Excellant. The most friendly staff, we had a small problem with room and the receptionist took complete responsibility for resolving without fuss, fantastic service. Comfortable room and bed, everything we needed for a great break. Free underground car park, great location.

Stayed the one night for a visit to Kew Gardens. Hotel is a lovely pub located perfectly for visitors of the Gardens. Tube is nice and close by too so was easy to get to with over night bags. Receptionist was lovely and really helpful. We arrived well before check in, so they took our bags in to the luggage store and then moved them to our room for when we returned. We stayed on the ground floor, rooms were beautiful and so quiet, would not think you were staying in a pub. We only booked for bed only but had dinner on the sunday afternoon and was 10/10. Portions for sunday lunch are very generous, couldn’t finish it all. Room service app was a bit hit and miss so ended up calling down for it instead. Would definitely recommend this pub/hotel for anyone visiting the area. Appreciated the air-conned room as we stayed on a very warm weekend. Would definitely book again if we are in the area.

Went to see a London Irish game and thought we’d stay the night. Lovely area with great walks by the river. The hotel receptionist was very welcoming and a real asset to the property. Room was spacious. Have never seen a fridge with so many items in it - and not at a ridiculous price. Thoroughly recommended, we will definitely be back next season.

Superb all round. Great location, staff are really friendly and helpful, room was faultless, atmosphere in the bar was lovely, secure parking was a bonus, and great value too. First class, will be back!

Fantastic find. Good value with free parking a stones throw from Kew Gardens and The Thames. Staff very friendly, welcoming and room very comfortable and well appointed. Also coming from Bristol it’s only a 5 min drive from M4 junction.

Our welcome from Alijia was very warm and friendly. She couldn’t do any more to make us very welcome. All staff were very attentive. Our room was comfortable but the shower needs an overhaul. Good pressure on shower, but curtain not good. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will return.

Lovely hotel - couldn't fault it. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Comfy, clean and cosy room with very nice ensuite shower and minibar & hamper.

Arrived and was greeted to a lovely receptionist. Room was chic and cosy. Nice bathroom with large bath. Damage to some of the carpets but I wouldn’t mark down for this. Lovely restaurant and pub below with lots of food and drink choices and reasonable prices. Great location and shortish walk to Richmond if you like getting some steps in. Definitely will be returning here for another stay in the future.

First of all I must compliment ever single one of the staff members we met during our stay this weekend. From the lady who checked us in, the bar staff who served us, our gorgeous Ukrainian waiter from the restaurant, the cleaning staff and the lady who checked us out. Everyone seemed to love their jobs and made us so very welcome. Thank you. You were all outstanding. We had a great night sleep and room was very comfortable and quiet! (Room 11) If I was to make any suggestions, I would say the rooms and hotel just needs a bit of TLC in some areas. Our room was a bit tired and it really wouldn’t take much to make the little amendments that need doing. BUT this did not affect our stay and we would definitely consider visiting again. Thank you.

It was ok, car parking excellent, we have stayed before, it was much more expensive this time. Skirting in bathroom dusty, aircon only goes down to 19 degrees and very noisey if windows opened, cold tap in bthroom runs warm water otherwise good, would stay again if in that area.

It was very close to the National Archives - walking in five to seven minutes - clean and safe - I was very comfortable - the staff were very friendly - room was clean - in all a great experience - I will recommend to other friends.

The check in was lovely and the person at the desk went out of their way to be helpful and kind. The rooms are very pleasant with free coffee and tea. Our chair was a little worn and had coffee stains but not a big deal and everything else was perfect and clean :) The location is very convenient to Kew Gardens and not far from bus and tube stations and walkable to many places to eat! Pub has a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty but service was very slow second day despite not being crowded. Definitely worth the cost and would recommend to others

We will certainly stay here again when we are in the area. The hotel faces onto Kew Green and is half way between Kew Gardens District line and Kew Bridge railway stations, with frequent buses and a night bus if required. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient especially the lovely outgoing Polish receptionist (sorry we didn't catch her name). The room we had was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel, but the secondary double glazing cut out any road or beer garden noise perfectly. There was a very quiet and effective air conditioning unit and a lovely comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were very clean, as were the cups and glasses. The coffee machine worked well and the tea bags high quality. The fresh milk in the room fridge was very welcome, and there were a good variety of products in the mini bar. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of high quality products available and attentive, friendly staff. The bread was exceptionally tasty, but as it was crusty the knives struggled to cut it easily. That is perhaps our only complaint!

