My partner and I stayed the night and booked the biggest suite located on the second level. Receptionists was very welcoming. We loved the large spacious room, which was very clean. There was can drinks, water and snack foods that you could charge to your room. It had everything you need. The only complaints would be the spa bath was a bit on the small side and while your having a shower the bath would creak. The king size bed was old so you could feel the springs even though there was a puffy underlay. Traffic was noisy if you had windows open, not so much when they were closed. But it is on a main road so traffic noise is avoidable. Overall loved the overnight stay and would book again in the future.

This was a nice clean and safe room with ensuit bathroom and was walking distance to good restaurant options. The water from tap initially smelled a bit sulfury but it went away eventually. Parking was a little snug.

We stayed one night before an early flight. Check in staff was super lovely and nice. The room was dated but overall ok. Bed was ok but terrible pillows. There was a bra on the ground which made us a little worried about how clean the room was but the sheets did look fresh. Probably the biggest let down was that the car parks were tiny and there was not enough. We have a Ute so a bit of a bigger car and parked in one of the only parks we could fit in but then we went out to grab some dinner and when we came back there was a small car parked in the spot and due to the odd angles of the building the only spot left there was no way we could fit so had to park out on the street which ended up being ok but just disappointing when you book somewhere for the safer parking and end up having to park on the street.

This was our third stay here at the Fitzherbert Castle. We love how close it is to lots of dining options and a main supermarket. Our room was, as always scrupulously clean. Lots of Tea and Coffee options and love the little cookies

Very friendly welcome. Room had everything we needed. Only downside was we were in a ground floor room (as requested) and there was some noise from the room above. Also, being next to the stairs we got some noise from people going up and down the stairs. Location is excellent, lots of amenities within walking distance.

Room was dark and in need of a full refurbishment. Stayed for 6 nights and on one occasion bed wasn’t made, rubbish not collected and only 1 towel replaced. Motel was hard to find because hedge is growing over the sign and signage on the building doesn’t show up very well. TV so small it was difficult to watch. Overall the place just looks very tired.
