Parking is not available at the location. You need to go to the community hall and pay 8 pounds. The rooms are super clean/functional. The beds are deliciously comfortable. This place is awesome. I just wish they would provide hand soap, shower gel ( which was empty and is a common complaint on many reviews). Its the simple cheap things that can make you feel like a valued customer. Overall fantastoc stay if you enjoy pub noise til midnight 😉

Clean room, comfortable bed, easy self check-in and a kettle and tea /coffee were appreciated. The room was small (don’t bring too much luggage) and the shower head bracket was broken but for what I paid I was very happy with the value and standard of the room.

the room was nice and very clean, newly refurbished, well heated, good shower room, included a kettle and large tv and all as described so very happy and would return. but access via the metal stairs in wet weather is uncomfortable and its a bit unusual to not have any face to face contact

No issues, it’s self check in and the instructions were easy to follow. Room was very small but perfect for what I needed which was just a bed and somewhere to shower in the morning. Clean compact space, looked recently decorated. Not a huge amount of room to get around in, couldn’t get all the way around the bed if the bathroom door was open for example, not a complaint for me at all but think it’s always handy to read about what you’re booking! No wardrobe but there is a clothes rail above a counter, and basic tea/coffee provisions. No parking, there is a 24 hour paid car park next door which was £6.20 for 12 hours.

The room and bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy. Very close to the town centre so very handy. Saw no members of staff it’s self entry and checkout. Wouldn’t suggest taking a suitcase to this accommodation as there wasn’t any wardrobes or chest of draws so you can’t unpack anything. Halls and stairs very narrow so would struggle with a suitcase and you have to climb up some metal stairs to get to the accommodation which seems very risky as it is, never mind trying to carry a suitcase up it, can’t see the stairs being that safe in winter when it’s wet or frosty. The toilet was old fashioned and very noisy for a while when flushed. You can hear people in the room opposite. Halls and stairs very narrow so would struggle with a suitcase. As it’s on a road it can be quite noisy outside.

It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return.

What a find this one is, ideal for the town and surrounding area. Car park handily at the side by the church. Lovely clean room, brilliant shower and easy check in. There are steps though so need to be mindful of that. There is noise from the passing traffic and it’s constant but we knew about that in advance so no complaints about that. My one complaint is that the mattress needs to be changed, it’s dreadfully uncomfortable, springs stick in you and make sleeping tricky. Change the mattress and we’d definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.

Very good and especially for the price. Very comfy bed and pillows. Great shower. Wifi excellent and included in the price paid. Good facility as expected ie tea, coffee. Only thing to be mindful of for other guests would be to say the property doesnt make clear that they wont send you details of how to self check in until the actual day of your arrival, as you need a door pincode to access your room, and its very difficult to make contact with the property. However, i would stay there again as it was very well located and comfy.

The room was clean, value for money and bathroom was exceptionally clean/new. Good use of a small space. The headboard, however would do with dusting/hoovering as I could smell dust and was sneezing, when I checked, I realised the dust. I had to improvise and sleep with my feet at the headboard.

Really comfortable stay. Super clean and the shower was excellent. Would just warn that it can be noisy until around 11 PM or so (which may have been noted but I didn’t see it). And you need to bring a towel! (If that is noted I also didn’t see that, apologies).

Freshly refurbished, clean and tidy, decent shower with soap and shampoo provided, central location in the town. Not a huge room, but adequate for a few nights. No wardrobe, but there were a few pegs to hang stuff on, and a few small open shelves. Some noise from folks leaving the pub quite late, also traffic noise from the A5. I was worried about how to access the property, but instructions arrived by SMS mid afternoon and worked fine.

The hotel room was really nice but we had no amenities at all. It looked as if they were not expecting anyone. there were no towels at all and as we arrived at 11pm there was no one to ask. We texted the owner and he said he would leave some at reception in the morning but that didnt happen. The shampoo / shower gel dispensers were empty and there was no mattress topper on the bed . The room was however very clean and comfortable so we would stay again, providing we could get the amenities

Small room, no heating available in mid-Sept despite a strong wind blowing through the bedroom door which opened straight to the outside. No curtain or blind to cover the window in the door so very bright in the morning. Easy self check-in and out. Noise from the pub downstairs but not particularly loud. Other guests doors banged loudly though whenever they came in or out.

