I was unsure how many stars to give this riad. The service deserves 5 stars - huge thanks to AbdeSalam and Mohamed for being so helpful and welcoming. As for the riad itself, here are the pros and cons: Pros: • Excellent location near Jemaa el-Fnaa (behind Café de France) • Traditional Moroccan style • Friendly customer service • Daily breakfast included • AC and Wi-Fi available • Mint tea and pastries on arrival • Room cleaned and towels changed daily • Walking distance to souks and restaurants Cons: • Very old building • Noisy - thin walls and loud doors • Low doorways (watch your head!) • Outdated bathrooms with a moldy smell • Strong fragrance in the building • Saw cockroaches in the room and pool area There are two buildings: the main one (some rooms and for check-in and breakfast) and a second one called “Terraces” where we stayed. It’s a short, safe walk between them. Our room was basic but had essentials like a safe, shampoo, and tissues. Overall, great staff and location, but the building itself could use updates.

Firstly the Riad seems to have several names and was difficult to find. Then the driver failed to collect me from the airport. However: it is a delightful little riad, perfectly situated near the Jama al Fna square. Its rooftop restaurant was good, although the service was slow. The room was simple and comfortable. The staff were an absolute delight: charming, helpful, intelligent and a lot of fun. In particular I would mention Abdeljalil.

Das Riad ist ganz am Ende einer enge Gasse, nett gelegen, schöne Dachterrasse. Aber Mann wollte uns umbuchen in ein anderes, "da es voll sei" nach freundliches ablehnen unsererseits war auf einmal wohl ein Zimmer frei.... Enkelt men rent och trevlig personal. Altid vänliga och villiga att hjälpa till. Fixade utflykt och transfer. Ligger centralt vid nattmarknaden men ändå lugnt och skönt. Fin frukost med lite variationer.

Very close to Jemna el Fna, super friendly and acommodating staff that made me feel at home. Stayed for 7 nights, had two dinners there, both delicious, beef tangine and royal couscous. Mehdi tended to my every need at breakfast and the rest of kitchen staff was 5 star, I even got to taste the local barley soup, Breakfast with msemen, harcha, delicious yoghurt, honey, jam, fresh orange juice and orange slices with cinnamon. Omelett by request, everything tasted amazing! Suleyman explained upon arrival where to visit and what to avoid and marked on the map the most important info. Room and bathroom was nice and clean. I slept like a baby and woke before call to prayer every morning, could clearly hear every call as the riad is wall to walk with a mosque. It was not disturbing though, just added to the experience. Could hear other guests that came and left quite well, simple wooden doors etc. I don’t mind, but others might. The pool is only for decoration and smaller that it looks. The entrance to the Riad and esp. the 2nd house that I stayed atlooks a bith sketchy, but feels safe. Be prepared to walk from main road to riad as there is no car access. Tried the hammam, the girl did not speak English, but simple instructions made me feel safe. GREAT massage afterwards, not just «standard» tourist- massage but she clearly felt what my body needed. This was my first time in Morocco, and I will come back and stay here next time also. Solo traveller, female.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits et nous avons passé un séjour agréable et un super service, dès la réception au départ Un accueil souriant, je souligne et remercie les réceptionnistes, le bagagiste, les serveurs,les cuisinières et les femmes de ménages, les masseuses du Haman pour leur professionnalisme leurs gentillesse et toujours souriant et souriante Je recommande en espérant y retourner bientôt

