The concierge team was so helpful when it came to booking excursions and even an in-home massage!! The location is perfect! The neighborhood is safe, clean and perfect to live short or long term. The home was clean and offered everything we needed for a week stay. We highly recommend using the provided beach chairs, driving 1 min to Poipu beach for the sunset, and watching the sea turtles come right to you!The outdoor shower and comfortable bed are two notable benefits to booking here! We will be back for sure!

Quiet, safe neighborhood situated near restaurants and shops and short walk to the ocean! We were kindly welcomed with a bottle of wine, cookies and a Bouquet, a very nice touch! Comfortable bed and just the right size gor 2! The garage is definitely a perk, and we had a remote and vode for easy access. They also sipplied a nice size cooler, beach chairs and umbrella! There's a water hose that we used to wash the red dirt off our hiking boots! Nearby is a walking path that guides you through some beautiful scenery next to a golf course. My husband fell in love with the outdoor shower! The only negative was the television reception was often poor, but, management was very responsive and attempted to solve this problem. We, of course, weren't here for tv so definitely didn't ruin our stay! They were very quick to respond to all our requests. Overall an exceptional property and location! We would stay here again!

Just finished an awesome stay here. Family included 6 adults and two kids (7 and 5) and the house was set up perfectly with shared and private space for everyone! The communications from the host was excellent with very concise information on the check-in process and the amenities offered. The house was super clean/ well kept and provisioned well with all the necessities- kitchen and bathroom supplies, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels. It's in a very central location with easy access to the beach and walking distance to numerous shops/restaurants in the area. The pool was a big bonus and the grandkids loved spending afternoon time in the water. Definitely would plan on another stay here!

This home is fabulous. Well maintained. Spotless, and very open to family gathering and enjoying time together. The neighborhood is beautiful, wonderful area to go for a run or leisurely walk. Quick walk to beaches. Plenty of restaurants and shopping, only was a short drive away. Enjoyed the inviting pool and large deck, we enjoyed sharing meals, sitting to visit or play games on the large deck. The bedrooms were large with bathrooms suites for all quests. Loved having a garage to park in. Well stocked with towels, beach chairs and all kitchen items needed to prepare meals. So great to also have a washer and dryer... We loved this home and would highly recommend to anyone. We would definitely stay here again

This house was everything we wanted and more! Spacious with a perfect layout, we enjoyed a comfortable stay for all 7 of us. The pool was a perfect afternoon activity for our toddler and the location made getting to and and from local spots a breeze! This was an absolutely perfect house!

This is probably my favorite home I've ever rented, though it's also the most expensive! We loved how clean and new everything was. For a group of adults traveling, it was nice having king beds in all rooms and similar, beautiful decor. Apart from the bathrooms, all were pretty equal rooms and all bathrooms were excellent (2 rooms share a jack & jill and the other 2 rooms have en suite). I will note there is no a/c in the main room and kitchen - we had a couple days where the heat outside made this a bit uncomfortable. All the bedrooms had individual a/c units and were cool. The neighborhood and pool were lovely and the home is centrally located. We knew the pool was being serviced on Tuesday, but were surprised when the workers shared that we could not swim for a few days after it was being treated. Not sure how frequently this happens. Would absolutely stay here again with the right group and splurge budget.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us on our honeymoon! Amenities were great (washer/dryer was extremely useful). Bathroom was also nice—the shower was noteworthy. Everything was well stocked from welcome gifts and wine openers to utensils and coffee. The bed was a little finicky, hut we ended up taking off the foam topper which helped a lot. Prime location too! Poipu and Kōloa are awesome places to be on the island!!!

The Kiahuna Golf club was very close by and it was easy to book a time and play at the reduced twilight rate. The only improvements would be to have a BBQ available and a lanai/patio area. Also the checkin experience late at night could be better. At night the area is pitch black so eventhough we were prepared with flashlights and used Google maps it was difficult to spot the cottage's address. Maybe a more prominent white address would help? We would definitely look forward to coming again.