It’s a nice and convenient hotel but the AC in the room never worked in a very hot day. They brought us a fan but we were still a little uncomfortable because we had to keep the window open and it was noisy outside. The staff was very apologetic and they gave us a nice credit but I do think the property needed maintenance and it was overlooked for a while since they told us it wasn’t the first time it had happened. Overall it was a good experience with mild discomfort.

Lovely big room. Large comfortable bed. Lighting poor e.g No lighting over the mirror. Only one light in the porch and rather dim lights each side of the bed. No instructions on how to use air con- it took time to work out on a hot day. Very polite helpful and friendly staff on reception bar and restaurant. A real asset to the hotel.

The front desk staff are 100/10. The amenities in the room are 10/10. The rooms themselves could probably be updated and refreshed but honestly we didn’t care because everything else was fabulous. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, didn’t quite get what I ordered for breakfast but it was fine. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I’m quite critical of hotels.

The room we had was comfortable and very quiet. We were on the ground floor in a group of rooms whch are some way distant from bars and restaurants. The room was a good size and clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpfull. And the pub was good too!

Staff gets a 5 star, tube system 10 min walk, buses short distance. Park and Thames within walking distance, shopping mall 10 min walk. These accommodations had everything a hotel would have. Very dog friendly with snacks. Area very comfortable. My complaint was air conditioner didn't function and room very warm, staff worked hard in getting it to function ultimately relying on a fan, tube/ train system had disruption for the Richmond area which was a bit of a hiccup but no fault of the hotel. It's an older but comfortable Inn and customer service and staff are terrific and helpful

Great place to stay, we had 2 nights at the Coach and Horses Kew Green, the room was spacious with a comfortable king size bed, there was a well stocked mini bar if you wanted alcoholic or soft drinks plus a honesty hamper with plenty of snacks, having a nespresso machine and pods was a pleasent surprise. The shower was a delight, really powerful water, luxurious soft towels and plenty of quality toiletries. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the breakfasst and evening meal staff to the housekeeping staff, and Alicja the receptionist was a gem and a joy to chat with

Breakfast was excellent with a variety of high quality products available and attentive, friendly staff. The bread was exceptionally tasty, but as it was crusty the knives struggled to cut it easily. That is perhaps our only complaint!
We will certainly stay here again when we are in the area. The hotel faces onto Kew Green and is half way between Kew Gardens District line and Kew Bridge railway stations, with frequent buses and a night bus if required. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient especially the lovely outgoing Polish receptionist (sorry we didn't catch her name). The room we had was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel, but the secondary double glazing cut out any road or beer garden noise perfectly. There was a very quiet and effective air conditioning unit and a lovely comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were very clean, as were the cups and glasses. The coffee machine worked well and the tea bags high quality. The fresh milk in the room fridge was very welcome, and there were a good variety of products in the mini bar. The Coach and Horses really surprised us with its amazing decor and attention to detail. It was in a great spot close to Kew amenities and attractions. The room felt like a home from home and had been recently refurbished. For a deluxe room it was was quite compact . The snacks and drinks available for an extra charge were a pleasing option.

Overall it was a nice stay. Comfortable, cosy and the room was nice, clean, shower worked well, Nespresso machine was good. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was ok but we're not overly impressed with the staff. The waitress serving us wasnt able to give us a list of the available soft drinks and seemed almost confused that we might ask for a soft drink and quite aloof/bordering on rude. Additionally there was a male who brought our room service order who was quite unpleasant. The whisky we ordered was not available. Instead of offering an alternative I was told to look at the app or go to the bar. I said there was only one whiskey on the app and he just looked mad and said "well I don't know how the app works I've never used it" and seemed like he was trying to run away. I went to go to the bar as the app only lists the one out of stock whisky. At the bar, after I ordered my whisky he asked if I needed help and handed me the food order to carry myself instead of delivering it as room service as it was ordered. I was able to manage but it didn't feel like he actually wanted to help. Also he sneezed in his hand when he was working behind the bar and continued working without washing his hands. Overall he was very standoffish and couldn't be bothered.

