Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam

I rarely leave hotel reviews although this place deserves a special mention. Excellent staff, excellent gym and spa facilities and also walking distance from all major shops!

ロビーやロビー横レストランの雰囲気が良い。フロントに日本語対応スタッフが一人いて、親切に対応してくれた（電源の変換プラグも妻用と2個貸してくれた）。部屋はコンパクトでキレイ。近くに飲食店やコンビニなど多数あり便利。　〇プールやジム：宿泊者は無料で利用できるのは良い（15ｍ×4コースほど。屋外ジャグジーもある）。ただ基本的に現地会員向け（宿泊者ではない）がメインなのか？別料金必要のサウナ利用をしない宿泊者はあまり配慮されていない感じ。ロッカーキーがもらえず、どこで着替えていいのか迷った（英語も韓国語も得意ではないので、詳細聞けなかったこちらが悪いのですが）。

A gem hotel find. Has the best gym sauna pool floor we have ever experienced . Even provided a lovely bottle of 🍷 and delicious chocolates unexpected on my 70 th birthday.

다 좋은데 주차장 내려가는 도로가 비좁고 지저분하고 깔끔하지 못하네요 이정도면 걍 발렛 무료로 서비스 해야 할 듯 합니다.

One of the better places I've stayed in Korea. And an amazing gym and pool.

Great gym and great sauna(many different temperature jacuzzis in the sauna). Room was great size. It wasn’t huge but big enough for two people and tow suitcases. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything in Gangnam and about 20 minute cab ride to everywhere else. I would highly recommend staying here for the value it’s great. Can’t complain and would stay here again. Ps. I travel all the time and I’m in hotels pretty regular.

部屋の風呂場の老朽化。 ジムは無料だが、サウナは有料。 まだ、ライブバーがオープンしてなかった。

宿泊時にサウナ利用可のプランといわれ、娘とスパへ。スパで受け付けを済ませて、スタッフの方からロッカーを受け取り、中へ。 サウナには入らずシャワーをしていると 他のお客様より韓国語でクレーム。 何歳かと聞かれ11歳と答えると子供はスパに入れないと。ホテルからはフロントでも説明はなく、スパの受け付で娘も受付した後に、スパ内でそのような他客からの指摘にとても驚きました。

施設自体は少し古いですが、客室は清潔に保たれています。従業員の方もとても親切で快適に過ごすことができました。

세면대는 금가있고 에어컨에 곰팡이껴있고 청소안하시나봐요 직원분들은 너무 친절하셨는데 위생이 별로였어요

Property not clean at all

There were a few hiccups but the staff was accommodating. First room smelled like cigarettes. The second room had a lot of mold in the shower but I stayed a few days. The third room which I stayed in last year, was good but everytime the AC kicked on it would be soooo cold but when it was off it was hot. I think the vents needed to be aimed upward. And the shower would run hot and cold. I liked that the beds are so comfy. And it was quiet. You wouldn’t hear your neighbor upstairs running around in the am. Their food service was fast and of high quality food, though expensive as to be expected. The housekeeping service if you needed something was fast. The showers had a good flow. The toilets are the kind with warm seats and cleaning features. It’s near the subway but since I don’t understand their subway that was not beneficial to me. It is up a big hill so hopefully walking isn’t an issue for you. For some reason the entrance is hard for the taxis to find so make sure you insist they bring you to the front door and not just drop you off in the street.

침구가 너무 간지러워요. 아침에 일어나니 벌레 물린 자국이 저뿐만 아니라 일행에게도 있었어요. 전에도 침구관리가 안되서 온돌방이라 관리가 소홀했나 싶었는데 침대방도 역시나 관리가 안되있습니다. 밤새 간지럽고 따가워서 잠설치다가 새벽 다섯시에 잠들었을정도입니다. 다신 가지 않을 예정이나 호텔이라면 침구정도는 깨끗히 관리하는게 좋아보입니다.

