My stay was ok comfy double bed actually two smalls put together did have to keep pushing back together Was quiet the first night Some noise the Saturday night due to a private event overall for the money was good

Run down. Locked out of gate in the rain. Zero facilities. Poor room layout. TV nearly impossible to use. Bathroom poor design. No local place to eat. No bedside units. dreadful mattress. Useless desk in room.

Parking was easy during the day but after getting back from a day out we had to drive around to find a space due to a function at the adjacent venue The whole hotel including reception, reception toilets, bedrooms, corridors, bathrooms were dated and disgusting. There was work going on around the hotel. The receptionists were friendly and helpful though.

Great little hotel nice staff ,but be aware its a wedding venue ,i have stayed a few time but an event was on full swing one night and sadly i had a room near it, but that was only on one occasion in fairness ,its my choice of hotel in slough area near were i work

After travelling over 30 hours at least on arrival I was able to leave my case in the reception, that sadly is when the good ends 1. The room was hot the air conditioner didn’t cool room 2. Backside drawer broken, cabinet under sink falling off $water damage. Window “blind” only was thin & covered in stains 3. On the first night a large noisy party happened in the reception centre although not owned by the hotel, I was advised it should of finished at midnight, on 3 occasions I called out the window to get quiet, at 3.20sm the noise stopped. Jet lagged and obviously extremely upset I finally slept 4. No ability to contact reception 5. Before booking I checked the website, it said breakfast and dining was available, when I arrived this was untrue. The hotel was too far from any food outlets so I went without dinner every night and went to city for breakfast. There was also no small fridge in the rooms so no where to keep purchased food 6. Toilet seat broken 7. Stained & damaged walls and fittings 8. Stained bed 9. Basically one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. 10. I note the housekeeping ladies were lovely, but all they could answer was they’d report to management 11. On the 6th June I took a shower at 7am. No hot water. When I told the bail at reception who had told me before he was part of management he said sorry they were full and everyone else has had a shower and I had not had hot water because of this hotels need to have the facility to give hot water

Set in impressive grounds this hotel is just accessible for a one night stay. It’s obvious the hotel itself is run on a shoe string budget with some unacceptable issues. One is a lot of ants in the bathroom, and when showed to a member of staff they weren’t interested. The other was the TV had no remote or antenna cable, these were supplied on request! But WHY? Annoyingly with better management I think this could be a great hotel, security to the car parks were excellent and access to the local town centre is achievable on foot. Everything said it was the cheapest hotel I could find in the area on my particular date, so I guess that has to be taken into account.

Perfect for us. Beds were clean and comfortable. The room was clean also with all the amenities you’d need (shampoo, soap, teas coffees etc). Staff at check in were really friendly also. There was a function on the same night we stayed however we couldn’t hear anything from our room. We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. It was certainly good value for money. The grounds the hotel are set in are absolutely beautiful with secure parking too.

Parking fine, staff fine, accommodation absolutely appallin, bed uncomfortable, bathroom dirty,damaged fittings, bedroom walls dirty , heating on constant.

Turned up to a wedding party of 200 with full band in garden 22:00-23:00 rooms full of mold requested refund on 3 rooms received nothing checked out next morning without any refund on remaining 3 nights . Not happy with both Expedia or hotel. Stay clear of this hell hole

STAYED AT THIS PLACE A COUPLE OF TIMES BUT THIS WAS DEFINATELY THE WORST, THE ROOM WAS IN A STATE OF DISREPAIR PRETTY POOR CONDITION, SINK AREA ROTTEN IN PLACES, WALLS HAD DIRTY/SPLASH MARKS, FLOOR NOT GREAT, QUILT COVER DISGUSTING, WENT TO BED AND GOT BITTEN THE BED HAD BED BUGS APPALLING, INFORMED RECEPTION THE NEXT DAY THEY SAID THAT COULDNT HAPPEN BECAUSE ITS ALSWAY OCCUPIED, NO MATE IVE BEEN BITTEN ALL NIGHT FROM YOUR ROOM , NOT HAPPY DONT THINK I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN, HOTELS NEED TO UNDERSTAND THEY HAVE A DUTY OF CARE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS,

they have bedbugs!!!

Very poor. There was extensive mould on the ceiling. The shower was cold. The bathroom lights were flickering. Overall the building looked pretty run down.

When arriving at the hotel looked lovely from outside went entered the reception look like work was being done lady on reception very nice and helpful had few issues entering the room with plastic key card in the room it was very basic bed tele kettle etc walls dirty and headboard on bed very noisy when moving around .in the bathroom there was mould on the ceiling and side of bath the room was very light had a blind but light still came so up early no curtains

The property was not really a problem but our guests could not sleep in the night because of the presence of bedbugs.

Room had no curtains window didn’t lock. Was offered to kove at later date but i work nights so got used to hanging my towls over the window. Shower leaked from head but did work sufficiently. When i was leaving i did a scan of room and looked under the bed i wish I didn’t dound multiple foods and massive anount of dirt. If it was on 4 in a ned id like tonsee the scores. Not worth the money at all.

Hotel was affordable , and comfortable.but the need to improve on cleaning ,kettle was dirty there was no towels and soap in my room and bath tub was dirty i have to wipe it by myself before taking bath .

Staff were friendly and willing to help with issues within the room. The first room i was giving the air conditioning did nkt work and the walls were dirty i was then placed in a different room which was still dirty there was a dead fly on the wall and coffee spillage on the walls and floor.