Ein schönes Hotel mit toller dachterrasse wo man frühstücken darf. Alles top und empfehlenswert. Leider hat uns die Lage nicht zu 100% überzeugt. Man muss eine lange Gasse (die nicht sehr einladend wirkt) ganz bist zum Ende durch. Dann waren wir noch im Nebenhaus des Hotels untergebracht wofür wir nochmal eine Ecke rum und eine weitere Gasse durchlaufen mussten. Das Feeling war schon sehr spooky… also an sich top aber man sollte nicht zu ängstlich sein, vor allem wenn man im Dunkeln zurückkehren möchte.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Our host (who used to be a teacher!)was very gracious and we were greeted enthusiasticly and with a tea and a desert. Our host did an amazing job helping us book our excursions to the Ouzud Waterfalls and The Agafay Desert for a camel ride + dinner and a special show. The bed was comfortable and the soap and shampoo smelled great. The daily Moroccan Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. The rooftop is a great space to sit and enjoy the breeze as well. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The special Moroccan tea was itself an experience. We also loved the little cat that lives at the rooftop!! The small pool was really nice and cold. It was great to cool off after being out all day in the heat. It was a little noisy on the first floor as our room was in the courtyard but not so much it disturbed my sleep. I would 100% stay here again. Actively dreaming about returning here for the 2030 World Cup! It was an amazing experience to be able to walk through the marketplace from our hotel and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and courteous. Much love from America. Shokran! En shalla!!!

The hotel was nice clean and quiet. Not child or disability friendly. Just issues around w.c not fixed to the floor felt it will fall over every time and shower cubicle not draining. Unfortunately no natural light which I prefer. Overall it was definitely experience staying in Riad hotel…

The property is in an Old Medina, I dint like the location that much, plus there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom, that was very disgusting to see. The people very nice and ready to assist you at any time.

Fantastic stay. Wasn't sure what to expect having read previous reviews but arrived late at night to a lovely welcome (desk staffed 24/7). We shared a twin room which was fairly basic but clean, cool and with quiet air conditioning it was all we needed. Shower room clean and water pressure great. We had no hot water at first but as soon as we raised this it got fixed. We asked for a hairdryer and had it for our stay. Front desk couldn't be more helpful. Full breakfast everyday with lovely waiting staff, especially Sophian, who would do anything for you. All staff very kind and helpful. Riad was close to amenities - great location - yet no sense of noise or hassle and bussle, lovely and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Our room was not in the central Riad, but in their property around the corner (50 meters). This was fine as there was no degradation of quality. The check in process was very personalized as the manager took the time to explain the riad amenities as well as the local attractions in the medina. The hotel was immaculately clean. Our room was not in the central Riad, but in their property around the corner (50 meters). This was fine as there was no degradation of quality. We arrived late in the evening and initially put in a room in the annex building which looked nothing like the room we'd seen in pictures on the site. We made do because we were tired, the following day we were offered to move rooms into the main building which was better. Overall the room was small and basic and didn't feel worth the money we paid, although it was in a great location next to the main square. The most frustrating bit of the stay was that on two occasions the house keepers took our towels and did not replace them. When we asked for towels we were told they'd run out. Difficult to believe when they have a spa on site! We had to pester several times, they didn't appear overly bothered and it was the next day before any towels appeared. What baffled me was why did they remove the towels if they didn't have any to replace them with?! We'd have happily used the same ones again.

I was unsure how many stars to give this riad. The service deserves 5 stars - huge thanks to AbdeSalam and Mohamed for being so helpful and welcoming. Location - down a bit of a dark alley way but place is nice. 5-8 walk to road access but close to market so convenient if not carrying much Staff - friendly and professional, welcome tea and snack was much appreciated. Breakfast - average but filling, egg, different types of bread, slices of oranges, salad, fruit preserve Room - clean, comfortable bed, not much toiletries (but the shower gel was lovely), complimentary bottle of water. But do not agree to say in room 7, it feels like a supply closet (you have to almost climb over bed to get to bathroom and door couldn't open all the way), and has a glass door with curtain as privacy. When we asked if there was alternate room, we were led further into the alleyway, around 2 min way, to another establishment that did not seem as well kept. The lack of security and brightness of the room while trying to sleep took off a star.

