Hotel Victoria

Hotel vem localizado, em Paradiso, na beira do lago. Tem estacionamento disponível. Quarto antigo, sem frigobar ( na reserva dizia que tinha), café da manhã c pouca variedade.

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und f. Luganoer Verhältnisse auch bezahlbar. Gutes Frühstück. Leider war kein Parkplatz frei. Interieur alles recht alt, altmodisch und „abgenutzt“. Kondenswasser der Klimaanlage rinnt in ein Eimerchen im Zimmer, das man leeren muß. Eigtl. nicht schlimm, aber etwas komisch. Der wunderbare Blick auf den See und die Stadt ist aber berauschend schön. Fazit: würde wieder dort übernachten.

Das Frühstück ausreichend und die Angestellten sehr freundlich. Man könnte mit einer grundlegenden Sanierung des Gebäudes sicher einen tollen Ort am Luganer See daraus machen. Dann wird es natürlich auch wieder viel teuer. ; )

Hotel decisamente datato che necessita di intensi lavori di manutenzione e ammodernamento. Sembra il tempo si sia fermato agli anni 60/70. Personale molto disponibile.

Staff were very nice. Location and view was beautiful. Property desperatly needs updating everywhere from the reception, restaurant and rooms. Very gaudy!! Time to let go of the past and move on or no one will be staying at your property. We will not be back.

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen. Fast direkt am see. Das ist das Highlight dieses Hotels. Das Personal ist freundlich und man fühlt sich wohl. Der Zustand des Hotels jedoch lässt ein eher negativen Eindruck. Alles funktioniert, aber ist zum Teil sehr veraltet oder in einem schlechten Zustand.

Location is really great. 5 mins walk to Paradiso Train Station and Migros. Bus stop is next to hotel and 2 mins walk to Paradiso boat pier. Old hotel with bigger room. Beautiful lake view but not good facilities. The breakfast is good though. Overall, you got what you pay for.

Smoke filled reception , no one to greet! Parking in another building poor access no instructionts to exit parking or enter after parked car

Goede locatie. Op loopafstand van Lugano en Monte San Salvatore. Hotel is gedateerd maar heeft goed ontbijt. Wij zaten op de vierde verdieping waar de de krakende vloer van de boven buren konden horen (wat jammer was). Parkeren is mogelijk in parkeergarage tegenover het hotel. Personeel is vriendelijk

Tenía reservada la habitación panorámica, pero al llegar al hotel la chica que había en recepción, no encontraba nuestra reserva y quería ponernos en una habiacion inferior, hablando con ella al final nos puso en una buena habitación como la que habíamos reservado, la gente fue muy agradable el hotel bastante antiguo pero me gustó, la habiacion limpia y cómoda y con buenas vistas al lago, desayuno un poco simple pero bueno, posicion muy buena cerca del centro y el funicular para subir al monte san Salvatore, te dan un papel para poder subir a los autobuses y trenes gratis el tiempo de estancia, en general muy agradable.

Abbiamo apprezzato la gentilezza di Cristina alla hall e la posizione e la camera con vista sul lago. Purtroppo l' hotel avrebbe bisogno di parecchi seri interventi di manutenzione e non solo di occasionali rimedi.

Auf der Suche nach einem passenden Hotel haben wir uns die Bilder die publiziert sind angeschaut. Das Zimmer entsprach in keinster Weise der publizierten Bilder. Das Zimmer war in keinem guten Zustand und entsprach nicht den Bildern der Buchung. In der Publikation waren schön sanierte Zimmer mit Holzboden zu sehen, in der Realität war es ein alter Teppichboden, abgeschlagene Möbel. Ebenfalls war ein Wasserkocher und eine Minibar publiziert. Auch diese Konten im Zimmer nicht vor gefunden werden. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend, ich übernachte auf den Hotels und so etwas habe ich bisher nicht erlebt.

While this property is older it is lovely and functions without problem. The staff is friendly and inviting. Breakfast is delicious and the views of the lake are gorgeous. It is farther from the town center but is worth the 10 minute walk along the lake or the 1 minute bus trip. The AC was an added bonus! My only negative is that it smells heavily of cigarette smoke.

While the building was showing its age with its creaky, carpeted floors, dim lighting, and faded furniture, it was great in the places that mattered most to us. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very, very spacious, the air conditioner worked consistently well throughout our stay, and it was very quiet throughout the night. Breakfast options were limited to cold options (other than the option to boil your eggs and toast your bread) but the coffee was freshly made to order and you could sit outside on their balcony to enjoy your meal if you wanted. Would stay again!

Traditionelles Hotel in sehr schöner Lage am Luganer See. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Die Badezimmer-Ausstattung in einigen Zimmern könnte renoviert werden.

Ótima opção. Quarto grande, bom café da manhã, estilo Vitoriano muito interessante.

Location was right across the street from the lake. Easily walk to the bus stop, the boat dock, and numerous restaurants. The view of the lake from our balcony was incredible!

Tenía reservada la habitación panorámica, pero al llegar al hotel la chica que había en recepción, no encontraba nuestra reserva y quería ponernos en una habiacion inferior, hablando con ella al final nos puso en una buena habitación como la que habíamos reservado, la gente fue muy agradable el hotel bastante antiguo pero me gustó, la habiacion limpia y cómoda y con buenas vistas al lago, desayuno un poco simple pero bueno, posicion muy buena cerca del centro y el funicular para subir al monte san Salvatore, te dan un papel para poder subir a los autobuses y trenes gratis el tiempo de estancia, en general muy agradable.

This was a couples trip and each couple booked a separate room. Pros: front desk staff was friendly and attempted to address concerns up to their limitation, location is good with easy access to downtown Lugano (we previously thought it would be further) Cons: - Hotel is VERY outdated with very few modern amenities - Management refused to allow the front desk to give us the controller for A/C unit. They claimed the weather was not warm enough and we could leave the window open. The problem with this is the excessive noise from outside all night long which leads to the next con: - The hotel has a strip club in the lobby and indecent pictures in the basement where the public bathrooms are. The nightclub attracts people at odd hours and there is loud noises and conversations keeping your from sleeping. We literally couldn’t get more than 3-4 hours of sleep per night. The solution would have been to close the windows and turn on the A/C, but… - There was a hose in the middle of the shower connecting the faucet to the shower head. You basically shower touching the hose and work your movements around it. - Even during the time of the year that managements allows A/C, there is a $30 charge per day for the usage. Overall we wanted to like the place for its location, views, and front desk customer service but at every moment, it disappointed us more.

The location of hotel is perfect. The building is very old byt We had a great view and we enjoyed our stay.

Was in a quiet part of the lake but still accessible to the main city and all the transport boats. Breakfast was great and so was the restaurant downstairs for dinner.

Room is OK, but breakfast is not OK. I stayed seven days and breakfast was all same everyday.
