The hotel itself was nice, clean and comfortable. They say there’s parking, but aren’t clear about where. I parked (illegally) and ran inside to find out where we could park. There was a line at reception so I asked the guy working at the bar about parking (it wasn’t opened yet). He said questions should go to reception and walked away. It turns out parking is across the street, but be prepared to carry your suitcase up stairs, unless there’s a way to get to the hotel from the garage that they never bothered to tell me.

Wir waren mit einem Rollstuhl hier und man konnte das Hotel nur sehr schwer verlassen und wieder betreten also nicht behinderten gerecht das könnte man ändern dann ist es ok

I had booked in for 2 nights as a solo female guest. When i got there they advised the restaurant and bar were closed and there were plenty places around that i could use. Very small room and initially poor service from reception. Spoke to duty manager next day. He was very helpful and resolved issues for our second night. Overall very clean and comfortable but both restaurants and swimming pool were closed.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Mannheims Quadraten. Ein Hotel der guten alten Zeit, jedoch nicht aus der Zeit geraten. Der Stil erinnert an die Tage zu Kaisers Zeiten ist aber preislich sehr moderat. Ruhig und sauber.

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as having air conditioned rooms. The reality is that, only the reception area and the lifts have got air conditioning. I was unable to sleep for two nights because the temperature in my room was hotter than it was outside. The staff kindly offered two different rooms but they were equally hot if not hotter. Although they refunded me for the unused nights, I felt that it was not fair to charge for nights that I haven’t been able to sleep. One pays for a hotel to ‘sleep’ so if the guest is unable to sleep because the hotel room is unfit for purpose then it is not fair to charge that guest. The three rooms that I had seen and stayed at were very dated, the beds were small, and the bathrooms did not look fresh. The rooms were also very dusty, the carpets were stained and the kettles were dirty. If there is one positive thing about this hotel, the location is convenient as it is close to the cafes and restaurants. However, Manheim is such a small place that everything is within walking distance anyway.

Leider hat die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert. Die Tage waren sehr heiß und die Sonne schien ab 12 Uhr voll in unser Zimmer. Jalousien gab es keine. Als kleinen Ausgleich erhielten wir zwei Getränkegutscheine, die wir an der Bar einlösen konnten. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden.

Ich war vollkommen zufrieden und glücklich mit dem Zimmer im 5. Stock, mit Sicht auf den Wasserturm! Es war wie immer super im Parkhotel Mannheim. Auch das Frühstück war ein Traum. Das Personal am Empfang und im Frühstücksraum waren ausserordentlich freundlich und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Schade, dass die Bar irgendwie nicht so läuft. Ich würde jeweils gerne zum Abschluss des Tages einen Prosecco trinken. Aber das ist nur so am Rande wichtig. Freundliche Grüsse und bis bald wieder. Flurinda Buchli, Hohenbühlweg 11, CH-7000 Chur

Stannade två nätter, första natten fick vi ett rum på våning 6 på vindsvåningen. Rummet hade ingen AC och utan att mäta temperaturen tror jag att det var ca 28-30 grader i rummet. Trots att vi kom sent på kvällen kunde vi inte få ner temperaturen. Rummet vibrerade också, som om 42 tvättmaskiner stod två rum bort i korridoren på full centrifug. Att det var varmt är en underdrift. Morgonen därefter bad vi om en fläkt inför nästa natt. Istället fick vi ett annat rum på våning 1, den natten sov vi bättre än vi gjort på länge! Rummet hade AC och vi kunde sova lugnt utan vibrationer eller brummande. På det stora hela var det en positiv upplevelse, vi fick en god och varierad frukostbuffé och hotellet låg centralt och nära tågstationen.

Tolle Lage direkt am Wasserturm, sehr freundliches Personal und ein sehr schönes Frühstücksbüffet. Auch kurz vor Buffetende hat das Personal noch bereitwillig nachgefüllt.

Das Personal am Empfang und im Frühstücksraum waren ausserordentlich freundlich und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Schade, dass die Bar irgendwie nicht so läuft. Mein Chef wollte Unterlagen für mich an der Rezeption abgeben. Da bekam er die Information, dass ich nicht im Hotel gemeldet sei. Er hat dann der Dame meinen Namen schriftlich vorgelegt- vergebens, ich war nicht existent.

I only stayed here for the last day of my trip but I likely wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is old but beautiful, there was a very smokey smell as well but I understand this is often an issue, my issue was the a/c in the room wasn’t working and staff insisted that it did. So instead of offering to switch the room or accommodate they just repeatedly gave me the same instructions.

中央駅からも歩けるし、トラムの停留所からも近い。2回目の滞在のときはベランダ付きの広い部屋をもらえて快適だった。受付に1人しかスタッフがいなくて、チェックイン時に待たされたのが残念。

I had booked in for 2 nights as a solo female guest. When i got there they advised the restaurant and bar were closed and there were plenty places around that i could use. I specifically booked this as there was a restaurant and bar as i was travelling solo and didnt want to be going out alone at night

Very small room and initially poor service from reception. Spoke to duty manager next day. He was very helpful and resolved issues for our second night. Overall very clean and comfortable but both restaurants and swimming pool were closed.

The hotel has a great location, very convenient to the palace, water tower, and shopping area. The hotel's restaurants only open for breakfast during my stay. Fortunately, there are many other options within walking distance.

The rugs smelled in the corridors and in the room and the shower drape was filled with mould. The breakfast was ok. Everything you could wish for so nothing really to say there and the staff was super nice and helpful. But also very expensive to pay the same amount for breakfast for kids. Needs to be adjusted to free under 12 or atleast half off.