J’ai séjourné 2 nuits dans ce Riyad situé en plein cœur de la place Djemaa el-Fna. Si l’emplacement est idéal pour visiter Marrakech, mon expérience a malheureusement été gâchée par un service très décevant. La première nuit a été particulièrement pénible : les bruits sont omniprésents, l’insonorisation est inexistante. J’entendais tout ce qui se passait dans l’établissement. Le pire a été le réveil brutal à 6h du matin causé par la femme de ménage qui déplaçait bruyamment les tables dans la salle du petit-déjeuner. Impossible de me rendormir après ça. The property was absolutely beautiful. Our host (who used to be a teacher!)was very gracious and we were greeted enthusiasticly and with a tea and a desert. Our host did an amazing job helping us book our excursions to the Ouzud Waterfalls and The Agafay Desert for a camel ride + dinner and a special show. The bed was comfortable and the soap and shampoo smelled great. The daily Moroccan Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. The rooftop is a great space to sit and enjoy the breeze as well. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The special Moroccan tea was itself an experience. We also loved the little cat that lives at the rooftop!! The small pool was really nice and cold. It was great to cool off after being out all day in the heat. It was a little noisy on the first floor as our room was in the courtyard but not so much it disturbed my sleep. I would 100% stay here again. Actively dreaming about returning here for the 2030 World Cup! It was an amazing experience to be able to walk through the marketplace from our hotel and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and courteous. Much love from America. Shokran! En shalla!!!

Il y a eu un problème ce matin lors de notre départ. Nous avons payé les taxes de tourisme comme indiqué sur hôtel.com mais il nous disait que nous n’avions pas payé notre nuitée. J’ai montré notre reçu sur hôtel.com pour prouver que nous avions bien payé. La personne a la réception était vraiment très confuse.

Firstly the Riad seems to have several names and was difficult to find. Then the driver failed to collect me from the airport. However: it is a delightful little riad, perfectly situated near the Jama al Fna square. Its rooftop restaurant was good, although the service was slow. The room was simple and comfortable. The staff were an absolute delight: charming, helpful, intelligent and a lot of fun. In particular I would mention Abdeljalil.

Aber Mann wollte uns umbuchen in ein anderes, "da es voll sei" nach freundliches ablehnen unsererseits war auf einmal wohl ein Zimmer frei.... Aber sonst tolle Lage, parken in öffentliche Parkhäuser und dann max. 10 min zu Fuß. Restaurant auf dem rooftop nicht ausprobiert aber sah nett aus. Frühstück gut.

Very close to Jemna el Fna, super friendly and acommodating staff that made me feel at home. Stayed for 7 nights, had two dinners there, both delicious, beef tangine and royal couscous. Mehdi tended to my every need at breakfast and the rest of kitchen staff was 5 star, I even got to taste the local barley soup, Breakfast with msemen, harcha, delicious yoghurt, honey, jam, fresh orange juice and orange slices with cinnamon. Omelett by request, everything tasted amazing! Suleyman explained upon arrival where to visit and what to avoid and marked on the map the most important info. Room and bathroom was nice and clean. I slept like a baby and woke before call to prayer every morning, could clearly hear every call as the riad is wall to walk with a mosque. It was not disturbing though, just added to the experience. Could hear other guests that came and left quite well, simple wooden doors etc. I don’t mind, but others might. The pool is only for decoration and smaller that it looks. The entrance to the Riad and esp. the 2nd house that I stayed atlooks a bith sketchy, but feels safe. Be prepared to walk from main road to riad as there is no car access. Tried the hammam, the girl did not speak English, but simple instructions made me feel safe. GREAT massage afterwards, not just «standard» tourist- massage but she clearly felt what my body needed. This was my first time in Morocco, and I will come back and stay here next time also. Solo traveller, female.

Un séjour en amoureux au Top, le ryad est très bien situé a 30 secondes a pied de la place jemma el fna. L'accueil la gentillesse du personnel sans compter leurs professionnalisme est au rendez-vous !! Ils nous ont organisés les excursions et les déplacements et le tout réglé tout au ryad pas besoin de ́negocier a des prix defiants toutes concurrences. Le petit déjeuner et les repas sont divinement bons fait maison et sur place !! Les chambres sont authentiques et tres agréables !! Je recommande !! Nous y retournerons sans la moindre hésitation.

