Beautiful beach, great staff, decent buffet breakfast, don’t eat at the ocean deck or the sushi place, tend to run out of towels in the afternoon at the pool. Would consider staying here again. Best beach view in Beau Vallon. Lots of good places to eat nearby and small supermarkets. Area is very walkable and safe.

It seems to be an old hotel that is been renovated: even with the new rooms, the whole building is a little decadent, the ar con engines are put in the hallways, the pool and bar are also run down… Staff is very nice though! And hotel is on a really beautiful beach!

Personal ist bemüht und kümmern sich gut, trotzdem teilweise bisschen wild. Unterkunft schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen (riecht bisschen nach Gulli im Bad), trotzdem schöne Zimmer mit Strand, Meerblick schön, Pool schön, Liegen sind knapp (wir haben vormittag Ausflüge gemacht und hatten dann Schwierigkeiten noch einen Platz zu bekommen) Restaurants sind gut, aber nicht billig. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel, aber es fehlt noch ein wenig für 5 Sterne. Abwicklung total einfach. Hotel und alles drum und dran macht was es soll und ist deshalb grundsätzlich auch weiterzuempfehlen.

This is a story about a hotel or management GREED get a hotel located beautifully….but terrible place to stay. If you plan to come here and relax….you are wrong. The hotel management let people who don’t stay at the hotel come to pool restaurant and use the pool all day. The only thing they have to do is to buy a pizza and have a lot of noisy kids destroy your relaxing day at the pool. 2 adults person with 7/8 kids each were entire day in the pool and extremely loud. It became literally like kindergarten…They needed only to buy few pizzas and drinks to use the pool. It didn’t matter for the hotel management that we paid very high price for our stay… but we were forced to leave the pool area because of all loud noise. I saw multiple hotel guests who were staying at the hotel leaving the pool area. This is how greed for extra income makes a hotel look terrible !!!

Tolles Hotel, sehr schön direkt an tollem Strand gelegen. Super leckeres Frühstück mit riesiger Auswahl. Crêpe zum Frühstück, div. Brotsorten, Obst, Joghurt, Marmelade, Käse, Schinken, Waffeln, Eier in allen möglichen Zubereitungsarten (extra Station). Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Gehege mit drei Riesenschildkröten. Gläsener Aufzug mit Blick aufs Meer. Pool vorhanden. Zimmer wird täglich sehr gut gereinigt. In direkter Umgebung gibt es jede Menge Restaurants, aber auch im Hotel selbst kann sehr lecker gegessen werden. Super Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis!

The only small downside was some renovation noise near the lobby and pool, but overall I was very happy with my stay. I also had dinner on the property; although the staff were quite busy and meals came out at different times, they stayed attentive and checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay. Mycket bra service under hela vistelsen och vänligt välkomnande vid ankomst. Lite få solstolar vid poolen annars mycket bra. God och varierande mat! Lite tråkig restaurangmiljö för oss med halvpension. Det fanns två restauranger till som vi aldrig provade. Vårt rum kunde haft en bättre presterande AC, men den gjorde vad den kunde 😀

The property was very clean. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was delicious with many options. The hotel is right on the beach. It was just a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this hotel.

The Coral Strand Hotel is situated perfectly on one of the best beaches of Mahe. The hotel might need a little refurbishment, but the lack is made up by very many smiling faces and helpful hands within the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed all 13 days in the clean hotel.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été surpris de l’état de l’hôtel. Ne vous fiez pas aux photos. L’hôtel mériterait un rafraîchissement conséquent. La salle de restaurant est terne et froide. Nous avons été également surpris par le service au restaurant. Des employés non organisés, pas productifs et qui traînent des pieds. L’état de propreté du restaurant nous a également choqué. Tout semble sale. Les vitres sont dans un sacré état, des traces de mains partout, le sol à peine balayé, et le buffet pas entretenu non plus au fur et à mesure des passages. Heureusement que nous n’avons pas pris la demi pension car la qualité n’est pas au rdv. Nous avions testé un soir le buffet à 570 roupies. Les autres soirs nous avons marché 200 à 500m et trouvé de bonnes adresses moins chères et plus qualitatives avec du personnel sympathique. Seul le personnel a l’accueil a été souriant et volontaire. Le gros avantage de l’hôtel reste sa situation ultra proche de la plage. Nous avions aussi bu un verre au bar le premier soir, les tarifs sont exhorbitants. Vous divisez par 2 le prix d’une bière à quelques mètres.

The property was very clean. The staff were friendly, courteous, efficient and we want to recommend the staff cleaning our room. She was excellent.

We left this accommodation early as it was not suitable for us due to hygiene issues. The room showed several serious cleanliness and hygiene problems: visible signs of moisture and mould in the bathroom, stained textiles (including towels and curtains), a stained mattress, as well as lampshades and furnishings with clear moisture damage. In addition, there was a strong and unpleasant smell, likely caused by cleaning chemicals and/or dampness. Unfortunately, we also experienced health reactions (severely irritated and reddened eyes, skin reactions and sleep problems), which led us to leave the accommodation earlier than planned. The breakfast, which was booked and paid for separately, did not justify the high price (25 € per person): very basic selection, instant coffee, and overall poor value for money. Upon departure, we raised and documented the issues. During this conversation, we were asked not to leave a negative review, which made us feel uncomfortable. On a positive note, the staff was generally polite. However, the overall condition of the accommodation and the hygiene standards do not meet reasonable expectations in our view.

