Had very nice air conditioning, room was above the bar and was very very noisy. Clean and great housekeeping staff. Pools are not great. Nice location, but near bars, so that is great if you don’t mind the noise. Elevator is handy when working.

Love the hotel but disappointed that construction made it impossible to use either pool and the jackhammering was hard to take every day. I wish we would have had a heads up about this before we booked.

This is a hidden gem, with many restaurants in the area to choose from. There is no coffee service unless you purchase coffee grounds and bottled water for your coffeemaker, but there is a coffee and pastry shop 3 doors down. The rooftop pool area is lovely, but with no bar. Our unit had a full kitchen, so we could bring our drinks up and enjoy the beautiful views.

Pros: Beach is one block away. Rooftop has a pool and a beautiful view of the beach. Relatively quiet. Cons: The hotel does not provide beach towels. Wi-Fi reception very weak in the room. It was ok in common areas and outside the room.

Todo estuvo excelente el único detalle fue el elevador que casi todo un día no sirvió estuve en el 5 pizo de mi parte no hay problema pero en ocasiones viajo con mi mamá que es adulto mayor y ella por problemas de cartilago no puede subir tanta escalera ahí que hubiera pasado

This hotel is a hidden gem!!! The perfect location to everything. The front desk staff are very accomodating, the property is absolutely spotless. The pools were very refreshing and the roof top area was breathtaking with beautiful views of the bay. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

A very nice, traditional hotel. BUT the sewer gas coming up through the bathroom drains was unbearable. This was a recrenovated bathrpom too. Thankfully we were only there one night. Slept with the bathroom door closed and a towel along the bottom of the door.

My husband and I have come to the Eloisa for many years. My hubby is handicapped and loves to watch everything going on at the park from the balcony. Those suites were not available to us on check in Nov. 01, but maybe by Nov 4. So I booked a second week. Lilli said then nothing avail at the front for us until 10th. Then I cancelled the second week. Lilli was not helpful or kind to my husbands condition. The suite we had just had a view of a wall and everyone walking downstairs had a full view into our suite so we had to sit in the dark with the shades closed. The suite was not clean, there was garbage from previous guests left in the cushions of the sofa, no light bulb in the fridge, the shower track was black, the cushions of the sofa were all stained. I left my coffee cup for a few minutes on the table and when I returned it was covered in ants. It was most disappointing experience.

The room smells bad and long hair all over the beds / sheets / pillows…seems like they did not wash the sheets from prior guests! DISGUSTING!!!!! The bathroom was filthy and when you shower the water flows all over the bathroom floor making it very slippery! I almost slipped 3 times (dangerous bathroom)! I DO NOT recommend Hotel Eloísa to anyone! Only plus — very near the beach.

El check in fue fácil, y el personal muy amable, es la segunda ocasión que me hospedo aquí y sin duda voy a regresar. La ubicación es excelente, las camas cómodas, es un lugar que funciona perfecto para llegar a descansar y estar fuera todo el día. The hotel is kept exceptionally clean. The staff very accommodating - even those with limited English. The beds in the small, but comfortable room, are very very comfortable. Of course, the location is prime - with magical views from the rooftop, and bars, restaurants, the ocean, and the pier all extremely close. The hotel is across from a beautiful park. Highly recommended for economical budgets.

Cons: our bathroom had a sewer smell; rooms 111-116 are right above a club and can be loud. Despite the cons, would stay again, just in a different room.

I would have given 5 stars except for no WiFi in rooms. Each room has a cable box which turned out to be its own WiFi router with password in the router. Even so, signal was really bad. There is “passable” WiFi in common areas (8-20mbps). Besides this, location, amazing. Room, amazing. Staff, amazing.

We stayed in a room on the 5th floor facing the park. We had an excellent view. We could see the ocean when sitting on the bed. A/C worked great. Room could benefit from a refrigerator. Also, it would be nice to have a small bedside light or a dimmer switch for the overhead light. The overhead lights lit up the place brighter than the sun.

The location was why I chose this spot, and I wasn't disappointed. It was a block from the beach and a block from the gay nightlife area. Very convenient. It's not well situated if you are trying to get a lot of sleep, though, as the noise from the park across the street is loud and nonstop from 8am until after midnight. Hotel staff spoke English reasonably well.

The room we were given was unacceptable and nothing like their photos. We were placed in a different room the morning and it was fine. Ask for a view of the square/park as the interior rooms are not good.

Just got back from 2 week stay, so I got a good dose. Overall, the place was great. Room 2nd piso facing park. AC worked great, clean, no problem. Roof top y pool my favorite. Nice pool y beautiful views of bay y mts. But very noisy y I expected that. Older single, so I'm in bed before bars go nuts, ear plugs helped. Great stay, just know you are in, or close to, party central. Easy check in-check out. Secure safe. Wi-Fi only in lobby.

I just got home from a 26 night stay at Hotel Eloisa 💕 The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is cute, very clean, great location and I felt very safe a solo woman. Thank you to the wonderful staff for an amazing, welcoming stay.

