Coastal Chalet - Sleeps 6 - Pool - Parking

I booked this chalet for myself, my brother, mother and aunt. When I communicated with the owner prior to arrival, I let him know the ages of my aunt and mother, 84 and 78. We arrived after 6, it was getting dark, instead of having them walk all the way around the resort to the front of the building, we realized that we could park at the back and walk up a short hill to the property. I opened the front door and went through the property and opened the back door to let in my family. As I stepped out the back door, the wood fell off of the step. Fortunately, I was able to catch myself and not fall. If my mother or aunt would’ve hit that step first, they would’ve tumbled all the way down the hill. Once inside, I saw how steep and narrow the staircase was. The only bedrooms, my mother and aunt would be able to sleep in would be upstairs. I wish the owner would have let me know how bad that staircase was during our original emails. There were a lot of webs and spiders throughout the property. I counted no less than 8 spiders. The unit was very hot and stuffy, all the windows had locks so they could not be opened to get any airflow. The final issue was that the TVs in the bedroom and in the living room did not work. I have communicated all these issues with the owner, but have not been able to come to any resolution. None of my family was comfortable so we did not stay all 3 nights. I booked a hotel for the rest of our holiday.