J'ai séjourné 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. j'étais dans la chambre 210 qui a une porte une communicante avec la chambre 211. Je n'ai pas trouvé ça hyper confortable. Ma chambre était propre, grande et bien agencée. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, il y a une belle piscine et une belle plage. Il semblerait qu'un des bâtiments soit en travaux, mais durant mon séjour, il n'y a eu aucun désagrément. Il y a pleins de petits restaurants proches et des superettes également. Mention spéciale à MK, Ezra et Jean-Paul pour leurs bonnes humeurs et leurs sourires quotidiens.

Good Service Amidst Renovation Challenges We recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience due to some unforeseen circumstances, but we still appreciated the efforts of the hotel staff to make our stay as comfortable as possible. When we arrived, we had booked an oceanfront room with two twin beds through Expedia. Unfortunately, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and none of the oceanfront twin rooms were available. In fact, there were no twin rooms available at all. As a result, we were given a partial ocean view room with one bed, and a movable bed was added to the already tight space, which made the room feel quite cramped. That said, the staff at the hotel were genuinely attentive and did their best to resolve the situation. Chamara, the hotel manager, offered us complimentary breakfast for most of our stay as a gesture of goodwill. Additionally, Sakura, who was at the front desk, was particularly helpful and understanding. She listened to our concerns and helped coordinate our room move. On the last day of our trip, we were finally moved to an oceanfront room, albeit a single bedroom, which was a great way to end our stay. While our room situation was less than ideal, the service provided by the staff made a significant difference, and we are grateful for their efforts. If you are planning to stay here during the renovation period, just be aware that room availability may not be as expected.

We booked an ocean view room. Our view was a cement wall 6 feet from our balcony. Location was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for ten days in April 25 and had a great time. It is very convenient for the beach at Beau Vallon and you can go out and have a walk around the area as everything is nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

The hotel either had a system issue or canceled our paid booking accidentally. As a result we were waiting the entire afternoon in the lobby being told repeatedly “sorry we are having no room.” There seemed to be a hope but then again “sorry we have no room.” Extremely suffering. Finally they got us a room newly renovated with bathroom leaking.

No problems. Staff very accommodating. Bar service a little slow as very busy.

Proximity to beach and nearby restaurants is a plus. Hotel has to provide reserved room type. I reserved sea view room but was initially offered a room without it. Had to refuse the offered room to be assigned a sea view room. It is no fun when you have to wait over an hour until the room is ready. That is very frustrating especially after long hours of flight.

The staff were very friendly and even upgraded our room for free, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, the breakfast buffet was great, and the hotel is right by the beach. They also kept our luggage after checkout, which was very convenient. The only downside was some renovation noise in the lobby area, but overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

The beach and the location of the hotel is good; besides that the food is terrible, the check-in experience was terrible, the hotel needs much repair/maintenance (tv turns on and off on its own, shower releases hot and cold water interchangeably when taking a shower, etc).

This large beach resort is in a great location on a beautiful beach. There hotel has three restaurants including a terrific buffet breakfast and there are several beautiful restaurants on the beach only a few minutes walk away. The rooms and lobby are run down and need a renovation badly. Is still a good value because is the location.

The hotel is in a perfect location right on the beach and just a few minutes walk from supermarkets and restaurants. The hotel has great facilities but is looking a little tired hence the refurbishment of one section of the hotel. There are building works going on 7 days per week but they operate after 9am and finish about 5pm. This didnt impact our stay as we were out during these times. The staff are amazing so helpful and friendly especially Kylie and 2 gentleman in Housekeeping. Really had a lovely time and would definitely return to this hotel

Es hat alles gepasst, sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Wunderbarer Strand! In der näheren Umgebung waren gute Restaurants mit abwechslungsreichen Speisen zu finden.

Mogenmaden var forfærdeligt. Ingen køling i spise områderne. Ellers var alt andet perfekt.

We had the best holiday. The hotel is right on the beach and also has a pool. We stayed on an half board basis so had to buy water which was expensive. Food is great each night was a different theme in the buffet. You also have the option to eat in the sushi and Indian restaurants on site.

Vi kan ikke anbefale å bestille halvpensjon på dette hotellet. Middag er buffet som må spises inne i et svært støyende lokale. Det er ikke tillatt å sitte ute. Vi argumenterte masse og fikk sitte ute to frokoster og middag nr 2. men dette var ikke i henhold til hotellets regler. Maten var god og betjeningen veldig hyggelig, men lokalet for buffé var helt forferdelig. I forhold til andre hotell vi bodde på på Seychellene var dette stort og upersonlig. Neste gang velger vi heller et av de mindre.

Coral Strand is one of the only hotels that truly is on the beach. The hotel in general needs updating badly but the amenities served their purpose fine. We asked for well-blended piña coladas, but the staff did not understand how tourists prefer their drinks. Mahek restaurant is the best for lamb curry. Find other food elsewhere.