Fantastic stay. Wasn't sure what to expect having read previous reviews but arrived late at night to a lovely welcome (desk staffed 24/7). We shared a twin room which was fairly basic but clean, cool and with quiet air conditioning it was all we needed. Shower room clean and water pressure great. We had no hot water at first but as soon as we raised this it got fixed. We asked for a hairdryer and had it for our stay. Front desk couldn't be more helpful. Full breakfast everyday with lovely waiting staff, especially Sophian, who would do anything for you. All staff very kind and helpful. Riad was close to amenities - great location - yet no sense of noise or hassle and bussle, lovely and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Aber Mann wollte uns umbuchen in ein anderes, "da es voll sei" nach freundliches ablehnen unsererseits war auf einmal wohl ein Zimmer frei.... Location - down a bit of a dark alley way but place is nice. 5-8 walk to road access but close to market so convenient if not carrying much Staff - friendly and professional, welcome tea and snack was much appreciated. Breakfast - average but filling, egg, different types of bread, slices of oranges, salad, fruit preserve Room - clean, comfortable bed, not much toiletries (but the shower gel was lovely), complimentary bottle of water. But do not agree to say in room 7, it feels like a supply closet (you have to almost climb over bed to get to bathroom and door couldn't open all the way), and has a glass door with curtain as privacy. When we asked if there was alternate room, we were led further into the alleyway, around 2 min way, to another establishment that did not seem as well kept. The lack of security and brightness of the room while trying to sleep took off a star.

Very close to Jemna el Fna, super friendly and acommodating staff that made me feel at home. Stayed for 7 nights, had two dinners there, both delicious, beef tangine and royal couscous. Mehdi tended to my every need at breakfast and the rest of kitchen staff was 5 star, I even got to taste the local barley soup, Breakfast with msemen, harcha, delicious yoghurt, honey, jam, fresh orange juice and orange slices with cinnamon. Omelett by request, everything tasted amazing! Suleyman explained upon arrival where to visit and what to avoid and marked on the map the most important info. Room and bathroom was nice and clean. I slept like a baby and woke before call to prayer every morning, could clearly hear every call as the riad is wall to walk with a mosque. It was not disturbing though, just added to the experience. Could hear other guests that came and left quite well, simple wooden doors etc. I don’t mind, but others might. The pool is only for decoration and smaller that it looks. The entrance to the Riad and esp. the 2nd house that I stayed atlooks a bith sketchy, but feels safe. Be prepared to walk from main road to riad as there is no car access. Tried the hammam, the girl did not speak English, but simple instructions made me feel safe. GREAT massage afterwards, not just «standard» tourist- massage but she clearly felt what my body needed. Un séjour en amoureux au Top, le ryad est très bien situé a 30 secondes a pied de la place jemma el fna. L'accueil la gentillesse du personnel sans compter leurs professionnalisme est au rendez-vous !! Ils nous ont organisés les excursions et les déplacements et le tout réglé tout au ryad pas besoin de ́negocier a des prix defiants toutes concurrences. Le petit déjeuner et les repas sont divinement bons fait maison et sur place !! Les chambres sont authentiques et tres agréables !! Je recommande !! Nous y retournerons sans la moindre hésitation.

Ein schönes Hotel mit toller dachterrasse wo man frühstücken darf. Alles top und empfehlenswert. Leider hat uns die Lage nicht zu 100% überzeugt. Man muss eine lange Gasse (die nicht sehr einladend wirkt) ganz bist zum Ende durch. Dann waren wir noch im Nebenhaus des Hotels untergebracht wofür wir nochmal eine Ecke rum und eine weitere Gasse durchlaufen mussten. Das Feeling war schon sehr spooky… also an sich top aber man sollte nicht zu ängstlich sein, vor allem wenn man im Dunkeln zurückkehren möchte.

Our room was not in the central Riad, but in their property around the corner (50 meters). This was fine as there was no degradation of quality. The check in process was very personalized as the manager took the time to explain the riad amenities as well as the local attractions in the medina. The hotel was immaculately clean. There was very little difficulty finding the location, as it was just off the Jemma El Fna and signs clearly marked its location (although signs indicated the old name of the property).

