Really comfy room, bed and lovely shower. Breakfast could have been better and the coffee was atrocious. Shame that we weren't able to get a good coffee in the early hours or any drinks at all.

When we checked into the room, the temperature was comfortable and the air conditioning appeared to be working correctly. It was set to 18°C, and we were able to have an afternoon sleep before going out for dinner. We returned to the hotel at approximately 9:21 pm and switched the air conditioning back on. However, within about an hour, we noticed that the system was no longer cooling the room and appeared to be blowing warm air instead. The temperature in the room became increasingly uncomfortable. By approximately 1:00 am, neither my wife nor I were able to sleep because of the heat. I therefore contacted reception to report the problem. I would like to acknowledge that the reception/manager who dealt with us was very polite and helpful and did their best to assist. We were offered a fan and a bucket of ice. Unfortunately, these measures did not resolve the underlying problem, which was the failure of the room's air conditioning. We also attempted to open the window to allow cooler air into the room. However, due to the design of the window, very little outside air could enter and this did not make a meaningful difference. By approximately 4:00 am, we were still awake and had been unable to get proper sleep. At around 5:00 am, we noticed that the air conditioning appeared to be working again, and we were finally able to get approximately four hours of sleep before having to get up and leave the hotel.
