received an updated message stating that towels WOULD be provided. Once we checked in though, we discovered that there were no towels to be found anywhere in the house. We were then forced to go purchase enough towels for the 16 people staying in the house.Lastly, the wood floors are beautiful, but make a lot of noise. Not sure if it’s an installation issue or what, but there was no being quiet when moving about the house. It became very disruptive at night when anyone would get up to use the bathroom or move in the hallway. The whole house heard it and woke up.

We had a lovely time - there were four families who stayed in the house and there was plenty of space for all of us. The property was very clean and everything worked as expected - we had no issues at all. For those who are booking this for the lake view you should know that you cannot really see the lake through the overgrown trees. Once on the lake though (we brought our own boats/kayaks) it was as shown in the pictures.

House is nice enough, big open floor plan and lots of bedrooms but a little neglected and listing isn’t 100% accurate. Sent two emails via VRBO and didn’t get responses to them. Six bedrooms listed as having one full and one twin when one had only two twins and we needed all the bed space so that left a person on the couch. Hoped to use the shuffleboard but there was no sand so we couldn’t. Also, thermostat set at 75 degrees and in a locked case so we couldn’t lower it. Several significant light bulbs out and none on premises. House in general need of a serious cleaning and some repairs. Still, family had a good time. Only there two nights. Close to shopping.

Owners of the property were very nice we showed early, but they still allowed us in the house. They were very nice me and my friends, even helped one of my friends get their keys out of their car after locking them in the trunk. We throughly enjoyed the lake, and the lower floor. It was clean and ready to go, I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for an escape from the hustle of normal life.( also there is paddle boats and a kayak was very happy to see them there they are not in the pictures)

Had an absolute great time with friends for a little weekend get away. The view of the lake was great and the photos did not do this place justice at all. It was super spacious and easily accommodated 16 people. There was leftover firewood, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies which we payed forward with what we had left. The owners were super responsive when we had a question and were super friendly. I wish we had more time to spend there, I cannot stress how great the property was. The only downside I would say was there were dishes, pots, and utensils that were dirty from prior use and we had to clean a bunch of things to use. Other than that, none of us had any complaints!

Overall great stay! The layout is very nice and very lodgy as you would expect. Great view from exterior and very refreshing. The noice to the below rooms are noticeable when walking. Outside of that all good!

The house was perfect for a group of friends. The living areas were large and open for a group. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. One of our favorites was the back porch. Overall, it was a great home.

It became very disruptive at night when anyone would get up to use the bathroom or move in the hallway. The whole house heard it and woke up.
The house was very nice and exactly how it looked in the pictures. We would definitely stay there again, but we did encounter a few minor issues.Overall, we found the house to be clean when we arrived, but soon discovered that all of the pots and pans in the cabinets were dirty. Everyone we used had to be washed before use. There was visible stuck on food and sheens of oil on the pans.The other issue we had was when we first booked the house, we were told that we had to supply our own bath towels bc the house didn’t come with them. Then about a week before we checked in, we received an updated message stating that towels WOULD be provided. Once we checked in though, we discovered that there were no towels to be found anywhere in the house. We were then forced to go purchase enough towels for the 16 people staying in the house.Lastly, the wood floors are beautiful, but make a lot of noise. Not sure if it’s an installation issue or what, but there was no being quiet when moving about the house. We were a big crowd of friends, 7 families. The house was very nice and fit us all. Had a lot of serveware and pans though we brought and used our own. Everything was just as mentioned. The view is great though we were a bit past peak. The communication with the host was easy. The amenities like poker, pool table etc were very good. A suggestion would be to replace the pool table cues to smaller ones so it would be easier to move around and play.

House is nice enough, big open floor plan and lots of bedrooms but a little neglected and listing isn’t 100% accurate. Sent two emails via VRBO and didn’t get responses to them. Six bedrooms listed as having one full and one twin when one had only two twins and we needed all the bed space so that left a person on the couch. Hoped to use the shuffleboard but there was no sand so we couldn’t. Also, thermostat set at 75 degrees and in a locked case so we couldn’t lower it. Several significant light bulbs out and none on premises. House in general need of a serious cleaning and some repairs. Still, family had a good time. Only there two nights. Close to shopping.

We had several issues unfortunately. The host was responsive, however, it was one thing after another. Not what I expect from a horse that cost $3k for a long weekend. The hot tub never worked. When we were searching for a place, we specifically were looking for a hot tub so to find out it didn’t work and there was not a way to fix it during our stay was a major problem. Two toilets didn’t work -they eventually were fixed. There was no propane. By the time we got some, one of the group already went and bought some. More issues but I’m not trying to nitpick. Overall, the house was beautiful but needs upkeep. It was not tended to well.

My family and I went to the Poconos to take my son snow tubing for the first time. Unfortunately because of a reservation mistake I made, we weren't able to go tubing. But we still had the best time because of this VRBO stay! There was so much to do in the house, the hot tub, the games, just relaxing and enjoying the view on the balcony. It was so beautiful here, we even had a great snow day!! The owners were so prompt with communication and they were the nicest people ever. We would love to come again and would recommend staying here to anyone!

Owners of the property were very nice we showed early, but they still allowed us in the house. They were very nice me and my friends, even helped one of my friends get their keys out of their car after locking them in the trunk. We throughly enjoyed the lake, and the lower floor. It was clean and ready to go, I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for an escape from the hustle of normal life.( also there is paddle boats and a kayak was very happy to see them there they are not in the pictures)

Had an absolute great time with friends for a little weekend get away. The view of the lake was great and the photos did not do this place justice at all. It was super spacious and easily accommodated 16 people. There was leftover firewood, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies which we payed forward with what we had left. The owners were super responsive when we had a question and were super friendly. I wish we had more time to spend there, I cannot stress how great the property was. The only downside I would say was there were dishes, pots, and utensils that were dirty from prior use and we had to clean a bunch of things to use. Other than that, none of us had any complaints!

Rented this with some college friends for a reunion, house was great and setting was lovely. Close to town and easy to access things. Hot tub was great. Best part was the large common areas for hanging out!

We enjoyed staying in your home. It was furnished as it was listed. The only reason we would not stay again is the location. It was quiet, however, we would have preferred to be closer to the slopes. Also, for the price of the rental, perhaps you could consider extending the check out time. 10AM is quite early for check out.

Property was a great location. Right on the lake. Big enough for extended family of 15 plus 2 dogs. If your are looking for a great place to enjoy a long weekend with all the family, this is the spot. Also, everything was accurate as far as listing details and pictures from the website. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

The first night started off a bit rocky due to a power outage, but the power was restored after a few hours. The host was very responsive and even offered reimbursement if the power hadn’t come back, which we truly appreciated. We chose to stay and enjoyed the rest of our time.The hot tub was nice and hot, and the rooms were clean and spacious. There were a few minor issues: two lamps did not work, possibly due to missing or burnt-out bulbs, and the electric fireplace heater in one room was not functioning. We also noticed some previously damaged floor tiles on the lower level and shower tiles in the master bath that appeared to have been poorly repaired.Overall, the cabin is beautiful, roomy, and comfortable, and we had an enjoyable stay despite the small maintenance issues.
