Hotel Orlando by PLI

Cheap basic accommodation Very attentive and friendly when I reported an issue Needs good tidy up and not storing building materials in entrance hallway would be a good start.

When i arrived i received a phone call saying that they could not accomodate me there at the orlando hotel but they gave me a room near Hyde park 20 minute bus journey. The orlando hotel had an old bed laying out the front and rubbish everywhere! What a dump

All was perfect till the main door stopped working in the middle of the night and I had to wait more than 1 hour to get in. Meanwhile a drunk man was assaulting me at the entrance while waiting on whoever was supposed to fix the issue. I ended up going to the Garda station due to a door malfunction. Which was a pity, everything else was perfect but this experience ruined not only the hotel stay, but also my whole weekend away.

Run down. Loss of internet. 2 people 1 coffee cup. Didnt see anyone that worked there. Dont recommend

We had a short break in London for 3 days This establishment is not the ritz and its not advertised as such but what it is, is great value for money. Personal care and service was excellent. Building is a work in progress, the room and shower was spotless. We had a problem with the tv reception but this was sorted promptly. Transport links are excellent with bus stops a few metres from the door and tube stations within 10 mins walk or 5 min bus ride. Would highly recommend a visit

Clean, but requires self entry with electronic device ( no staff in office ). Bathroom light and fan did not operate. Quiet room away from street noise.

Unmanned hotel with construction being done, no AC and confusing check in process. Seemed to all be run by one woman on a cellphone.

There wasn't a reception to advise us on which room we were staying in. The sink in the ensuite was blocked. There wasn't any tea or coffee to go with the kettle in the room.

There is no one at reception almost ever. They are trying to make it completely automated but there are flaws in their system so things inevitably go wrong. People get locked out because there's no one to oversee visitors, especially at night. People then lean on the doorbell all night which was just outside my room so I was continually woken up by that. There is no one to oversee checkout in the early morning so if you have an early flight you won't get your security deposit back unless you work out a special arrangement. The back door blind didn't stay down so I had no privacy. The halogen lamps in the room were blinding so I could not read or work at my computer comfortably. (All they need to do was provide a decent desk lamp or a bedside lamp for reading). Oh! And their wi-fi was down 2 days out of five! I could go on and on about how bad it was. I will say that the person who was in charge did everything he could to fix the problems, but the hotel itself is a complete disorganized mess so there was only so much he could do.

We arrived on Wednesday 29th June and I had to phone a number as the hotel wasnt manned. The person said he had sent a payment link via email but I never received it. He that sent the email but at the same time a guy came to the hotel and let us in and we paid and was given codes to enter property and to get our key from a combination lock. The room and private bathroom were very small as was the bed. We only planned to be there to sleep but a bigger room would've been better. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Halfway between Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush tube stations. Around a 10 minute stroll (walk to the left for hammersmith, to the right for Shepherds Bush. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. Hammersmith apollo nearby and Shepherds Bush empire and westfield shopping centre a short walk. If the room was a bit bigger I may return but due to it being on the small side I would book else where

Extremely dirty. Hairs in the shower. Dust all over the place. It looked like it has never been cleaned. I arrived at 11am. Yes, very early and they told me that the room was not ready. Fear enough. But, they gave me the room at 15.05. So you tell me that you could not harry up with my room? I landed early in the morning. Nothing I could have done about it. Disgusting place and staff

I stayed at the hotel for a week. My room was quite clean. The hand soap was watered down though and there was a suspicious stain on one of the throw pillows lol. The area was nice and convenient to two tube lines and there were nice cafes nearby. I did feel quite safe in the room which was nice as a solo female traveler. There was this high pitched ringing noise that would be on and off throughout the entire day and night. It was nuts and drove me nuts. I have no idea where it came from after trying to figure it out within the room. There was also a false fire alarm at 2:00 am one night and there was no one working at the hotel, so another guest had to call and get through to the hotel to be told how to turn off the alarm. It sucked. Also no one ever came to clean the room during the duration of my week long stay!! No emptying of the garbage even. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't very good either. My stay was fine but I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend.

I don’t understand how you can sell rooms like this ? The room wasn’t done dirty towels on the floor dirty bedding . Both beds were broken . The tv and the heater durant work ! No light in the corridors . Very distressing ! Don’t go there !!!

