The Quebecs is a gorgeous building , extremely well kept. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. It is on a pedestrianised street. So have to park up then walk to it, but its quite central. Plenty of car parks within a 5 minute walk. Also a stones through from leeds train station.

Lovely hotel. 1st lady on reception was very nice , if you arrive by car between 12-1pm you will get a space at hotel (approx 8 car spaces £20 per night ) . It is a barrier entrance so need to spk to reception to lift. Train station across the rd so ideal area, with fab bars / restaurants too, and 10-15 walk to main shops . Room was so nice , very elegant and clean. We had a drink in the hotel bar , never again ! The guy behind bar was miserable, kept saying he wanted to go home , would not put on any music as he’s sick of it hearing same stuff , very negative all round . All staff otherwise in hotel were so lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fab , good choice and pleasant eating area . Loved our trip to Leeds

One of Leed's hidden gems, in a great location for the station and the city centre. This historic building provides spacious rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable about what to see and do in the city. The bar is enjoyable and also has a great menu of food. I'll definitely stay there again.

Lovely room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The use of a health centre was good but it doesn’t have a spa and the pool closes at 6.30 on a Saturday. More breakfast teabags would have been appreciated but the fresh milk was nice to have.

Lovely hotel. Staff very welcoming. Amazing breakfast. Central location. Close to tratin station. Parking limited but mutli storey not too far away. Would stay again. Perfect for us.

Lovely building and amazing bedrooms, staff have been so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is cooked to order which you don’t get in many places now and is very good. They only do in room food but they do not charge room service/tray charge. Perfect location and close to station couldn’t be better. would definately stay here again when back in Leeds. Special thanks to Caroline the Manager for looking after us.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, a central location (with parking!) and a bar that’s open until much later than I can stay awake. The off site spa, gym & pool is also excellent. Overall, a really good stay, the staff are exceptional. The rooms have a few quirks, old widow frames that can be tricky to close, which can lead to noise from outside. The Saturday night was particularly tricky, we felt like we were on top of a club.

Stayed in one of the suites. Room was really big, with bed on mezzanine level. Really comfortable. Bar area a lot smaller than it looks on pictures but still nice and staff were really nice too Great location Only negative would be the parking, it states parking available onsite but its a very small area down the side of the hotel which does not park many cars at all. Had to use a nearby Qpark with a discount code provided by hotel, was only a 5 min walk away.

An interesting building, with period features, room was very nice. Breakfast is cooked to order options with continental style buffet. On point is Parking, I booked the hotel some time ago (possibly 6 months ago), at the time I checked the website of the hotel which mentioned to park at a Q-Park public car park and have my ticket validated by the hotel to secure a discount on the standard £32 / night parking. THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE, there is a QR code on a shelf nowhere near the reception that allows you to pre-book the said parking (pretty useless if you are checking out). I was not asked if I had a car or had parked in their parking partner (Q-Park) facility at check-in, and having the 5x7 Framed QR Code on a shelf halfway up the lobby entrance and not near the check-in desk is not helpful at all !

Hugely enjoyed my stay. I am a clean freak so the only reason for a missing star on cleanliness was a few carpet stains and an area behind a bedside lamp where the wall was dirty from some kind of spill. But it was hard to see so likely just missed. The staff are amazing and very welcoming and the rooms are absolutely amazing. So unique and comfortable. I absolutely plan to stay here again next time I am in town.

Lovely hotel and very well kept. Staff exceptionally friendly and even offered and upgrade to a larger room for a few but we were happy with our choice on this occasion. Will definitely be going back. Very happy there thanks.

Great old building. Very conveniently located for the train station. And seem to be close to lots of restaurants and other things too. Had a room up on the top floor, which meant it was under the eaves, so some very low ceilings and beams to work around. Rather a nasty looking stain on the bed valance, but otherwise seem very clean. Breakfast was not included with the room but was pleasant enough.

We were told parking at the hotel was £20 per night, however when we arrived we were then told their park was full so had to go to Q Park and pay £30 per night…. The air conditioning vents were dirty and full of mould, and the room/chair/curtains were quite dusty. The dining options within the hotel were terrible, however you can easily walk to some fantastic restaurants. The staff were not particularly friendly, but they weren’t too bad. Overall very average stay, but good location.