We loved our stay here! The place is clean, comfortable, and overall really nice. The location is excellent — close to beaches, restaurants, shops and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I would most definitely stay here again! My only issue that I’d knock off half a star off for is that it’d get a little warm at night. I woke up hot nearly every morning. A lighter weight blanket and a full length mirror would be nice additions.

A clean and welcoming property that is beautifully appointed with high end finishes and Hawaiian photography. Furniture is very comfortable. Laundry is handy - don’t overpack! Upon arrival we found a lovely note from the property manager, bottle of wine, snacks and ground coffee. Do not leave food out - ants will find it. Management took care of this immediately. Beautiful indoor shower/bath as well as outdoor. Safe and quiet neighborhood with many large estate properties. Walkable neighborhood and excellent location. Absolutely no complaints! It was perfect!

We loved our stay here! The place is clean, comfortable, and overall really nice. The location is excellent — close to beaches, restaurants, shops and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I would most definitely stay here again! My only issue that I’d knock off half a star off for is that it’d get a little warm at night. I woke up hot nearly every morning. A lighter weight blanket and a full length mirror would be nice additions.

I had the most delightful stay at this one-bedroom cottage! From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and the welcoming ambiance. This is the perfect cottage for two people. It's roomy, comfortable, and in the best location - close to everything! The kitchen allows for cooking, the laundry machines are great for longer stays, the AC was wonderful and the outdoor shower is an added touch. The communication with the management company was easy. Everything about this property was perfect for honeymoon lodging: very clean and organized, spacious for a couple, convenient amenities (including full sized bath products for guests to use that smell and feel great!), very cute and quiet neighborhood, comfortable furniture, and very quick responses from the owner. We were always in the loop if something happened on the property (they let us know their AC units were inoperable, so they put portable AC units in the bedroom and living room that worked just as good). When we arrived, we even received some treats as a welcome gift for our honeymoon. Lots of shops, beaches, restaurants, and activities nearby as well. I wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else. We will definitely recommend this spot to anyone staying in the Poipu area, and we will surely be back as well!

Just finished an awesome stay here. Family included 6 adults and two kids (7 and 5) and the house was set up perfectly with shared and private space for everyone! The communications from the host was excellent with very concise information on the check-in process and the amenities offered. The house was super clean/ well kept and provisioned well with all the necessities- kitchen and bathroom supplies, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels. It's in a very central location with easy access to the beach and walking distance to numerous shops/restaurants in the area. The pool was a big bonus and the grandkids loved spending afternoon time in the water. Definitely would plan on another stay here!

This home is fabulous. Well maintained. Spotless, and very open to family gathering and enjoying time together. The neighborhood is beautiful, wonderful area to go for a run or leisurely walk. Quick walk to beaches. Plenty of restaurants and shopping, only was a short drive away. Enjoyed the inviting pool and large deck, we enjoyed sharing meals, sitting to visit or play games on the large deck. The bedrooms were large with bathrooms suites for all quests. Loved having a garage to park in. Well stocked with towels, beach chairs and all kitchen items needed to prepare meals. So great to also have a washer and dryer... We loved this home and would highly recommend to anyone. We would definitely stay here again

We just got back from staying at this property for 9 nights and we really enjoyed the house and the location. The house is beautiful with comfortable furnishings and a completely stocked kitchen. Our only issue initially when we first arrived was that the listing said air conditioning throughout the house and the air conditioning is not throughout the house. All 4 bedrooms have a mini ductless air conditioning system but the main living room area and kitchen do not. It was hot when we arrived and it took us some time to figure out how to get things cooled down in that main area but once we did it wasn’t bad. I would recommend to the owners though to maybe install units in that room or even provide a portable air conditioner unit for the hotter months. In the end we had a great time staying at this property. We really enjoyed the comforts of this beautiful home and the perfect location that was close to beaches, shopping and great restaurants. We would stay again! I recommend!

