We stayed in the tower. Signage to the pool on 2nd floor is not easy to find. We stayed for 2 nights.we were bought robes and blankets after we checked in. We put a sign on the door to have our room clean whilst we were out the next day but had to call housekeeping as nothing was done. Overall 2 pools, 2 gyms, 2 spas and sauna. Great place to stay

Everything was lovely. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The spa pools are not hot but the regular pools and the sauna were wonderful!!

The front dest, etc, were wonderful and the room was even better than we expected. The rooftop pool was special, and not too-crowded. They are doing some needed repairs/updates in a few places, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location near the Sky Tower and central Auckland. Rooms are large with a divider for a bit of privacy. Comes with a kitchenette that has the basics for what you need. Hotel has one indoor lap pool (one lane) and hot tub, outdoor pool and hot tub with a great deck that has views of the harbor. Also has an outdoor tennis court and chess set. There is a restaurant on site that we did not try, but looked decent.

Very comfy beds and terrific rooftop pool. Staff friendly and efficient. Sadly the second gym and pool are closed, it looks like indefinitely, and no room service available or easy dining options nearby, had to resort to Uber eats.

Fabulous location, great rooms, loved the spaciousness so we could spread our suitcases out. Lovely and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We also used the valet parking which was a great service and very safe.

The location is amazing The staff were attentive and hard working The room was tired, grubby There was a used flannel in the bath, the bath was not clean, the bed sheets had blood on them ( not ours ) We waited until 3:30pm (check in was 2pm ) for the room to be available and it wasn’t clean. The staff member at the front desk on Saturday afternoon who checked us in was excellent. She was courteous and went out of her way to properly explain the facilitiea at the hotel. Unfortunately, there was several toe nail clippings on the floor near out bed in a very obvious place. The entertainment options on the TV were hard to figure out and stopped working and you have to have your own streaming accounts. No sky tv. The shower screen was tiny which meant a lot of water ended up on the bathroom floor. The room was spacious but apart from that the hotel was very disappointing. Unlikely to return.

The bed was terrible. It was caved in in the middle, the water was cold even with the hot tap on full max. There was no car parking even tho it’s said online there was car parks. They decided not to charge our room untill after we checked out which was very strange because I thought I was already paid when we checked in. Will never return again

Great check-in experience provide by a Tahitian girl (didn't get her name). She was welcoming and friendly. Very efficient and chatty. Unfortunately, my stay was let down when I was checking out. I call reception to organise my vehicle from valet parking. I got no answer after waiting on phone for 10 minutees, so I hung up. I went down to reception, but no-one there. Used the phone at reception to call the Duty Manager, but again no answer. I looked around for someone, but no-one was around. Called again, got an answer and advised my vehicle would be there in 5 minutes. It took nearly 15 minutes to be brought around to the entrance foyer.

Terrible experience. Firstly we paid for valet parking, therefore parked our car at the front, however were told off and yelled at by the hotel staff as they said we parked the car on the wrong side. It is ridiculous that there is no sign to specify where cars need to be left for valet parking. Furthermore being yelled at multiple times times for this just ruined our experience. I also was advised by hotel staff that we can go up and watch the fireworks at night and there was no mention of only a certain number of people being allowed up at the roof or we would have gone earlier. We basically missed the fire works and has the most horrible new years. I also want to mention that due to these reasons we checked out on the same night and went home. We had the most horrible stay and will be advising others about this.

Front desk staff were amazing. Doreen was helpful, efficient, warm, and so friendly. All the staff were great. Room was tired but okay. The bed and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Rooftop pool was lovely.

Terrible service inefficient no room service, one lift working out of three, upon check in waited 20 minutes unmanned reception, then key didn’t work, I had to call for the Bath Robes and Slippers, indoor spa pool broken, no restaurant or bar open no breakfast, no chopping board in full kitchen, stuck on level 3 for nearly 30 minutes at 8.30am and a new Mother had to deliver breast milk to a customer waiting in the Lobby then got locked in the stairs area luckily I heard her, no toilet in the Lobby area, no trolley service when checking out I had to go down get the trolley myself with my husband in the wheelchair, dirty old Balcony and furniture, this hotel is not a 4 star international hotel more likely a 2.2. Extremely disappointed 😢 especially being New Year’s Day given my entire family stayed 4 years ago for Christmas and Boxing Day and service and facilities were great therefore I suggest Expedia revisit this hotel simply not worth $255 for there Tower Executive Suite and I am requesting a full refund as I have always travelled and stayed and booked with Expedia please advise.

We booked this hotel for the family room and the pool/spa/gym as we went with our kids. They loved the rooftop pool especially and my husband used the gym. The parking is also valet parking and very reasonably priced for in Auckland. I didn't realise but the Heritage has two sides, the older side and the newer tower side. The family room that we booked was in the older side (I think they all are) and it wasn't heritage - it was just run down. Definitely not a 4* experience. The area around the hotel is also filled with rough people, there is an Auckland City Mission not far off and I believe a lot of the apartments around there are transitional housing. I understand this isn't the hotels fault and to be honest all of Downtown Auckland is like this - its a real pity. As you have to walk everywhere to eat it wouldn't be somewhere I would want to walk around if I was alone.
We booked this hotel for the family room and the pool/spa/gym as we went with our kids. They loved the rooftop pool especially and my husband used the gym. The parking is also valet parking and very reasonably priced for in Auckland. I didn't realise but the Heritage has two sides, the older side and the newer tower side. The family room that we booked was in the older side (I think they all are) and it wasn't heritage - it was just run down. Definitely not a 4* experience. Excellent location, friendly nd helpful staff. Good locations to eat nearby. There was no breakfast but there is a third party German restaurant in the building which we did not try. We had a one bedroom suite and it was very spacious compared to newer hotels.

Had a wonderful 2-night stay with friends at the Rendezvous Heritage Hotel. The location is very central, no more than 5 minutes from Queen Street and the Sky Tower. It was quiet at night (slightly noisy with beeping cars and sirens during the day), but it quieted down at night. The staff were always available, very friendly and helpful. We ate one night at the German restaurant in the hotel. It was ok, but not amazing, and the one staff member on serving that night seemed quite overwhelmed by herself on the floor. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and gym areas, and they were lovely areas and so well maintained and pleasant to spend time to sit around the outdoor pool. The room was very spacious, with lots of storage and well-stocked with amenities. There was a mini-kitchen in our room which was very useful, and the bathroom was very large and well-sticked. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would stay again and would recommend!

Room wasn’t ready for check in until 2:35pm. We were waiting from 1:30 pm. Restaurant was closed for breakfast and was told to go to Rydges or elsewhere as the restaurant isn’t open on a Monda even though it was a public holiday and quite a few guests.

Having stayed here a number of times pre-Covid, i was disappointed with the service (other than the receptionist when we checked in who was lovely). The food has changed - from high quality varied food with lots of healthy and vegan options to very limited. They couldn't even supply margarine rather than butter for toast. Wont be staying here again, which is disappointing as this had previously been our go-to hotel in Auckland.
