Walk through of our stay: Checked in on a Saturday around 4pm. On initial entry to hotel, it smelled of cigarette smoke. Not a good first impression. There was only one person working and she was very kind. Although she then told us that the elevator was out of service so the stairs would have to be used. We only had one bag so it wasn’t that big of a deal. She put us on the second floor, so we wouldn’t have to travel too far. Although when arriving in our room, it rate of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The TV didn’t work/also was not connected to Internet. Tried to call down from phone in room, but it said it was out of service. So we had to walk back down to the front desk to notify. She put us in a different room this room being on the fourth floor. Which added additional sets of stairs. This room was more suitable with no eww smells and TV worked. I will say the Airconditioner for the fourth floor must’ve been broken because the hallway was super hot. Our room did stay somewhat cool. At this point, we were just ready to get settled in. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel is for the breakfast. It was mediocre. More choices than just bagel and muffin, but still nothing to great. If I was to do it over, I would stay at another hotel and not worry about breakfast supplied.

The hotel was clean with comfortable beds. They had 24/7 coffee brewer that grinds fresh coffee beans we liked. The staff were friendly and spoke with you. The breakfast was average missing some we were used to like bacon slices and fresh waffles or pancakes. They had ground sausages and bacon crumbs. I did like the oatmeal with nuts and cranberries though. It was very close to the highway for easy entry and exit.

Our stay would’ve been perfect but the elevator didn’t work the whole weekend we were there. So every time we left our room we had to walk up and down the stairs and we were on the 3rd floor. Also the bed wasn’t comfortable either. The Staff was Great and the fresh baked cookies every evening were delicious.

The staff was very very accommodating during our stay, we got in late and they made the check in process so easy when we were tired and stressed. That being said, the hotel is right off the highway and incredibly loud. There is no sound proofing in the rooms at all it felt like. The rooms also felt very damp, and they had notices everywhere that the sprinkler and fire systems weren’t working, so maybe there was a leak in the system making the hotel very humid. The bed felt wet and like we were sleeping on a 30 year old mattress. Unfortunately will not be booking again, and was upset that the reviews were good for the hotel when I felt like it was very misleading.

For a practically brand new hotel it was very dingy. Dirt on the walls, light switch and the bottom off my shower were grimy and there was hair on my toilet seat. The staff was friendly and helpful but not a very clean hotel.

We stayed here for a quick overnight visit while we were relocating across country. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are a bit on the small side, and the in-room amenities are limited (no in-room coffee maker or desk area), but it was fine for a single night stay. The adjoining rooms were nice since we are a family of five. We appreciated that they welcomed our pup (and were VERY friendly toward him). The staff was very helpful and made check-in easy. The included breakfast was also nice.

I would describe stay as average. Its an IHG Hotel but the Holiday Inn X across the way would've likely been better. The room lacked amenities such as warer cups and coffee maker was removed. No Ice machine access or water station. Had to ask front desk for ice. When I asked about water station they said didnt have bottled water either. Continental breaky was instsnt eggs, nothing fresh. Id rate this hotel average.

We stayed here recently on a trip to Chicago. It’s about halfway between Chicago and Augusta, GA where we live so we stayed one night on the way there and then again on the way back. The hotel was great. Clean, breakfast included, everything we expected from the IHG name. The real highlight, however, was the staff. Kenny, the night clerk, made us feel welcome and had us laughing immediately with his humor. He also assured us that he would make sure our reservation was not canceled when we arrived later than expected due to inclement weather on the return trip. I did not catch the morning clerk’s name, but she was great as well. She gave my dogs treats and pets and made them feel welcome too. Five days later, when we were checking out in the morning, she saw me with the pups and remembered them by name! The food service ladies were also very friendly and pleasant. We will be back if we find ourselves in the area again. Highly recommended!

I made a reservation online with Expedia. When I got to the hotel, they said they had my reservation, but no room was available for me. This was at 10 o’clock at night. I was stuck, scrambling trying to find her hotel that had availability this late at night.

Staff was rude. Room was not cleaned when we arrived in said room. Had to wait an hour to check in so they could clean it. Then would not compromise on a later check out time. Rude when calling from room for any requests. Breakfast was great though. But very small window to eat because they ran out fast. Could hear people in hall cleats as day. Loud at night for sleeping. Would not stay here again.

We were all in bed (between 9&10pm) when someone used a key card and opened our door. We had the safety latch on and no one knocked after. When we arrived we were assigned a room. The key did not work and we heard people in the room. Then the one staff member that was actually on duty came up and found the room occupied already. We're being told those individuals should not be in the room anymore and they are searching for a room for us. We have been waiting an hour now and still do not have a room. Awful experience all around.

Even after asking two times a day for three days of my four day stay my room was never cleaned. Also they don’t take cash at all which I feel like any business in America should take cash. Staff was nice, but didn’t follow through on having my room cleaned.

I used my credit card for incidentals, left the room in satisfactory condition and two weeks later the deposit is still on my card. I had to dispute the payment with my bank. The front desk associate was in training and seemed to be unsure about how to process cards. New hotel and new staff. Hotel is next to interstate so it could be hard to sleep for light sleepers. Breakfast was good.

Chris greeted us and helped us check in, and he was a delight. Very friendly but still incredibly professional. Super comfortable bed, clean room… Great place to stay.

Staff was wonderful, cheerful and friendly. Room was great. Only change I would make is the bed with a thicker pillow top or memory foam as I could feel the springs and I'm an average sized person. Bed comforter and pillows were perfect! Breakfast was wonderful and coffee machines were amazing with the fresh ground coffee beans!

The staff was very friendly no complaints about customer service. The breakfast was basically eggs, bread, fruit. Crumbled up bacon bits some other meat for breakfast burritos that I couldn't identify. Be prepared to go somewhere else for breakfast.

We choose hotels which have the doors to the individual rooms opening to an interior hall, which this hotel did. The night manager was very welcoming. Our room was clean, and when we turned on the heat using the thermostat, it worked well. The hair dryer mounted on the wall in the bathroom included a night light...nice touch. The free breakfast was typical with cold and warm choices, however, no fresh fruit. We would stay again.

The breakfast was average missing some we were used to like bacon slices and fresh waffles or pancakes. They had ground sausages and bacon crumbs. I did like the oatmeal with nuts and cranberries though. It was very close to the highway for easy entry and exit.

We were disappointed this stay- we’ve been there several times before and had positive feedback- but this time was different. There was no soap in the shower, the hairdryer was in terrible condition-unusable- the tv color was purple. Things weren’t as clean and up to par as it usually is. No cookies on arrival or bottles of water like previous times for us IHG members.. the front desk staff that checked us in was very attentive and pleasant.

We stayed there for seven days, and my room was not cleaned once during our stay. However, the front desk staff was wonderful and continued to provide me with fresh towels and washcloths whenever I needed them. The cooking staff was outstanding, and the air conditioning worked great. The maintenance workers also did an excellent job, especially Alex.