This is probably my favorite home I've ever rented, though it's also the most expensive! We loved how clean and new everything was. For a group of adults traveling, it was nice having king beds in all rooms and similar, beautiful decor. Apart from the bathrooms, all were pretty equal rooms and all bathrooms were excellent (2 rooms share a jack & jill and the other 2 rooms have en suite). I will note there is no a/c in the main room and kitchen - we had a couple days where the heat outside made this a bit uncomfortable. All the bedrooms had individual a/c units and were cool. The neighborhood and pool were lovely and the home is centrally located. We knew the pool was being serviced on Tuesday, but were surprised when the workers shared that we could not swim for a few days after it was being treated. Not sure how frequently this happens. Would absolutely stay here again with the right group and splurge budget.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us on our honeymoon! Amenities were great (washer/dryer was extremely useful). Bathroom was also nice—the shower was noteworthy. Everything was well stocked from welcome gifts and wine openers to utensils and coffee. The bed was a little finicky, hut we ended up taking off the foam topper which helped a lot. Prime location too! Poipu and Kōloa are awesome places to be on the island!!!

We celebrated the 50th anniversary of our first date at the Hale Lo’i Cottage. It was a great location and lodging for a couple for the last week of a month in Hawaii. The cottage is perfect for a couple with ample space, storage and amenities. Great quiet neighborhood location walkable to dining and shopping options. A variety of nice beaches within a few minutes drive among many other area attractions. Wailani Kauai was a very responsive rental agency that was very welcoming and helpful beyond the booking.

Just finished an awesome stay here. Family included 6 adults and two kids (7 and 5) and the house was set up perfectly with shared and private space for everyone! The communications from the host was excellent with very concise information on the check-in process and the amenities offered. The house was super clean/ well kept and provisioned well with all the necessities- kitchen and bathroom supplies, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels. It's in a very central location with easy access to the beach and walking distance to numerous shops/restaurants in the area. The pool was a big bonus and the grandkids loved spending afternoon time in the water. Definitely would plan on another stay here!

We had a wonderful week in Poipu and were very pleased with the accommodations. Very quiet location within minutes of great snorkeling and restaurants. We also went up to Waimea Canyon, which was a beautiful drive, and went on the Canyon Trail hike. The hosts also included a binder with very useful information about the island, including recommendations for restaurants, activities, and places to visit. We highly recommend this place!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful 3 week stay. The cottage had all the amenities (kitchen & washer/dryer etc) expected and it was clean and well maintained. It was in a quiet community situated in an excellent location close to Poipu beach and the restaurants & shops in Koloa. It was a bonus that the cottage had beach chairs which we used a number of times for our beach excursions. The Kiahuna Golf club was very close by and it was easy to book a time and play at the reduced twilight rate. The only improvements would be to have a BBQ available and a lanai/patio area. Also the checkin experience late at night could be better. At night the area is pitch black so eventhough we were prepared with flashlights and used Google maps it was difficult to spot the cottage's address. Maybe a more prominent white address would help? We would definitely look forward to coming again.

We celebrated the 50th anniversary of our first date at the Hale Lo’i Cottage. It was a great location and lodging for a couple for the last week of a month in Hawaii. The cottage is perfect for a couple with ample space, storage and amenities. Great quiet neighborhood location walkable to dining and shopping options. A variety of nice beaches within a few minutes drive among many other area attractions. Wailani Kauai was a very responsive rental agency that was very welcoming and helpful beyond the booking.

This is a wonderful property. The only problem that we had was finding it in the dark. There are no street lights and the address is faint and high on the side of the house. Most of the other houses on the cul-de-sac had addresses at street level at the edge of the driveways. We finally had to knock at a neighbor's door and they were kind enough to help us find it after searching with their flashlight .

Clean, yet generic space. No outdoor patio, garden or anywhere we could sit to have morning coffee or evening wine. Once returning to our rental, we could have been anywhere. We had to leave to enjoy being in Hawaii. Long walk to closest beach along a busy road. Not really something we wanted to do daily.
