As with most of Bali, the staff were really polite and welcoming. The hotel itself is a bit dated in terms of outdoor space with the beach needing more loungers and the other areas needing a bit of a spruce up. What I cannot knock are the nice looking rooms and price of the stay, this is the main reason I gave a 4* review along with the staff.

We liked the Balinese carved door to our room & the beautiful carved bed. We liked the proximity to the beach. We enjoyed the meals in the Cempaka Restaurant but the music was too loud & frantic. It was disappointing that many guests were putting towels on the pool lazyboys early in the morning & some days it was difficult to get a lazyboy.We enjoyed the Happy hour cocktails & releasing 2 hatchlings.

The staff were absolutely lovely. The room was amazing with lives comfy beds and AC. The food & drink were wonderful! The pool, pool bar and beach were spotlessly clean. Unfortunately I picked up Bali Belly from the resort but the onsite doctor and nurse were amazing coming to my room to give me IV fluids and other meds. I would definitely go back!

Overall I enjoyed my stay. Service staff were amazing, food was good (but the breakfast could be more imaginative) and the grounds were well kept. It is located on the beachfront pathway that runs along the Nusa Dua waterfront which extends for some kilometres. The rear of the property is close to a busy road which can be noisy. I would suggest you stay away from this area. The resort still uses tiny plastic bottles for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They need to replace these with dispensers attached to the shower wall as many hotels/resorts have done to avoid the waste this creates. Finally, the gym equipment is very tired, some of it is rusty and adjustment pins no longer work on much of it. It is beyond repair and needs to be replaced.

Poor check in. Taken to a different room than the one booked. Had to wait a long time to check in but were compensated with a buffet dinner & cocktail. Our room was very noisy as it was near the road & we could hear the traffic. Very difficult to get a lazy boy by the pool as other guests were placing towels on them early in the morning.& not returning them when finished.

We stayed in this property for 31 January 2025 to 9th February. We stayed in deluxe bangolow room. Room was very big very clean. Bed was huge. Rooms cleaned everyday. Staff works really well. Restaurants are very efficient. Breakfast was really good lots of variety. Staff service was excellent. I also used clinic in the facility. Medical staff was very friendly and attentive. Spa across the hotel was good priced and clean. Went 4 times. During our stay. Supermarket also very convenient. Very lovely hotel. Beach was not swimmable. Lots of see weed. Only a short walk to club med beach is so beautiful. Clean amazing to swim and hang around

Loved our stay here, wish Bali itself would deal with their rubbish situation, it is so sad but the property itself took pride in their premisses and it was so beautiful. Loved the swim up bar but wish the pool was open later until 11 or 12pm as it shut too soon. They have pool tables, kids play room, small playground and a gym along with other activities. Loved that it was also on the beach front. Food was great with 3 restaurants options to choose from. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning. The only wish from the boy’s was for there to be hash browns on the menu daily. We stayed in the Royal room which was nice, had aircon and a nice deck view. Was very authentic Bali. Staff were amazing were delivered a complementary drink on arrival and they delivered us a cake as we were on our honeymoon and decorated our bed with flowers and swans made from towels. Overall excellent stay and we will be back again.

Really lovely hotel with even lovelier people making us feel very welcome. Great breakfast and lots to do. Perfect spot being right on the beach and also having a pool. The hotel staff were definitely a highlight! The spa was also amazing!

We stayed in a Deluxe room big bathroom with bath & separate shower, toilet separate with a door.The room was clean no mould or scum in bathroom. Had a porch on ground floor upper levels had a balcony.Sheets ,towels nice white & clean.Breakfast was good had everything. Hotel was on the beach grass to the white sand, hightide was best time to swim. Recommend staying 3 to 4 nights not a lot around Hotel need to take taxi to restaurants. The Deluxe rooms are entry level rooms its not worth paying Extra for a suite in our view the room was plenty big enough for a couple.

We loved the pool and buffet breakfast. Room was beautiful and clean, with very comfortable beds, pillows and great air conditioning. Little supermarket across the road and walkable local restaurants on street and beach front. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would love to return as we loved everything.

Had a lovely stay at the resort. The surrounding gardens were beautiful and the pool was great. The location of the hotel was also excellent and the staff were amazing. Only thing that let the property down was that we kept getting a sewerage smell in our bathroom.

Lovely and friendly staff, great location not far from Bali collection. The property was looking a little tired and I was finding blood stains on our “clean towels” everyday. We had a balcony room which was completely obstructed by a building which also made the room very dark.

Bonne climatisation des chambres. Le frigo de la chambre était sale ainsi que la baignoire, des mouches sortaient de celle ci. Des vers dans les toilettes et la salle de bain. La piscine aurait pu plus propre, nos maillots de blanc ressortait jaune… Le personnel très chaleureux. Les alcools sont chères Et la nourriture est bien dommage que lors du petit déjeuné, les oiseaux mangeaient le pain et il y avait des mouches.

