The Harvey is a sophisticated and amazing journey into the history of New Bern,NC. The rooms and sitting area are impeccable and beautifully decorated with original paintings. There is a small history museum on the third floor well worth visiting. The hotel is not handicapped accessible, but rooms on the first floor could be accessed and would be very appropriate.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! Was only guest so extremely quiet! Right in downtown at the water! Peanuts candy and water in the room as a sweet treat ! No restaurant bar pool or other amenities but wasn’t needed for me!

Beautiful renovation of a historic site. Within walking distance to everything downtown. Secure building with minimal noise. Stayed on ground level with no noises from the room above. Very clean with luxury bedding and towels. Cleaning staff is very efficient, for minimal disruption use the do not disturb door hanger. Great new find in New Bern!

Lovely hotel, great location, very comfortable rooms and easy parking. Checking in to my room to find Fox News blaring on the TV - NOT OK. When a business chooses to align itself with bigotry and hate, I will not frequent it. As much as I would have loved to recommend your hotel to my friends and family, I cannot support having this type of welcome. Sorry. You can do better.

Awesome room and excellent location and completely walkable. Everything is all right there. Room and facility were extremely clean. If I was to change one thing it would be the location of TV. Move to be directly in front of bed instead of off to the side. We would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

This is an amazing e- boutique hotel. Everything is pristine. As soon as you enter, there is a feeling of peace. The decor is spot on, the cleanliness and freshness is well above traditional hotels, and the overall charm is unmatched. Couple this with the joys of downtown New Bern and it is a perfect recipe for a quick trip to recharge.

Adaptive use of a historic brick mansion and office yields a top notch stay. The small hotel is excellent in design, presentation, accommodations, and unusually thoughtful design. Historic structure and interiors have been well improved and utilized without being overdone or faux. Staying in lots of small fine hotels, we are seldom so impressed.

The hotel was stunning, from the moment you entered the car park, through the front doors and into the room - every detail was perfect. I stayed on the second floor and had wished I was staying longer. I will be back to stay longer and enjoy the hotel longer.

Great renovation of a 1797 building. Small Suite room provided ample space for 2 adults. Better than most B&Bs in the area. Two items might need attention: receptacles in the bathroom where one opposite the sink would be welcome with a small table for the ironing board. The shower area is beautiful, yet too small and can easily be enlarged and have coat hanging area smaller and face toward the door. Overall no problem for just a few nights. Still an A overall…

Such a unique property with a ton of historical charm, while also being modern and convenient. The bed wasn't comfortable for me, but that's preferential, so someone else may love it. Weekend road noise was also a bit of a pain but no fault of the venue. Loved our stay overall and will be back!

It is an amazing building with rich history and also the latest modern amenities I especially like electronic check and check out which is very convenient. I also found the artwork and the millwork on the Crown molding very impressive and felt like living in the museum.

Loved this place so much! I would come back to New Bern just so I could stay at this hotel again. Very clean. Bed was comfy. No front desk so you check in through a code. I missed the personal touch but it was a fair trade off.
