Bit older hotel but very well maintained. Generous breakfast. Free parking. Great service overall.

Free parking was great and tram stop just outside to get into Berm centre worked well using complimentary travel pass. Restaurant menu was limited and a bit pricey but food was excellent quality and beautifully presented. Soa facilities good but would have been helpful to be told we had to collect towels from reception in advance of heading down to use it. Staff very helpful.

Det ligger i yderkanten af Bern rimeligt let tilgængeligt i bil og man kommer nemt til centrum med den nærliggende sporvogn. Personalet er venligt og serviceminded. Enkelte mindre minusser: Parkeringskælderen er trang til "voksne" biler, men fint nok at parkering i kælder er mulig. Man kan komme ud i kælderen fra hotellet, men ikke ind igen. Man bliver smækket ude og må ind gennem hovedindgangen. Morgenmad er ikke inkluderet og kan synes ret dyr, men intet er billigt i Schweiz. Og så spurgte tjeneren om hvor langt tid jeg ville have kogt mit æg. Det ved jeg ikke - hjemme koger min kone altid æg. Og kokken bør vel vide hvor lang tid et æg skal koge for at blive blødt, "smilende" eller hårdt? Jeg fik sagt for få minutter, så mit æg blev halvflydende... Mogenmadsbuffeten var i øvrigt ok.

The rooms are tiny, beds uncomfortable, had to lie the wrong way in bed to get reliable wifi connection and the 'bathroom' is an area of the room with an opaque plastic surround. The gym was awful - 3 pieces of equipment and the temperature of the sauna with no working AC. Pool is tiny. Staff were lovely and super helpful, but the best thing about this hotel is the lobby.

Mein ursprüngliches Zimmer war belegt, was dem Personal nicht bekannt war. Ich musste deshalb nochmal zur Rezeption für ein neues Zimmer - unnötiger Zeitverlust. Zum Abendessen warb das Hotel mit 2 Restaurants. Als ich um 20:00 Uhr vor den Restaurants stand, sagte mir das Personal, es gäbe keine Kapazität mehr, obwohl etliche Tische frei waren und auch wenig Gäste. Musste deshalb ein auswärtiges Restaurant absteuern. Das Hotel warb mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen, das Parkhaus selbst war aber voll und ist auch ziemlich eng. Mein erstes Bügeleisen war defekt, musste mur ein neues von der Rezeption besorgen. Frühstück im Hotel war verfügbar, allerdings ziemlich ungemütliche Atmosphäre im Kantinenflair. Immerhin gab es kostenlose Regenschirme zum Ausleihen. Insgesamt für 240 Euro pro Nacht/Person ein enttäuschendes Erlebnis.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel room itself was really lovely. They even have a free pool and sauna included with the stay, alongside with bathrobes and slippers if you needed any. We never got to try it out but thought that was a really nice gesture. Another positive perk was the free travel pass around Bern. We had a car - parking was very easy and free. They also have a restaurant within the restaurant. We paid for the breakfast buffet which was 19 CHF each, and the food selection was great. The room itself was pretty modern - especially the bathroom. I liked the design of the bathroom (had a hairdryer as well). There is also a mini bar inside the hotel room in case you wanted a little drink or snack during the stay, but you would of course have that added to your bill. However, there was complimentary tea and coffee in the room. We stayed in a 3 person room (1 double bed, 1 single foldable bed). The single bed was not the most comfortable bed to say the least. I am a deep sleeper but must say my back hurt quite a bit when I woke up because I could really feel the springs on that bed. However, the double bed was comfortable to sleep in to say the least. Overall, was a very good stay and the city is nearby through tram service. The tram stop is very nearby to the hotel so you won’t have an issue getting into town. We were however able to visit the entire town within 1 day and only stayed in this hotel for 1 night.

Nice location, friendly staff, clean rooms, the beds were lose to my liking and bathroom seemed small but overall good value for the price. I’d stay here again if I could.

Wie die 4 Sterne zustande kommen erschliesst sich mir nicht. Ausser durch das sehr freundliche personal. Mein Bett war auf der einen Seite durchgelegen und auf der anderen Seite 20 cm von der Wand zur Nasszelle entfernt. Die Sauberkeit in der Nasszelle ist oberflächlich.

El hotel bien ubicado, limpio, cuartos espaciosos y el personal muy amable.El hotel te proporciona acceso al metro para que vayas a los lugares turísticos, el estacionamiento es gratuito. Todo estuvo muy bien durante nuestra estancia.

We had a lovely balcony overlooking the road. Very small elevator. Nice and quiet courtyard. It was easy to navigate public transit from this location. There are restaurants within walking distance. There was sometimes a weird smell in our room but other than that we had a very lovely stay here.

Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht richtig, nachts 29 Grad im Zimmer. Reaktion: ja ist bekannt.

The hotel itself is ok, but it is unacceptable for a place for which you pay more than $200 not to have usable internet. First of all (we were in room 511, at the end of the corridor), we could barely catch wifi (2 bars), and even moving closely to the door or opening the door to the corridor internet clocked in with a horrible Ping of 318 ms (should be 5 ms!), and download about 10 Mbps and upload about 3 Mbps. Due to the horrible Ping delay, we could not use internet at all, and had to use our USA roaming at a great expense to perform our work. We called the reception, where a lady simply said there was nothing they could do about it. In the morning it was a little better, I suppose she could have at least tried to reboot their modem, but at 10 pm she was too lazy or ignorant to do it. It's sad the hotel regularly increases prices with the times but keeps their 10-year old trashy Monsoon internet service. Only go to that hotel if you don't use internet.

The family room is in fact 2 separate rooms, with a shared private corridor that can be locked.

Personale gentile e disponibile. Non è in centro ma la fermata di tram è proprio davanti all'albergo. La stanza è piccola ma ben arredata e ci sono tutti i necessari.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer hatte einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Berner Innenstadt. Das Frühstück war lecker und hatte eine große und frische Auswahl. Leider bot das Badezimmer keine Privatsspäre, da es nicht durch Wände sondern nur von gefärbten Glaswänden von dem Schlafbereich abgetrennt war. Jedes Licht ect. drang vom Badezimmer in den Hotelraum.

Stayed here previously and it is very handy for the centre etc

Good reasonable place to stay in Bern, great also that only 70m from a Sixt rental car to explore Interlaken.