Attractive and spacious room however there was a lot of street noise and a local dog barking into the night. Pool was appealing but we were only there for a short stay and didn’t use it. The food was very ordinary and probably the biggest downfall. There were some restaurants, a spa and a sports bar as well as shops and other conveniences within easy walking distance.

Positives: - good location - good amenities - reasonable menu - very good breakfast choices Negatives: - despite internet marketing and pictures - no swimming here! - rooms poorly furnished – not a single drawer or shelf on bed side tables or desk - desk had no power points. Closest one was about 6ft away - room lighting, esp over basin was so poor (dim and yellow) you could not see well enough to shave properly or for the ladies to do their makeup. - poorly designed light control panel. When person on the master side of bed turned off their bed side light – the other bed side light also went off. Utterly stupid! - internet – absolutely dismal & by far, the worst we experienced in Bali. They must still use dial-up modems! Management in denial & could not care-a-less. - bath was stained and cracked – we did not use it at all. It is such a pity that the attention to detail and artifacts on exterior of buildings and doors did not flow to the interior of rooms as well.

We stayed for 5 nights here, and it was just wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I think value for money was very good. The property grounds are very well kept, peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The dining options were OK inside the resort. Breakfast seemed to have enough options, and was different every day for our stay. The Ratna restaurant had a pretty good international menu, and the Cempaka restaurant seemed to have a good menu, although we only used this twice. The rooms were clean and very "quaint" - the traditional decor, fixtures and fittings for the entire resort made us feel like we were on a holiday in Bali - not just standard contemporary rooms. Very comforting. The only negative that I can think of is that our room was only supplied with 2 bottles of complimentary "mineral" water per day, and after that there was a charge. For Australians, and I guess US and EU, this is a little harsh, as we really need to drink and brush teeth only with bottled water (risk of Bali Belly), as I guess our immune systems are not acclimatised to the local tap water. Having said that, there is a convenience store directly across the road from the resort, where bottled water can be purchased at very low cost. I was also pleasantly surprised that this store also sold beer! I normally stay in Jakarta when in Indonesia, and it seems that beer sales in convenience stores is not allowed. Overall, this was a fantastic short holiday for us! Thank you!

Nusa Dua is a quiet area and this place is along a nice beachfront walking path. This resort is very indonesian with extra large rooms, bathrooms which was perfect when sharing with kids, etc. The slight problems we had were with the power points being broken, the wifi was pretty bad, the fridge stopped working at one point altogether - and we all got lost quite a few times going back and forth from the room (better signage might help?). To be fair, this is minor stuff and it's to be expected from a hotel in Bali. We loved the staff, they were incredibly friendly and kind. The buffet breakfast was the best out of all our stays in Indonesia. The pool and pool bar were great and of average size. If you're looking for a quiet, laid-back place to chill out this is it. Don't expect bright modern rooms, more balinesque, dark, timber but super big.

If you are bringing a group RUN!!! Do NOT stay at this hotel. To be honest - the staff is sweet and wonderful. (except for the spa - they are disorganized). The management is AWFUL. They double billed us several times and would not retract the charges. It is three months later and we are STILL trying to resolve this with the credit card. Without our permission - the charged the group expenses (which were double charges) to our personal card. The management is disorganized and dishonest. On two days we had to stand there to resolved issues that should have taken 5 minutes and each time two hours. This is entirely the management and the sales team. It was an absolute mess with the group. I am a meeting planner and in 30 years have never had a worse experience. If I could give below zero stars I would! Terrible experience!!!

This hotel is old but much more authentic Balinese than other sterile hotels around the area. The pool is beautiful and the restaurants on site are affordable with exceptional food. Breakfast has a wonderful variety. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only negatives would be our room was very dark, easily fixed with some cool white LEDs instead of the dull yellow, the staff at the pool bar took a very long time to serve you but once the order was placed it arrived quite quickly! The pool stunning but is deep both ends and this is where the ladder steps are, not very good if you aren’t strong enough to pull yourself up out of the water. Some elderly people found it very difficult getting in and especially out… All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing 12 days!