The room was clean, very spacious and very comfortable. The furniture is a bit out-dated for the type of room as well as the TV. However, for the price and location this was not a big negative. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in room 410, it was a beautiful room, lovely decor & finish, a very good size too. Comfortable bed & bedding, the pillows were far to soft for our liking though. We were slightly dubious about potential noise as the room was next to the lift & across from the kitchen but it was surprisingly quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean, modern with historical charm, comfortable and a good size. Rooms are nice and quiet. No sound from other rooms or the street below - even in a busy Saturday evening.

Odd hotel. Check in process was tedious. Room was comfortable but old fashioned and tatty, I suspect there were much nicer ones in the hotel. It was a hot day and the window had been left over so not nice when I first entered - air con was slow to work, but got there after a couple of hours. Bathroom was small and old. Check out was another laborious experience. Overall, would not rush back until they modernise and update their rooms.

Wonderful welcome as ever, kindly upgraded by the Quebecs team to a wonderful room. I love this hotel and stay periodically. It’s got an old school charm and feel which I love. The decor is classy, if in need of a bit of love given the age of the hotel. My last stay unfortunately was plagued with noise externally which was beyond the hotel’s control. Late night cleaning of the bar next to the hotel and bottles being emptied into large bins, then around 4.15am I was woken by a large articulated vehicle’s reversing announcements and then further bottle emptying of bins, crashing and smashing. Such a shame as the hotel is wonderful but my sleep was quite disrupted.

Had an overnight stay. Had a lovely welcome Room was 407, nicely appointed room, although TV needs updating. The room was uncomfortably warm We tried to turn the air con down but had no effect. Tried opening windows but they seemed locked. Rang reception was told to turn air con off for 60 seconds and then back on, it should reset itself ! This also did not work, as still blowing out hot air, 2nd time of ringing, sent engineer, who turn it off. He then proceeded to wrestle the window open. So they were not locked just extremely stiff. Anyway once could get some fresh air into the room things improved. The highlight of the hotel is the bar and Dave the barman !

Room was beautiful and very spacious. Bed was so comfy. All staff we engaged with were extremely friendly and helpful. Central location with easy access to all shops, bars and train station. Would definitely stay here again. One tiny criticism TV in room was so small, it was like trying to watch TV on a laptop.

Beautiful hotel, lots of lovely orginal features, Lovely large room, robes and slippers, perfect location very close to station and shopping. The bed was very comfy, pillows very thin, would have asked for more but it was a little late so just wanted to get our heads down. We had breakfast which was fine, the room where it was served lacked atmosphere and felt a little akward as we ate in silence. Some quiet background music would have helped this. Some noise in our room but to be expected on a city centre break. We must have been facing a bar at the back of the hotel as we heard bottles and some music until very late but didnt spoil our stay. I would have given more stars if it wasnt for the fact we were asked to pay a £50 holding charge when we checked in. This is not unusual and I didnt question at the time. The money came straight out of my bank which wasnt convenient on a weekend shopping trip. We are now over a week since our stay and the funds still not have been returned. I have contacted my bank who confirmed that this type of transaction can take upto 30 days to be paid back by the vendor. I must say this has tainted our stay and I would probably think twice about booking again, such a shame when we had already paid for our hotel in full via the app.

Nice hotel, however it is dated and looks tired. No restaurant on site. Breakfast was nice but nothing special. Check inn is slow as there’s paperwork to be filled out with information already provided at time of booking. Normally stay at another hotel above the train station in Leeds, it’s the same price and offers better value for money.

Incredible last minute stay. Caroline and her reception team were so welcoming, friendly and polite. 100% went the extra mile for us. Dave on the bar was brilliant too and entertained me and the wife before we went out in the evening. Fantastic hotel.. Would absolutely stay again

Lovely hotel in a great location. I had a large and fantastic room. Breakfast was slightly disappointing. What was very disappointing was the apparently strict rule about waiting to 15:00 to check in! I would be very surprised to learn that my room was not ready at 14:35? I would happily stay here again but ensure I arrived after 15:00.

