Perfect location! Especially for the amount per night. Plenty of good restaurants and bars right around the corner and all walking distance to billet trains stations and attractions. I highly recommend also Hans is a great guest. Also a plus to have your own back area for breakfast outside and for drying clothes. Also Madrid was my favorite city compared to Toledo, Barcelona, and Spain. Can not recommend anymore than this spot. Also forgot to mention great air conditioning.

This was perfect for my week in Madrid! Great location near the train station, Metro, and the Reina Sofia. Super cute apartment with everything I needed, I was on my own but it would be super comfortable for 2.

This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay - AC, TV, separate living room, dining room, & bed room, private bathroom with shower, fridge, kitchen with cookware, and washer. We felt safe in the area and the apartment is very close to major attractions, like museums, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace, and Retiro Park. Big plus for us was it was only a 10 min walk to/from the Atocha train station. Hans is very helpful and responsive, which made our stay even better. He has provided us with guide books that helped us narrow down what to do and where to eat. Thank you so much, Hans!

Nice, cute, clean, quiet apartment, close to coffee, food, and train to Toledo and Barcelona (walking distance to Atocha station). The property service personnel speak English and meet you in person to give you the keys and show you the place. You get one key for the inner door and one for the two outer doors. Make sure to ask for guidance on how to exit without having to unlock the two outer (auto-locked) doors (it's not obvious).Like most apartments in Madrid, the window looks into a brick wall -- in this case, the wall of a smallish patio, which had not been cleaned due to the persistent rain, so we did not use it, but it has a small table and two chairs.This is a vintage apartment on the ground (bajo) floor. The small hot water heater is enough for 2 showers. The European-style wet-floor open-door shower creates a water puddle on the tile floor, but that's typical for Europe. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining table has enough seats for 6.The place is far enough from the merry crowds downtown to be quiet, yet close enough to be within walking distance to Plaza Mayor and most tourist attractions.

This ground floor apartment is super quiet as it looks out into an air shaft rather than the street. It features a fully equipped kitchen, laundrt, etc. The shower was spacious compared to the usual in Madrid and there was plenty of warm water. The location is a few minutes walk from Lavapiés metro which is also where the supermarket is. You can walk to Reina Sofia museum and many other places (or just take the metro). It’s a busy neigjborhood with tons of restaurants but the apartment is completely silent. I will stay here again!

We enjoyed this apartment and being able to walk to cafes and restaurants. It is decorated very cute with patio for fresh air. Great kitchen with washing machine and everything you need! The bedroom is small but it’s only for sleeping and Madrid is for having fun! Hans was a great host and very helpful.

O apartamento está muito bem localizado, é super silencioso, tem uma estação do metro (Lava Pies) a uns 200 m de distância em frente a um Carrefour 24 horas. Saindo do apartamento e andando uns 30 m, encontramos 2 mercados menores, mas com uma variedade muito grande de produtos. Muito próximo temos vários bares e restaurantes e pizzaria. O apartamento é muito aconchegante e bem equipado, possui fogão por indução, lava roupas, lava louça, torradeira e cafeteira Dolce Gusto, pratos, talheres, copos etc... O aquecimento funcionou perfeitamente, tem uma smart TV onde é possivel assistir NETFLIX, caso você tenha conta. Se um dia retornarmos a Madri, com certeza iremos nos hospedar novamente no apartamento. Fui recepcionado pela filha do Sr.Hans, a Valentina. O check-in foi antecipado e acabei me atrasando, pois me perdi dentro do aeroporto de MADRI, mesmo assim ela me esperou por cerca de uma hora e foi muito simpática, explicando tudo.

Everything about this stay was excellent. Close to cultural aspects of Madrid… we walked everywhere. Apartment perfect for our needs. Check in easy, extra supplies available including spices, toilet paper & paper towel. Some difficulties with Nescafé coffee machine.. owners came and fixed after we reached out. Cozy, loved the patio area. Close to subway ( although we didn’t use) close to grocery store, cafes & restaurants & unique shops.

My 2nd time at this property because: clean, well-equipped and close to Metro, 24 hour supermarket, downtown shopping and theater. There are tons of nearby restaurants and bars but I self catered and the kitchen had everything. I would say this is ideal for one person. Two would be a tight fit.

