The breakfast that was included at the property was the highlight! Check in was slow and no concierge onsite to help with bags. Charged an additional $10 for parking when I was previously told it was included in the rate. The rooms are tired and the bed was very old. The room over looked the car park and I booked a 1 bedroom spa suite!

Great location, facilities were excellent in the rooms. Everything you need, full fridge, dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and lounge area was all we needed. Parking is convenient, although the spaces are tight. This worked for us as our hire car was small, I wouldn’t want to park a larger car in there.

Unfortunately was left disappointed after our stay. Facilities are very run down and tired. Room was dusty with old mismatched furniture. The lounge was pushed up against the door to the bedroom which made it difficult to access. Only given the option of two very old and tired pillows that were also very uncomfortable and dusty. Ended up with bites either from dust mites or bed bugs but either way very displeasing and not a good combination for a decent nights sleeps. Not really sure that the hotel warrants a 4 star rating.

One bedroom suite was good for what we needed. Bathroom was modern and clean and kitchenette was handy to have - bit odd to have the tiny separate toilet though. Only complaint is that the bedroom is not truly separate from the living area as it doesn’t have a door. City Park is great to have about 10 mins walk away.

The room was actually an apartment, and was well equipped. The kitchen had everything we might have needed incl fridge, microwave, cooktop, sink, plates, utensils, pots and pans. The bathroom even included a washer and dryer that worked beautifully (incl washing soap), so we arrived home with clean clothes. Need was comfortable, WiFi was fast, TV was smart. Everything was really good

I travel a lot throughout Australia. The Sebel in Launceston has, by far, the best customer service of any place I have stayed in over the past eighteen months. All staff are genuinely attentive and helpful. It is clear through their interactions with guests that they really do want you to have a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sebel Launceston. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The washer and dryer proved to be very useful and the small utility unit is cleverly designed with a small hob, microwave and so on. It also had an extractor fan which made it usable in a way many such units are not because of in room smoke detectors. The Sebel is a short walk from town and the river and the surrounding area felt safe. Next time we stay in Launceston we shall stay at the Sebel again.

We stayed five nights while the hotel is in a good position to walk around the city the rooms lack any character, bright blaring lights uncomfortable sofa and minimal furnishing offer only a functional stay. The restaurant seems to function as a separate entity, there's no other coffee shop in the hotel and breakfast is menu only. Staff are friendly but can only do so much.

Good place and location. Friendly staff. A few noises within the structure of the hotel that made it slightly uncomfortable but other than that it was acceptable.

The room was very clean and had all we needed. The only thing missing was robes, but that’s not a deal breaker. Beautiful bathroom 😍 Bed was comfortable. The only downsides - minor - was that the room was cold when we entered. It would have been a nice touch for the room to be warm. Also, the hallway was very cold. Never had this at a hotel before. Staff were excellent and the Bluestonw Kitchen had beautiful food 😍