The accommodation was nice, exactly how it was described. The only negative we had was that it was extremely noisy in the pub downstairs, the music was so loud & very thin walls but never the less we enjoyed our stay. Thank you :)

Room faced street with bright lighting and curtains didn’t cover it very well. Heating didn’t work on arrival but this was fixed, however when I came back from my day on the Saturday evening the radiator hadn’t turned on at all all day so room was cold.

Rooms were very clean, bed was comfy. Lots of road noise though, but it is on a busy road. Shame pub was shut, we were there for a concert and got thirsty! Would stay again.

Iv stayed here before with no problem last time, but unfortunately this time on the second day there was no hot water from the shower and tap and id been out hiking all day. I sent 2 emails complaining about this and had no response, even tried phoning the numbers i found online left voice mails and still no response at all, i left it 2 weeks before leaving a review incase they responded but still nothing, just a bit disappointed really

Please be aware this is self service and if pub is not open this was challenging. My e-mail/text arrived after I had completed my stay. Contact was difficult and the Indian takeaway opposite was a great help to gain access. This was a shame as the room was excellent. Internet and TV didn't work but that was the storm weekend. So, possibly a reason. Poor phone signal throughout Llangollen anyway.

It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return.

Stopped for one night as joining friends for the day. Easy check in was sent all details which were easy to follow. Room clean and tidy, bed ok mattress not the most comfortable but for price it was fine. Shower lovely and hot.

Very good and especially for the price. Very comfy bed and pillows. Great shower. Wifi excellent and included in the price paid. Good facility as expected ie tea, coffee. Only thing to be mindful of for other guests would be to say the property doesnt make clear that they wont send you details of how to self check in until the actual day of your arrival, as you need a door pincode to access your room, and its very difficult to make contact with the property. However, i would stay there again as it was very well located and comfy.

The room and bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy. Very close to the town centre so very handy. Saw no members of staff it’s self entry and checkout. Wouldn’t suggest taking a suitcase to this accommodation as there wasn’t any wardrobes or chest of draws so you can’t unpack anything. Halls and stairs very narrow so would struggle with a suitcase and you have to climb up some metal stairs to get to the accommodation which seems very risky as it is, never mind trying to carry a suitcase up it, can’t see the stairs being that safe in winter when it’s wet or frosty. The toilet was old fashioned and very noisy for a while when flushed. You can hear people in the room opposite. Halls and stairs very narrow so would struggle with a suitcase. As it’s on a road it can be quite noisy outside.

Very good position relative to the town centre but a little noisy at night as on the A5. The actual pub was closed while we were there so can't comment on any noise from downstairs. One or two little snags which I managed to work around.

What a find this one is, ideal for the town and surrounding area. Car park handily at the side by the church. Lovely clean room, brilliant shower and easy check in. There are steps though so need to be mindful of that. There is noise from the passing traffic and it’s constant but we knew about that in advance so no complaints about that. My one complaint is that the mattress needs to be changed, it’s dreadfully uncomfortable, springs stick in you and make sleeping tricky. Change the mattress and we’d definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.

Convinient for the town centre, clean and tidy, easy check in once we got the details. Road noise in the room we had was terrible and spoilt our stay luckily the pub was closed otherwise I think that would also be a problem in the front rooms as it's a late opening, so glad we were only stopping one night.

I stayed for one night which was enough. Parking is nearby and is extra. A very basic room. Fairly clean but not very. Windows are not double glazed so I could hear noises outside. But I didn't hear any noise downstairs. Communication with staff is via phone or message. It's self check-in. The rooms are upstairs a flight of outdoor metal steps. Good value for one or two nights but not an extended holiday. Walking distance to high street.
