Check in system has chance for improvement, waited in queue for 30 minutes, and our “check in” took for 20 minutes (although we reserved for 4 days but in two type of the rooms) 2. 2nd reservation, the refrigerator still left with melted ice cream, the refrigerator makes feel its malfunction and need ourselves to clean for spaces for our drinks 3. 2nd reservation has lounge access but not for kids by default, although we have mentioned we don’t need that, but still charged us which need precautious check (additional with 40k jpy) 4. 2nd reservation at first charged us with two additional beds, which we have only with one additional bed (and seemed 6 year old no need for charging the breakfast with 2000 jpy?)

Please read this if you’re considering booking.I hope I can save you wasting your time and money. The good: the pool is clean, loungers were easy to find (off-season), staff were friendly, the lobby/guest areas are nice, and the location is beautiful with small private white-sand beaches. The shuttle was also useful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. We booked afternoon tea for 1pm. When we arrived, we were told the staff member had forgotten to make our reservation. We waited 1 hour 20 minutes and received no apology or compensation. We were fully charged and had to rush our tea because of other bookings. I had to go to reception myself to point out how unacceptable this was before they offered us one day of free breakfast. If I hadn’t complained, nothing would have been done. Despite advertising English-speaking staff, the receptionist had to use Google Translate. The gym is extremely basic for a luxury resort, and booking my massage involved the receptionist handing me the phone to arrange it myself??? There is also almost NOTHING to do. No library, games room, activities, entertainment, classes, cultural talks, or even comfortable spaces to sit and relax. Outside, you essentially have the pool loungers or one plastic chair. Restaurant service was similarly poor, we repeatedly had to approach staff ourselves, because no one came over to us. This is InterContinental. I expected luxury and received a standard far below. Do not recommend at all.

全体的に施設もきれいで、スタッフも親切で良かったです。子供も水上アスレチック含めて非常に気に入っていました。強いて言えば、ロビー階の構造の問題で暑かったです。部屋は問題ないのですが、ロビー階からの眺めはいいものの、暑くてゆっくりする気にはなれませんでした。また、プールの水も暑さのせいでお湯状態だったので、もう少し水温を下げる取り組みをして頂けたらと思いました。花火はプールから間近で見られて迫力があって良かったです。オーキッドの夜のショーも良かったです。