It's situated in a very good location. However, I was shocked by condition that the property is in. The bath room is substandard.

The room was old, and smelled Like old/moldy wood. That was the least of the issues. The room was so dirty, there were footprints on the floor, and dirt in the showers. Lastly, there was hair on the beds. We made a complaint, and they moved us to a different room. The room was way cleaner, and better. However, the bed was broken.. so you can feel all the springs on the bed. We couldn’t even shower there as there was black mold all over the bathroom.

No staff on arrival. Had to call the organisation to get the door codes. The door code for our room didnt work. However, somebody walked up in front us to our room, and helped us gain entry. I presume he was an employee, however he didnt introduce himself. They also sent an email with confirmation of the codes the following day! Once inside the room we noticed that there was a kettle, 1 mug and no milk, tea or coffee. No one to talk to so we had to get our own. The shower looked newish, however, there was no bracket to stow the shower. We were there 4 nights and no one cleaned the room or changed the lbed sheets.

The place is not bad, needs to be cleaner, communication is good, there is no wardrobe or hangers and that can be a problem

The toilet was really tiny and you can't close the door completely when using it

This hotel might not be for everyone but for the price it was fine for us for one night. Very basic, small room, tiny bathroom but clean which is all we needed after coming home late after a show at the Apollo which is a 10min walk

Room had only one towel and bath matt when arrived. There was a slow water leak in bathroom when we arrived and we were given towels to soak up water. We stayed 5 nights and water leak was still there when we left. The room was not serviced therefore had to chase staff to get to give us more towels to replace wet ones on floor from leak. Anytime you used the bathroom you had a slip hazard as you left due to water. The electrics in room were not right with power randomly working, one bedside lamp worked the first night then not for rest of stay. hair dryer also worked on and off during stay and power points worked on occasion. TV did not have a remote when we arrived and when asked the staff reply was 'Oh did you want a TV' then went about getting a handy man to replace the whole TV from another room. On arrival we were given one tea bag and nine sugars thrown on table next to kettle and this was never serviced. On day 4 we had to chase staff to get extra toilet paper. There was only 2 pillows given on a double bed and when requested we were given an extra in a plastic bag with a pillow case to put on it once removed.

- Location was good ! - The room was much different to and much smaller than the one on the photos. - On several parts of the walls there was something that looked very much like mold :( - During our four day stay we didn’t once see anyone working there.

I am very sorry to tell the truth. I was disappointed about what I have found. I was located at Room-3 with own shower and toilet. Surprisely the toilet was not functioning and is really broken in pieces. The cleaner was shocked and excused him self Manny time, he tried to contact the office on 02081642202.no contact, later came back and had contact and told me the toilet will be repaired between 5 and 7 pm. I agreed and went out for a meeting in Central London. Surprisely, there were nobody to fix the toilet and the Electric heater was even removed from my room. I paid for a room with private toilet, however could not use it? I asked for refund which was accepted by the office and they told me, you will get full refund, but you need to F contact the Expedia which I have done. After a long story and chating with robot and later with Mr. Jessus. I am still waiting on my refund and service compensation from the company. There is no word of apology menchend by the Orlando Hotel. Personally, I will not advice my friends to book this hotel unless I have got my refund back and a written apology for from the hotel. Please, I ask other guests who want to stay at room-3to check the toilet functioning before they accept the room without any delay and no excuses that the toilet will be fixed directly. Good luck and take care and do not trust what is on the Internet is shown. Surprisingly enough.

Great price for a nice room, bed was comfortable, it was close to the grocery shop, close to the Hammersmith night life, the bus stopped very close and took your straight to the underground station that had everything you could want.

Property was in a good location nice street with local shops cafe and bar close by. Room was small and basic which was to be expected fir the price we paid Bedding was clean and new and shower was ok which is all you need on a budget Great value would book again

I stayed at Orlando hotel for 6 nights it was cheap I have to add I usd to wear a jumper in bed it was freezing the central heating wasn’t on I was sleeping in daytime I got disturbed 3 times three different days they tapped on the door at 1030 to ask if I was leaving on Saturday I couldn’t wait to get out off this hotel it’s true u get wat u pay for location was handy 1 out off 10 for location