This was the perfect place to stay at the end of a long trip when we needed a nice home base for resting. The AC was amazing for breaks from the heat and the neighborhood had tons to do when we wanted to venture back out.

Excellent location on a ground floor with zero street noise. Usual apartment block dwelling noises, but ok. Very clean and comfortable with everything necessary. Tight space in bedroom and toilet as per pictures, but bed is super comfortable. Location is amazing.

I stayed for almost three weeks in this apartment on my own and had a pleasant experience. The flat is exactly as described and shown in the photos — comfortable, well-equipped, and cozy. It’s on the ground floor with a small patio; while it doesn’t get much direct sunlight, it remains a nice and welcoming space, even for a longer stay.The location is excellent — right in the multicultural neighborhood of Lavapiés, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bars just across the street. Despite that, it’s set on a quieter junction, so noise was never an issue. It’s also conveniently situated near the edge of Lavapiés, making it less hilly and offering quick access to main streets and public transport.Communication with the host, Hans, was smooth and easy, and I really appreciated the cleaning service during my stay. Overall, it was the perfect place for my time in Madrid.

The place is nice and clean. It is in a safe area close to attractions such as Prado, nice cafes, coffee pastry shop, grocery store, and metro stops plus Atocha train station. We would recommend wash cloths and more towels and pillows please. However, it is a very nice stay and very affordable.

Everything about this apartment is great. It’s located in a residential (not touristy) neighborhood that’s within easily walking distance to major attractions. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants are nearby. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped and the hosts were fine. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

It is a small apartment but the way it has been laued out and furnished is very good. Very clean and everything up to a good standard. Excellent communication from the landlord and his daughter who met us at 21.30 on our arrival. The apartment felt very secure in a typical Spanish city area. Local bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Good metro links with a station 5 minutes away. We didn't use the metro until the last night when we had to travel further for a concert. We walked most places. I don't think you would regret booking a stay.

The apartment is great with very responsive (and patient) owners. Apartment is on the first floor off an interior light well - making the unit very quite. Close to everything. The neighborhood is very vibrant and eclectic.

This ground floor apartment is super quiet as it looks out into an air shaft rather than the street. It features a fully equipped kitchen, laundrt, etc. The shower was spacious compared to the usual in Madrid and there was plenty of warm water. The location is a few minutes walk from Lavapiés metro which is also where the supermarket is. You can walk to Reina Sofia museum and many other places (or just take the metro). It’s a busy neigjborhood with tons of restaurants but the apartment is completely silent. I will stay here again!

We enjoyed this apartment and being able to walk to cafes and restaurants. It is decorated very cute with patio for fresh air. Great kitchen with washing machine and everything you need! The bedroom is small but it’s only for sleeping and Madrid is for having fun! Hans was a great host and very helpful.

My 2nd time at this property because: clean, well-equipped and close to Metro, 24 hour supermarket, downtown shopping and theater. There are tons of nearby restaurants and bars but I self catered and the kitchen had everything. I would say this is ideal for one person. Two would be a tight fit.

Cute, cozy apartment surrounded by lots of bars/restaurants and small markets. Was only about a block from Reina Sofia museum and easy walking distance to the train station and other museums. We felt very secure here. While we were fine with it, the bathroom was a bit smaller than anticipated, so if you are really tall or claustrophobic, it might be an issue. Besides that, it was a great place in an old traditional building with lovely big windows overlooking a tiny private patio.

I stayed for almost three weeks in this apartment on my own and had a pleasant experience. The flat is exactly as described and shown in the photos — comfortable, well-equipped, and cozy. It’s on the ground floor with a small patio; while it doesn’t get much direct sunlight, it remains a nice and welcoming space, even for a longer stay.The location is excellent — right in the multicultural neighborhood of Lavapiés, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bars just across the street. Despite that, it’s set on a quieter junction, so noise was never an issue. It’s also conveniently situated near the edge of Lavapiés, making it less hilly and offering quick access to main streets and public transport.Communication with the host, Hans, was smooth and easy, and I really appreciated the cleaning service during my stay. Overall, it was the perfect place for my time in Madrid.