Struttura e personale molto carini e cerimonia del thè ottima. Posizione ottima per visitare la cittá a piedi. Colazione buona e sono stati molto disponibili a farci la colazione d’asporto per una giornata in cui partecipavamo ad un escursione con partenza molto presto. Unica nota negativa quando prenoti con expedia non viene indicato che esistono due strutture, una che non rispecchia le foto e rumorosa, abbiamo esposto al personale che la struttura che avevamo prenotato non era quella e per la seconda notte ci hanno messo in quella giusta ( come da foto expedia)

Firstly the Riad seems to have several names and was difficult to find. Then the driver failed to collect me from the airport. However: it is a delightful little riad, perfectly situated near the Jama al Fna square. Its rooftop restaurant was good, although the service was slow. The room was simple and comfortable. The staff were an absolute delight: charming, helpful, intelligent and a lot of fun. In particular I would mention Abdeljalil.

Fantastic stay. Wasn't sure what to expect having read previous reviews but arrived late at night to a lovely welcome (desk staffed 24/7). We shared a twin room which was fairly basic but clean, cool and with quiet air conditioning it was all we needed. Shower room clean and water pressure great. We had no hot water at first but as soon as we raised this it got fixed. We asked for a hairdryer and had it for our stay. Front desk couldn't be more helpful. Full breakfast everyday with lovely waiting staff, especially Sophian, who would do anything for you. All staff very kind and helpful. Riad was close to amenities - great location - yet no sense of noise or hassle and bussle, lovely and peaceful. Highly recommend!

The property was absolutely beautiful. Our host (who used to be a teacher!)was very gracious and we were greeted enthusiasticly and with a tea and a desert. Our host did an amazing job helping us book our excursions to the Ouzud Waterfalls and The Agafay Desert for a camel ride + dinner and a special show. The bed was comfortable and the soap and shampoo smelled great. The daily Moroccan Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. The rooftop is a great space to sit and enjoy the breeze as well. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The special Moroccan tea was itself an experience. We also loved the little cat that lives at the rooftop!! The small pool was really nice and cold. It was great to cool off after being out all day in the heat. It was a little noisy on the first floor as our room was in the courtyard but not so much it disturbed my sleep. I would 100% stay here again. Actively dreaming about returning here for the 2030 World Cup! It was an amazing experience to be able to walk through the marketplace from our hotel and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and courteous. Much love from America. Shokran! En shalla!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Riad. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, you couldn’t really get a better location, and the pictures are a true representation of what you get. The rooms themselves are not modern / luxury, but they are true to the images and were suitable for the few nights we were there. Breakfast was humble but good to start the day and the roof top terrace is a lovely space to relax in, sit in the sun, have a drink and play some card games. Anybody who rates this riad poorly is going in with the wrong expectation. You will get a humble accommodation, that’s very picturesque, warm and inviting in a great location to explore Marrakech, provided at an incredibly fair price. If you are looking for super luxury then you should look at the larger resorts further out of town, or need to drastically increase budget. 5* for exceeding expectations and providing a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

Notre chambre ( surclassée ) était grande mais sentait l’humidité, le cadre du lit était cassé et dans la salle de bain il manquait la paroi pour fermer la douche et pas de petit meuble pour poser les affaires. Super petit déjeuner, emplacement parfait à deux pas de la place jamaa el fna. Attention pas d’accès direct en voiture donc si beaucoup de valises ça peut être compliqué ou alors demander au Ryad un service de bagagiste.

Das Frühstück ist gut, wird für einen zubereitet aber es gibt, was es gibt, das ist kein Buffet. Kaffee ist Kaffe, kein Latte, Cappuccino oder sonst was, einfach Kaffee. Milch könnte gerade aus sein. Der Pool ist winzig. Mehr zur Optik. Lädt nicht zum reingehen ein und könnte sauberer sein. Zimmer sind nett, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Der Wasserhahn war locker und wirkte gleich abzubrechen, die Leintücher hatten Blutflecken, versteckt von der Decke. Als wir das sahen, das war schon eklig.