We arrived in the morning from a flight from Lombok and knowing check in was in the afternoon we were happy to spend time at the pool area , however the porter took our large suitcase and we had no offer from any staff to carry our 2 heavy backpacks or to show where pool was so had to find ourselves . The lady that checked us in was not friendly and was training another lady and was quite off handed..We booked deluxe bungalow and whilst room was spacious the price we paid for two nights was over $500 AUD and for that price we would have expected a reasonable sized shower gel instead of a very smal L tube which would allow for 1 shower each not eco friendly at all and a pump size refillable would be eco friendly . On one day it rained and we couldn’t have lunch at the resort as it had one restaurant opened for all inclusive guests which we weren’t. , so we had to go outside the profit lunch with only one umbrella allocated per room ! The front steps upto the entrance has a missing tile on it and I almost fell down the steps . The cocktails were very weak also . We would not recommend this property for the above reasons and at best would rate 3 star

The room was ready for us and the staff so helpful even though we arrived at 1:45AM. Due to flight issues, we missed our first night and it was too late to cancel. The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of fresh choices and fresh made options. Staff was super friendly. The grounds were beautiful. We will return and stay here another time.

Beautiful gardens and balcony. Staff were very friendly. Pool was great and the swim up bar was handy, plenty of sunbeds. A lack of nearby restaurants that serve local food was a little disappointing but our 9 night stay was so relaxing we had a great time.

What a beautiful property. Nice beach area, with beautiful sand and walking path access. Breakfast buffet has many options for all. The delux room is farther with some rooms not having a view but still a beautiful room, and lots of places on the property to sit and relax!

施設が古いからか、トイレのドアがキチンと閉まらずベッドからいつも便器が見える状態でした。眺望も悪く部屋の前の施設の壁が汚らしかった。道路に近く、車の騒音も少し聞こえます。部屋に通ずる階段の段が、一段で二段分の所があり、降りるとき危うく踏み外しのようになり転ぶところでした。最初に注意して欲しかったです。満室でもなさそうなのに、このような部屋をなぜあてがわれたかわかりません。朝食は種類、味ともに満足でした。スタッフは皆さんフレンドリーで良かったです。プールもまずまずでした。ビーチは午後の満潮時には快適に泳ぐことが出来ました。敷地ないの植物も綺麗で散歩にはとても良かったです。

This gorgeous hotel with traditional Balinese architecture is a delight. The staff are without fault kind and friendly. The spot is quiet, whilst still being in close walkable distance to other resorts and with many exciting water sports right on your doorstep. Loved the stay!

The rooms were huge with tons of space and well fitted out. The pool was nice, the restaurants were OK, breakfast was good but dinner options not so good. The beach was pretty dirty so the pool was the best option to swim. Nice tropical setting with very balinese feel. The cocktails were very weak and used substandard spirts, local spirits I had never heard of and hence tasted weak which was very disappointing for us, just to save money I suppose.

The buffet breakfast is a standout - we ate dinner one night at the resort which was disappointing. The report is a little dated but feels authentically Balinese. The grounds are a delight and the staff are so polite, friendly and eager t o help.

We loved the pool and buffet breakfast. Room was beautiful and clean, with very comfortable beds, pillows and great air conditioning. Little supermarket across the road and walkable local restaurants on street and beach front. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would love to return as we loved everything.

Nusa dua has a lovely stretch of beach and hotels , Bali tropic is a nice hotel but it’s drink and food is very over priced compared to local hotels and the service is not the best. We stayed in a suite which was nice & walked out for evening meals and drinks most of the time, as there was much more variety and better value for money in every direction. Lovely rooms and gardens but the hotel is rather old fashioned in its repetitiveness. There is a constant moving of chairs and tables for buffets, which seems unnecessary and does not offer a relaxing ambience . Other hotels have made contemporary seating areas and offer similar entertainment with out the constant movement of people and objects . At the beach and pool bar there is a culture of serving customers who stay regularly first,( tropic family ) it not very fair or welcoming to new guests and gets a bit frustrating when you’ve ordered your drink and then get ignored for 10-15 minutes whilst regulars casually push in ! Eventually we just went out and spent our money elsewhere. Breakfast is lovely with perfect views and they have lovely traditional features around the grounds. Walk out the back of the hotel turn right along the beach and for half hour and there are many beautiful places to eat and drink that offer many types of entertainment . Turning left still offers drink places but there are a few derelict hotels there with unkept littered beaches, so wear sturdy shoes.

Beach (ocean\water) was not as advertised publicized in photos Food was a bit to $$ got double the amount and quality out side the hotel. Alcohol also was NOT included and should be with ALL inclusive. Rooms, Overall Property, and Service were great! I would recommend this hotel along with others but not over others.

You can choose very healthy breakfast, lot of variety. Staff are extremely friendly and polite. They will help you in any situation. Room service is always good. Aa

The room was ready for us and the staff so helpful even though we arrived at 1:45AM. Due to flight issues, we missed our first night and it was too late to cancel. The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of fresh choices and fresh made options. Staff was super friendly. The grounds were beautiful. We will return and stay here another time.

The resort was beautiful and tidy also staff were helpful and polite, there wasn’t enough place to eat and we didn’t enjoy the buffet. It was below average.