We stayed here as we were attending an event at the same location, but really regret doing so. Whilst check in was welcoming, the room was abysmal. There was a stench of cigarette smoke throughout and the room was in poor condition and unclean. By far the worst was the bathroom which had black mold all over the ceiling. The sink tap was very wobbly and felt as though it would come off in our hand. The screen to operate the air con was smashed and flashing, we had to cover it with some clothing overnight as it was so bright. The room had a blind but it let a lot of light in. Our "view" was a car park complete with shopping trolley, an old bed and an old child's cot. It was quite loud in the morning with other guests on the move. We don't recommend staying at this hotel at all.

It was never mentioned during check-in or in their pre-visit follow ups that an entire wedding would be taking place directly outside the room window. I’m not talking that I could *see* the wedding, if the window was open I could touch the guests. The photobooth was set up against the wall adjoining my room. The blinds didn’t close fully so guests could see in until I turned out the lights. The sound was incredibly, incredibly loud until 12:30AM, and even after that guests still stayed. There was no A/C in a heatwave, but I also couldn’t open the window due to safety reasons (IE guests could literally come through the open window). The shower curtain was also mouldy and the bathroom light switch was broken so it wouldn’t turn off. I don’t know how the venue didn’t think it appropriate or necessary to mention the full scale wedding happening a foot from the room.

Nothing to brag about. Done the job. Run down building, and the bedroom stunk of smoke (with a previously used plastic bag covering the smoke alarm). Felt all the springs in the bed, so not the best sleep but provided somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights.

Over all it was good but wasn’t sound proof room

Room was falling apart, bed was like sleeping on a rock only supplied two small pillows on a double bed , one small wardrobe that was falling apart , exposed wiring , blinds didn’t open , noisy ac even though it was turned off still made and awful noise all night , was not sound proof could hear everything from other rooms , lights in bathroom don’t turn off ,decide to leave after first night and find other accommodation

This was my second stay at Baylis House - it is a convenient location for my needs and is very reasonably priced. The staff are extremely friendly, polite and helpful from the minute you check in to when you leave. I had a standard double this time and it had everything I needed. The only downside was that the mattress was awful and I could feel every single spring!! Nothing a mattress topper couldn't fix. I will stay there again but will treat myself to a superior room which I had the first time I stayed and was beautiful!

Fairly comfortable for sleeping and washing - no table or desk to work from so that wasn't ideal but it may be you can select a room with these features.

I have used this hotel many times as the parking is so good. However my last 2 stays have been awful. Booked a double and got a twin, no kettle, no TV remote, another time broken TV and dodgy window. When you mention anything they always say the manager deals with that ( who is never there) or tells you to complain through bookings as a third party booking. Now looking for somewhere new

Place and staff are fine but it's difficult to get hold of someonr after 7pm.

Room was 38 degrees when checked in with heating on full blast and window shut. Turned heating off and changed to AC. Didn’t work. Opened the window (which needed to be wedged open with a mug) but no breeze and temperature of the room wasn’t dropping. Went to reception to say AC not working. Staff meme we came to look and told me it would be fixed on Monday. I said not good enough as it is Friday night and I won’t be there Monday. Asked for a change of room or a refund to go somewhere else. Was brought a fan that had so stand so was placed on bedside table unsafely and he opened the window again then said “this okay ?” I said no. Again asked for a new room or refund. Was taken to another room. Same situation again. Went back to the reception desk and was told we couldn’t have a refund. I said that’s disgusting. Was shown another room (after being told there’s none available) and the AC worked in this room so accepted as it was past midnight by this point and we just wanted to go to sleep after travelling for 4 hours. When the staff member left the room the door handle fell off and flew across the room. At this point the hotel was that bad it was actually laughable. When going to sleep we also couldn’t find the light switch. It was behind the headboard obviously 😂, so had to pull that forward to turn the lights off. Bed was very uncomfortable. Very dirty bathroom, full of limescale, walls missing chunks out of them. Never again. Disgusting. Vile.

I came to.check in and room.tv didnt work.then moved to another room with broken bed then moved to twin room with faulty tv den another twin room. Got asked to pay £30 extra for fam room.when i wasnt with family

the overall experience was extremly poor the properly is in very poor condition and falling to pieces the service was terrible and the staff were rude with little to no idea what they were doing inwouldnt recomend this place to anyone

The man who checked me in was really nice, warm and welcoming. The photos of this hotel must be from a fair few years ago. The cleanliness of the building externally and internally is not great. As a pregnant women it was not nice being surrounded by dirty walls and constantly wanting to wash. There is no restaurant or bar yet online it states differently. Uber Eats was a constant delivery service to the hotel. The building has so much potential, but it is just shocking.

On the whole, my stays at Baylis house are very comfortable, they have everything I need & are close to where I need to be.

This property is pretty spectacular as you drive up. But then its confusing to find reception. Once inside the guy on the desk was very friendly and even walked me tonmy room. The property is old and could do with an update. But it was comfortable, and had all i needed for a reasonable stay 20 mins drive from airport. And it was really quiet. No AC like many UK hotels and even in Dec I had to open window. Im not sure why so many bad reviews for $60 I had comfy bed, tea, coffee and seemed pretty clean.

It was only one night as attended a wedding. Nothing to comment on, a basic room that met it's requirements. Yes it needs a little tlc but serviceable all the same.

Stayed for 1 night as a base for Windsor racecourse. Friendly staff. My bedroom was a bit dated and needs painting and some water marks on the walls treating. My bed was comfortable and it was quiet so had a good sleep. I dined in the restaurant, which did buffet style Indian food. The food was excellent at a very reasonable price. The staff were happy to talk me through all the dishes available

Rooms were nice but bathroom needs some cosmetics, other than that decent place to stay .. function room looks amazing though

I loved the beautiful wedding sala next door and banquet room. There was mold on the shower curtains, that’s the only real negative about our stay.