The location is good - close to the Malecon, good restaurants, and a great café called A Page in the Sun. The front desk crew was very rude during check-in and they refused to acknowledge us when we went down to the desk for assistance. Our room was a studio. It was: tiny, no fan in bathroom, the lighting was terrible, NO view, no lamps, only one wash cloth, a goopy liquid in a bowl next to the sink (not sure what it was. Maybe dish soap.) We didn't use it, nor did we use the hot plate or mismatched cheap silverware and dishes. The tiny little refrigerator had no door on the freezer compartment and it was iced over. The bed was not comfortable. The pillows on the bed were great. Hey, there was something to like after all. This hotel may have some rooms that have been updated and are nicer than the one we had, I don't know. But I still would not stay there again due to the rudeness of the guy at the front desk.

The Eloisa is a perfect location for me. It's in the RZ and half a block from the beach. With the park below, there is very little traffic on the street. It's simple but clean. Always hot water for showers and coffee in the lobby in the morning. Wifi is iffy but they do say that. The day staff (Dora) is always friendly. The night staff could be a little more so.

The property was ok. The day staff was friendly and smiled. The night staff was the opposite. Never smiled ir even made eye contact. The visitor policy is not good if you have friends who want to stop by. They charge $20 per visitor

Well we got to the hotel and they didn’t even have our reservation ready, and they couldn’t find it, after that we had to wait like 20 minutes for them to finally find it and at the end we ended up paying more because they said it was only for two adults even doe our room was for 4 adults with two beds. The two ladies at the front weren’t even nice when they were asking for our information the only people that was nice was the bellman/porter.

The room we were given was unacceptable and nothing like their photos. We were placed in a different room the morning and it was fine. Ask for a view of the square/park as the interior rooms are not good.

This hotel is located in the middle of everything. Great location to step out into high dense area. If you don’t like crowds don’t stay here. I knew before and it’s what I wanted. Great vibe. Room was quiet bed was very hard, which I like. Some English channels on small tv was cool with me. Had a security guard at night in the lobby and a lot of police in the area locked and loaded. Great one night stay. Rooftop pool with view of the park which setting up for a big music event this weekend. Go problem: water went out the day I left in the whole area. It was planned tho some biz’s didnt know before hand

Weekend trip... the location is superb and central. Easy walk to the Malecon and beaches. The city is vibrate with different entertainment options. Live bands, clubs, bars and just a place to decompress. The park is lively. But make sure you grab and interior room for a peaceful nights sleep.

This is an older hotel that is very well maintained from what I could see. Some of the bathroom amenities are a bit dated but functional. Plenty of hot water and the beds were quite comfortable. Location is amazing if you want to be a part of the heart of PV. Lots of places to eat, drink, and make new friends.

The location was why I chose this spot, and I wasn't disappointed. It was a block from the beach and a block from the gay nightlife area. Very convenient. It's not well situated if you are trying to get a lot of sleep, though, as the noise from the park across the street is loud and nonstop from 8am until after midnight. Hotel staff spoke English reasonably well.

This is a hidden gem, with many restaurants in the area to choose from. There is no coffee service unless you purchase coffee grounds and bottled water for your coffeemaker, but there is a coffee and pastry shop 3 doors down. The rooftop pool area is lovely, but with no bar. Our unit had a full kitchen, so we could bring our drinks up and enjoy the beautiful views.

Pros: Beach is one block away. Rooftop has a pool and a beautiful view of the beach. Relatively quiet. Cons: The hotel does not provide beach towels. Wi-Fi reception very weak in the room. It was ok in common areas and outside the room.

Price charged was not price quoted on hotels.com which was extremly overpriced for no bottled water or breakfast and No wi fi in rooms, only in common areas. I would expect a smart TV with alternative watching choices such as Netflix or Prime for $230.00 CAD a night

Pros Location location location - excellent Pool - also excellent Has an elevator price - very affordable for the location Cons Neighborhood construction while at the pool Crappy wifi, supposedly only in the lobby or pool, and occasionally in the room. Appears sporadic. Pool wifi worked only about 2 of the 8 days. Had to request do not disturb signs and blankets TV remotes don't work Forgot to check prior to booking and the is no fridge or safe included in the room, so if you need one... check. Fridges are available to rent if they have enough. I know, this one is totally on us, they never said they had it. And they did have one available so maybe this should be a pro? The place was remarkably clean and accessible (walking) in a great part of Vallarta. And it was lower priced for the great area it's located. The amenities were lacking -- but we adjusted. There was no refrigerator, no ice machine in the building, no drinking water, no complimentary coffee in the lobby, no light for reading over the bed, no wi-fi on the 4th level. The hotel was ok, clean and kept up. I did have to change rooms after a piece of furniture fell off the wall, but that was kind of a freak thing. It's right by the Zona Romantica, but if you're gay and want to be in the heart of the gay area, another place might be better. Also, I asked about bringing anyone to my room and it was going to cost 500 pesos, which is not so much but is also a lot by local standards. What caused me to give the place a high rating was the staff — so friendly, so on top of things. Every single one of the six or so women on the housekeeping crew were delightful; same with the people at the front desk. Also, they have safe deposit boxes that require two keys to open: you hold one and they have the other, so super-secure.

Room was clean but no outside view only into hallway. Well located to get to everything. Nice rooftop with good view. Closer to the market and some nice nearby bars with happy hour. Ready access to Malecon. Small pool on roof, additional pool on ground level which was quieter but cooler temperatures