Stayed 2 nights with my daughter as it was her 21st and we were going to see a show. Lovely room, very cosy and welcoming. Plenty of milk, coffee and tea. Hairdrier, iron and toiletries. Housekeeping staff were lovely as was the lady when we checked out. Other staff not attentive when we wanted to check-in. We walked through the bar to reception, nobody acknowledged us (Wednesday evening so not packed). Waited and could see staff looking at us but nobody approached us.....we had to go and ask. Same again when checking out.....staff saw us but didn't even acknowledge us, let alone inform us someone would be with us. The lady that checked us out was very lovely though and definitely an asset. Thank you to her.

A very comfortable room in a great location close to Kew Gardens. Great pub food and wonderful staff who were very attentive, friendly and kind. Lots of extra touches in the room with the coffee machine, variety of teas, cookie and fruit. A special mention to Alicja on reception…great customer service….Thank you Alicja.

Very happy stay here. Great location for Kew Gardens and the National Archives (both a short walk away) and the Thames just up the road for boat rides up to Westminster. Very comfortable bed (slept like a log for two nights). Food was excellent. Breakfast there was a wide variety of choice and for a very pleasant change from the usual these days, there was a menu to choose from rather than the same old, same old boring buffet. (For that reason alone, I would stay here again).The full English was top notch ,as was the eggs benedict and the haddock and eggs. Evening time, not a massive menu but the quality of the lamb pie, the steak, the chicken liver parfait to name but three was as excellent as the breakfast. Plenty of beers on offer and great selection of whisky. Also, although we stayed mid-week, each night the whole pub had a good number of people eating and at the bar which created a lovely atmosphere. Finally, all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially so the breakfast manager and there is also very convenient parking on site. In summary, I highly recommend The Coach & Horses.

Lovely little hotel with good bus line to nearby Richmond. The booking was a bit misleading as it says Richmond but is actually in Kew across from the lovely Kew Gardens. Richmond is a 10 minute bus drive away. Very nice service, cozy environment. I like Young’s Hotels because they feel like part of the neighborhood.

It’s a lovely place and in a really good position for Kew Gardens and walk into to Richmond. The staff were excellent and the hotel very cosy and warm. The only concern when we had dinner, I think they were short staffed and it took an hour for it to arrive. Other people commented the same upon leaving whilst we waited and one person decided not to wait for dessert as it was soo long.

This antique house style hotel is located in a relaxed small town environment, right next to the Royal Botanic Garden, and close to river Thames. It is also on a few bus routes, makes the commute to airport or London very easy, do not need to worry about driving or parking. Thanks for the nice staff and clean environment, I would definitely recommend it!

Stayed the one night for a visit to Kew Gardens. Hotel is a lovely pub located perfectly for visitors of the Gardens. Tube is nice and close by too so was easy to get to with over night bags. Receptionist was lovely and really helpful. We arrived well before check in, so they took our bags in to the luggage store and then moved them to our room for when we returned. We stayed on the ground floor, rooms were beautiful and so quiet, would not think you were staying in a pub. We only booked for bed only but had dinner on the sunday afternoon and was 10/10. Portions for sunday lunch are very generous, couldn’t finish it all. Room service app was a bit hit and miss so ended up calling down for it instead. Would definitely recommend this pub/hotel for anyone visiting the area. Appreciated the air-conned room as we stayed on a very warm weekend. Would definitely book again if we are in the area.

Terrific staff. Great breakfast. Short walk to Kew Gardens and direct bus line to Richmond Park and Richmond central, where you can take train to central London in 20 minutes. Restaurant serves excellent meals and the pub is outstanding.

Staff was super helpful on helping us with walking directions and bus services. Room was clean and comfortable. Right next to Kew Gardens and the pier to catch a boat to Hampton Court. One negative: Breakfast food was not very good. That said, would definitely recommend this hotel.

The check in was lovely and the person at the desk went out of their way to be helpful and kind. The rooms are very pleasant with free coffee and tea. Our chair was a little worn and had coffee stains but not a big deal and everything else was perfect and clean :) The location is very convenient to Kew Gardens and not far from bus and tube stations and walkable to many places to eat! Pub has a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty but service was very slow second day despite not being crowded. Definitely worth the cost and would recommend to others

Very comfy room with Aircon and lots of thoughtful extras. Minutes from Kew Gardens. Really excellent restaurant with interesting menu. We booked to stay overnight for only one night but stayed later the second day to eat dinner here again. Highly recommend this place for any trips to West London. Not so handy for Heathrow by public transport but easy by cab. Buses easily connect with Chiswick and Ealing