The hotel is located at a very high altitude, and the road from the street to the hotel entrance is extremely steep. It requires good physical strength to climb up, especially if you're carrying luggage. The bed sheets in the room often have stains or holes, and slippers are not provided daily. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the subway station, so it's not particularly convenient.

They gave me a room with a bathtub when I communicated to them that I had been staying in a university dorm with no bathtub for the whole winter! I would be forever grateful for that! The room was very spacious and nice!!

Great location and walking distance to subway stations. The room felt a little dated as the carpet was lifting in multiple places in the hotel room. However, can be overlooked with great service and location.

화장실에서 욕조를 드나들때 조심스러워 보입니다. 술취한 숙객, 환자나 노인의 경우에 부주의 할 경우 욕조 턱에 발이 걸려 부상으로 이어질 수 있을 가능성이 있어 보입니다. 또한 옷장을 여닫는데 소리가 나는 점이 조금 아쉽습니다. 또한 공조기에서 소리가 나서 밤에 끄고 자야했습니다. 스프링쿨러가 벽면에 튀어나온 것이 보기에 좋지 않았습니다.

There is a bus from the airport that will stop directly in front of the hotel, very convenient. Staffs are very friendly and professional. Room is big, clean but a little old. Bed is very comfortable. I had a good sleep.

We are stayed 4 days at this hotel, The staff’s relations really poor and rude. Especially, 3rd floor reception woman is very rude. Because When my family going to swimming pool

We stayed for 7 nights and will never stay there again. They asked our car license plate number so it can be registered to use the parking garage freely during our stay. For 3 consecutive days we had to ask them to register our car as it was not. Of course, the first two times they said it will be taken care of, however, it took them 3 days to finally get it done which was inconvenient. Also, the room we were staying the door doesn't shut completely automatically and so we had to pull it hard to shut. We received a call a day after we had checked out (checked out on Sunday) asking us if we had used toothbrushes and drank a can of beer from the mini bar. We told them we didn't and asked if they were calling for a customer that used the room after us. The staff sounded lost and at that point figured out that she made a mistake by calling us instead of the customer who had checked in after us. We are normally good with everything if things are up to normal standard, however, despite of being a 4-star hotel, our satisfaction was below 5 out of 10. Yes, there were a couple of nice staff - seems like they have been working for a longer period as you can tell the ways how they resolve the issues vs staff who is fairly new seems like they just don't want to be there. I guess we had a high expectations for this hotel which brought more of a disappointment.

When I booked two rooms for myself and my friends at Novotel Ambassador, I was looking for very good location, comfortable clean rooms was our top priority and Novotel Ambassador fulfilled all these. The concierge staff was very helpful. My friends are happy, thanks to them.

Checking experience was terrible bad bad bad for a 5 star, i was charged for an extra bed even of my reservation was for 3 persons. Also they told me they can put the bed next day. After calling supervisor they added the bed with charge. Not a 5 stars customer service

Inconvenient location up on the hill.

The hotel is very well located. It is clean, the staff are attentive and speak excellent English.

ホテルはすごく良かったです！ ただ坂が本当にキツかったのと、空港に向かうバスが正面玄関から乗れるのはすごく良かったのですが、いつもは1時間掛からず空港に着くのに、2時間少し掛かったので、ギリギリでした。

ホテルから徒歩3分圏内に三ヶ所コンビニがあります。 地下鉄新論峴駅から徒歩5分。 地下鉄新論峴駅周辺まで行くと江南ショッピングエリアが広がり、販売店やレストランが多数あります。 仁川空港からのリムジンバスもホテルに停車します。 総合的に判断して、良いホテルだと思います。

Dont like location on the hill

ホテルはとても過ごしやすかったです。朝食ブッフェも美味しかった。ロケーションが坂の上なのがちょっとつらい。

I got food poisoning from eating at the lobby cafe last Wednesday. Otherwise the service and facilities were fine.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel was gorgeous and the amenities plentiful, especially the wonderful fitness center/spa. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. We highly recommend! Special thanks to Alex K. at registration for going out of his way to take care of us. His professionalism and helpfulness was outstanding.