Service was very good. Cups were used and kettle filled with old water when i arrived. There was no mention of paying £50 when i turned up to cover any use of facilities, mini bar etc. This also took about 8 days to be returned which was a pain but overall it was a pleasant stay and would still consider staying again.

Can't praise Quebecs Hotel and the staff highly enough. They were super helpful and friendly for start to end of our weekend stay. Extra kudos to Caroline, who went above and beyond to get us a table at a fully booked restaurant. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Another excellent stay at Quebecs. Very convenient from train station. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Room was very good - spacious and comfortable. Had a very good nights sleep. I’ve already booked to stay again.

The Quebecs is a gorgeous building , extremely well kept. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. It is on a pedestrianised street. So have to park up then walk to it, but its quite central. Plenty of car parks within a 5 minute walk. Also a stones through from leeds train station.

I love staying at Quebec's, the staff are really friendly, always above and beyond, the rooms are so beautiful and it's lovely and quiet despite being in the centre. Location is convenient for me getting early morning trains as it only takes me 5 minutes to get from my room to the platform.

Leeds city is fast becoming the worst place to be driving a car When we finally reached our hotel it was absolutely divine. Reception was welcoming and professional, our room was clean and so comfortable, the barman was entertaining and informative, the breakfast was the best we've experienced in a hotel and the staff member who served us was so charming. We'd have no problem recommending The Quebecs to anyone visiting Leeds, just make sure your sat nav maps are updated.

Somehow the street right outside the hotel was blocked off so the area was really quiet at night which was good. Located within 5mins of the train station and 10mins off the main shopping and walking district. Air conditioning in room was abit on the warm side though.

What a great hotel. Would definitely stay again. Quiet spot in Leeds, no traffic noise at all but still close to all shops and bars. Super comfy bed. Could have slept all day too! Massive bathroom. Paid a bit more for deluxe double as we wanted bigger bed. Great value. Delicious breakfast. Would absolutely recommend.

Everything was fine, a lovely hotel and a lovely room, very comfy and clean. Nice decor and conveniently located, great value for money. Staff were really friendly. The breakfast wasn't great though, a little bit basic, especially the coffee.

Been here many times visiting Leeds for work. If I can get in here I will. Central to city centre but tucked away enough to be quiet. Close to the station as well. Standards are lovely the the breakfast is really worth the hype.

Beautiful building. We got an upgrade which was lovely. The room was big the only problem was that it was a little bit too warm. The bed was comfortable. The staff on reception were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was okay. Continental not great and I had to ask for fruit and yogurt. Cooked food was of good quality. The position of the hotel is very good. Within walking distance of everything in the city centre. Would stay again and would recommend.

Reception staff were wonderful nothing was too much at all, special thanks to one of the ladies I didn’t catch her name! my stay was just brilliant and the bed was the comfiest Iv ever slept on (I stay in a lot of hotels) ! Will definitely stay again next time I visit Leeds! Thanks for making my stay faultless ❤️❤️

Very friendly on arrival. We got offered an upgrade for a small extra cost as the lift was out of order. We needed different pillows which was sorted very quickly along with ice bucket. Bed was very comfy bathroom facilities was fabulous. We come to leeds alot and will definitely be staying again.

I have nothing emotional to say so I will leave my purely fact based review: This hotel is very well located. The staff are very kind. It is a historic hotel that was erected in 1890. But with the word historic sometimes comes “rundown.” specifically, inside the rooms, the carpeting is old, and although the bathrooms are renovated, the rest of the room shows age and not in a charming Victorian way. I stayed in the Robinson suite. As I walked past the other rooms to get to my suite, they all appeared quite small. I would certainly feel claustrophobic in one of them. On my arrival, it was told that the elevators were down. I was assured this was only the second time in the past 20 years that they were down. Getting up to the fifth floor was quite a hike (fyi for someone with a knee issue or older) but I didn’t mind that . Also keep in mind there are no A/Cs.