This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay - AC, TV, separate living room, dining room, & bed room, private bathroom with shower, fridge, kitchen with cookware, and washer. We felt safe in the area and the apartment is very close to major attractions, like museums, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace, and Retiro Park. Big plus for us was it was only a 10 min walk to/from the Atocha train station. Hans is very helpful and responsive, which made our stay even better. Everything about this stay was excellent. Close to cultural aspects of Madrid… we walked everywhere. Apartment perfect for our needs. Check in easy, extra supplies available including spices, toilet paper & paper towel. Some difficulties with Nescafé coffee machine.. owners came and fixed after we reached out. Cozy, loved the patio area. Close to subway ( although we didn’t use) close to grocery store, cafes & restaurants & unique shops.

Valentina was very thorough with the instructions for the flat. She answered all of our questions promptly.The property was well kept and sufficiently supplied.We found plenty of places to eat in the area. A couple of recommended bakeries were close and we also found a favorite place for coffee.

It is a small apartment but the way it has been laued out and furnished is very good. Very clean and everything up to a good standard. Excellent communication from the landlord and his daughter who met us at 21.30 on our arrival. The apartment felt very secure in a typical Spanish city area. Local bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Good metro links with a station 5 minutes away. We didn't use the metro until the last night when we had to travel further for a concert. We walked most places. I don't think you would regret booking a stay.

Perfect location! Especially for the amount per night. Plenty of good restaurants and bars right around the corner and all walking distance to billet trains stations and attractions. I highly recommend also Hans is a great guest. Also a plus to have your own back area for breakfast outside and for drying clothes. Also Madrid was my favorite city compared to Toledo, Barcelona, and Spain. Can not recommend anymore than this spot. Also forgot to mention great air conditioning.

The apartment was wonderful and looked just like the photographs. The hosts were great and very accommodating when they could be and were very communicative. They were pleasant to deal with and friendly. The neighborhood is great. You can walk to the heart of Madrid in 20 minutes or Walk five minutes to the metro & in 2 stops you’re there. I will definitely try to stay there again on my next visit to Madrid!

This was the perfect place to stay at the end of a long trip when we needed a nice home base for resting. The AC was amazing for breaks from the heat and the neighborhood had tons to do when we wanted to venture back out.

Loved staying at this apartment in Lavapies. Co no ng home to the cuteness at the end of our days of exploring was lovely. The cuteness of the patio, the snugness of the bedroom and the cleanliness were all appreciated. We also enjoyed the short walk to Atoche for our day trip adventures, to restaurants for yummy tapas, and to beautiful street art, a passionate hobby of mine. Check-in was a breeze, Hans allowed us to check-in directly from our overnight flight and was waiting our arrival when we exited our taxi. Grocery stores were close for purchasing our breakfast foods and we used the laundry facilities (washer and drying racks) during our stay.

Appartement très original, fort bien situé près d’une bouche de métro et d’une grande surface ouverte 24 h sur 24. Nous nous y sommes beaucoup plus. Le proprio nous a même appelé un taxi au moment de notre départ. Une seule réserve et c’est bien peu de chose, il n’y a pas de fenêtres offrant une vue sur l’extérieur à l’exception d’une vue sur la terrasse emmurée, mais c’est incontournable compte tenu de l’architecture de la maison. The host was very charming and helpful. Explained a lot. Amenities were all there and well appointed. Good sized apartment. Downside being no hot water initially. This was fixed whilst we were out and they were quick to offer alternative accommodation and attended to it straight away. They could have checked before we arrived I suppose, but I guess you don't suddenly expect an immersion heater to stop working. The other issue was the bedroom window. The latch to secure it closed was missing. So it does let in surrounding noise and cold air if you are there during colder months. It is quiet for a central city location, but AC units are still nearby. They need to provide spare pillows for couples and a spare blanket for the colder months. Very good location and noise levels. There are radiators if needs be which are effective. AC in the living room and ceiling fan in the bedroom for the warner months. Good wardrobe space and kitchen facilities. Clearly a good place for longer stays, with a good sized kitchen table. It is ground floor and therefore the patio receives minimal light. Worth staying there again.

La habitación ya que es muy muy pequeña solo tiene30 cm para moverse teniendo en cuenta que es lo más importante para una estadía xq es lo que realmente se usa pues prácticamente se viene a dormir . Eso podría mejorar si hace un cambio en la pared ya que se siente uno totalmente encerrado .
