Amazing hotel with 5 star dining options - we particularly enjoyed the Staten Grill. Breataking views from the infinity pool. Highly recommend.

The hotel is modern, clean and luxurious but a bit sterile. The many high end bars and restaurants are all behind closed doors and there is no casual bar or lounge area to watch sport or have a coffee or a drink. The pool closes at 6.00pm, but a DJ pumps loud dance music into the empty poolside bar all night, which we could hear from our room many floors above. The only way to leave on foot is the driveway ramp, which has no footpath.

Beautiful property but last day they had a concert which was so loud that we couldn't rest in our room. They should have informed us ahead of time and given option to move our room to the other side. Also at check out, they were not able to refund the pre auth amount back to us due to machine malfunction so hoping to hear back from them soon on that.

Vi valde Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams för att avsluta en månadslång resa, med förväntningar på ett nybyggt lyxhotell. Tyvärr blev vistelsen en besvikelse. Under vår vistelse lämnade housekeeping vår rumsdörr blockerad från att stängas genom ett ihopvikt papper. Rummet stod därmed olåst i flera timmar medan vi var vid poolen. Detta är en mycket allvarlig säkerhetsbrist. Vi rapporterade händelsen direkt men fick ingen snabb återkoppling, vilket gjorde att vi kände oss tvungna att checka ut i förtid, trots att vistelsen var fullt förbetald. Hotellet har senare erkänt felet skriftligen och bett om ursäkt. Utöver detta noterade vi flera brister: Inga sockerfria läskalternativ, endast vatten. Stort fokus på fet mat och bakverk, men mycket begränsad tillgång på färsk frukt. En pool med synliga alger på botten. Mögellukt i duschen. Ouppmärksam service och ibland felaktiga dryckesbeställningar. Vi har bott på betydligt enklare och billigare hotell i Sri Lanka som hållit högre standard när det gäller säkerhet, renlighet och service.

We moved here from another luxury brand hotel after coming for dinner and drinks, and were completely blown away — so much so that we changed our stay. The hotel is spotless and beautifully new, with stunning amenities. The infinity pool is fantastic, and the breakfast selection is huge. What truly sets this hotel apart is the service. Everyone was exceptional, especially Tuan and his team in Gatz, Nipun at reception, and DJ Groove Rider, whose music in Gatz created a brilliant atmosphere. The rooms are outstanding. We had a beautiful double-aspect room with views of both the sea and the city. Everything felt fresh, modern, and incredibly well appointed, and the bathroom was exceptional. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. A truly brilliant hotel — we will definitely be returning and wholeheartedly recommend it.

bo We had a wonderful two-day stay at Cinnamon Life and truly enjoyed every moment. Everything — and I really mean everything — was excellent. The hotel’s architecture is stunning and modern, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable, and the cleanliness and hygiene were clearly of a high standard. Every detail felt well thought out and well maintained. We genuinely hope that the high quality of service and standards we experienced will continue in the future. Cinnamon Life is a place we would absolutely recommend, and we would gladly return. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

The hotel was luxurious and the room was a big size with excellent amenities. The only issue was that the panels on the wall to operate the lights and curtains etc kept flashing every 10 seconds all through the night. We reported this and were told it was a fault and we were moved to another room. However we waited for more than 45 minutes for the porter to move our cases when we were originally told it would be 15 minutes.

The staff need to be re-trained. House keeping was inconsistent - four towels, then two. Six waters, then none. Laundry had to be chased. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were appalling. Cutting in front all the time when walking, standing in groups talking whilst we were trying to open doors. Being told to move tables! Unhelpful at best. This is not a five star experience. Not even close.

amazing new and fresh hotel. We had twin bed room, cean, big bathroom, and room in general. Amazing view right on the LOTUS tower. We where in room 1907. Great buffet, we had it for dinner one time, lunch and breakfast. We stayed two nights. The only thing its a bit on the pricey side the other restaurants, with less food options, so we ended up on the buffet mostly where the variation and value for money clearly are the best. mall connected to it very few shops open. Would come bac.

Rooms were very spacious and modern. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent with a wide variety of options. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Pradeepan the duty manager, who arranged a late check out for us and Afzal for handling our luggage with care.

Just an amazing hotel. Shopping, bars, food and the service was best of the best. Some negative, long time to check in during rush hour.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine care. Ms. Dipali Deore, G. R. E, greeted us with a heartfelt Ayubōwan like no other and made us feel instantly at home. She went above and beyond, personally escorting us to our room and giving us a detailed walkthrough of the in-room and hotel amenities. Her passion for service was truly evident—she serves from the heart. At the front desk, Mr. Fayaz, Manager on Duty, led his team with professionalism and grace. Mr. Adhil Marikka, our check-in agent, was both professional and accommodating. After our long-haul journey from New York City, Adhil ensured a swift and seamless check-in, honoring our request for a Lotus Tower view and making the entire process efficient and stress-free. A special shout-out to the transportation coordination team, who ensured that all our local transfers were punctual and smooth. A shout out to the transportation and F&B team for the phenomenal job done. The team on June 3rd was among the best I’ve encountered in my global travels as a frequent traveler.

Horrible check-in We had to call multiple times to fix the bed for 3 people. Check in the reception staff have not been trained properly. We had lots of miscommunications. Stuff need to be trained.

Service - felt some what chaotic as lots of staff standing and greeting but felt lack of organisation and knowledge how to help We arrive 2 pm and room was not ready until 330 pm When we left the hotel no one to put the luggage in to our taxi as probably high rank officer was looking for them
