Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent fitness centre with large well equipped gym, squash and three indoor tennis courts! Good quality food with multiple options. Comfortable room with sitting area, balcony and large bathroom. Enjoyable beach and pool areas. On the minus side, room not soundproof, a bit noisy air con.

The staff went above and beyond . Sheraton service sets a new standard for customer excellence. Every meal was a five-star experience! Whether it was the breakfast buffet at Al Hubara or mint lemonadel by the pool. The gym, outdoor pool, private beach and spa are wonderful. We will be back!!!!

Veldig rent og pent inne og ute. Store rom og bra bad. Mange restauranter å velge mellom, med indisk som vår favoritt. Flott bassengområde og egen strand. Oppvarmet basseng (ok å ha i slutten av februar). Treningssenter like ved, med fri adgang til bra treningsrom og mulighet for leie sv tennis- og squash baner. Også padel baner like ved. Eneste lille minus må være at det ikke var noen nattbordlamper. Enten det meste på, eller det meste av.

Truly magnificent hotel on a grand scale. Facilities are exceptionally good. The only drawbacks are the beach and pool close surprisingly early and security is so tight it’s a little intimidating. The pool staff provide outstanding service while working outdoors in the heat and the ice filled esky containing chilled water bottles was surprising and gratefully received. The buffet was an absolute delight. This hotel is truly iconic and the highlight of my trip to Doha.

Just completed a wonderful 5 night stay at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel and could not have asked for a better stay. Ein rundum toller Urlaub in einem erstklassigen Hotel. Super Frühstücksbuffet mit einer großen Auswahl an europäischen und orientalischen, kalten und warmen Speisen. Verschiedene Eierspeisen und Kaffeespezialitäten können à-la- carte bestellt werden. Am hoteleigenen Strand gab es immer reichlich Liegen, kostenlose Handtücher und sogar gekühltes Wasser.

Yet another excellent stay at this beautiful property. Friendly and helpful staff in particular would like to mention Ahmed at reception who was welcoming and helpful. The dining options are great. Beautiful grounds and views. We also really enjoyed the padel and gym facilities.

Outstanding hotel in a central location. Staff were amazing and the outdoor area is massive with the private beach. The pool was heated to 35c which was a bit extreme but to be honest very nice in December, and with a four year old. The jacuzzi must have been 45c, it was hot! The hotel is showing its age a bit (I think it's 50 years old) but is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The city centre mall is a 15 min walk away (probably a challenging walk in summer but easy in winter). The only negative in my opinion is the lack of sustainability initiatives. Towels were changed whether we wanted them changed or not. All toiletries are disposable miniatures. Bottled drinking water is abundant (they even hand out mini eskies by the pool with ice and bottled water in!) which is great but they must go through hundreds of bottles a day. It would be great if they could try harder in this area.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in absoluter top Lage mit Strand Zugang, weitläufiger wunderschöner Außenanlage, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal und sehr schöne Hotelzimmer (auch wenn es nicht mehr die modernste Ausstattung ist). Das Hotel verfügt über ein großes Fitnessstudio (im Nebenhaus), was viele Annehmlichkeiten bietet sowie andere Sportmöglichkeiten. Leider haben wir die Ramadan Zeit erlebt, weshalb wir die Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels nicht ausschöpfen konnten. Der Whirlpool vor dem Aussenpool ist absolut grandios

Friendly staff & walkable to the nearby mall (although get directions and perhaps approach from an anticlockwise direction via the road junction rather than through the adjacent park). Bel hôtel mais le service de nettoyage des chambres est tardif…rarement avant 15h, les prix de la restauration sont trop élevés et attention le mercredi soir le buffet du dîner est à 100€!! Le personnel est très gentil et attentionné. C’est un Sheraton de niveau intermédiaire vs les autres dans le monde.

The architecture is surprising and the interiors are very 90’s in a fine, classy way. Breakfast is great and the services are all perfect. In my opinion an absolute gem.

Excellent stay at the Sheraton! The hospitality and amenities were outstanding and we can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay extremely enjoyable in particular we appreciated the upgrade to a sea view which made this stay perfect in every sense. Im Großen und Ganzen super zufrieden. Tolles Hotel, tolle Lage, klasse Strand. Zimmer mit Meerblick überragend! Frühstücksbuffet und Abendessen (als Buffet) gehoben und sehr schmackhaft. Der Fahrservice zum Airport empfehlenswert. Negativ/nervig für mich war das Prozedere für Hotelgäste mit dem Zugang zum Pool und Beach. Am Morgen musste man sich „anmelden“ und ein Armband empfangen, zur sichtbaren Trennung zu den Gästen von Außerhalb. Da sollte es für ein 5Sterne-Hotel andere Möglichkeiten geben (jammern auf hohen Niveau) Ein weiterer negativer Punkt: es kam zu einer Doppelabbuchung bei einem Bezahlvorgang (knapp 100€); der Vorgang das Geld wieder zurückerstattet zu bekommen ist aufgrund fehlender Ansprechpartner und fehlender Rückmeldung durch das Hotel nicht gut.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and spacious. The bedroom was very spacious, we were given an upgrade to sea view on check in. All staff were very welcoming and attentive and went out of their way to greet us. The pool staff went out of their way every morning to greet USA’s soon as we arrived at the au beds. We stayed half board, breakfast and evening meal. There was an ample choice for both and they cater for all tastes. Soup and puddings were always very good. The only negative comment that I would make was that the evening meal was mainly lukewarm rather than hot. If there was a chef on duty serving pasta, pizza etc we tended to eat that as it was prepared on demand and was therefore hot. We are maybe being picky as we like our food hot and know it can be hard to keep buffet food warm, especially when other guests leave the lids covering the food up rather than closing them. On the whole a lovely relaxing holiday in a very peaceful and quiet hotel.

Friendly staff & walkable to the nearby mall (although get directions and perhaps approach from an anticlockwise direction via the road junction rather than through the adjacent park). Absolutely amazing. We arrived very early in the morning and not only did they have a room available we were upgraded to the most fantastic view of across the bay. The staff and the service they provide is like nothing we have received before. Room service was fantastic , the pool and beach bar service made you feel like a VIP , the valets were more than happy to organise taxi’s , everyone we came across made you feel so welcome. Fabulous room and every area of the Hotel had the same exacting standards. Food was exquisite whether it was the pool restaurant, beach service, the Indian or Irish Bar. No shortage of sun loungers at any time of the day either at the pool or the beach that benefitted from a very welcome breeze. Don’t hesitate to book .

Where do I start? The stay was amazing. The hotel was fantastic. We were staying for an anniversary and they went above and beyond to make our stay extremely enjoyable. They decorated the bed before check in with a lovely display of rose petals and swan towels, along with a welcome home message. Further to that they even provided us with a special anniversary cake which was a complete surprise. Shortly after checking in and going to the room we even received a welcome phone call from the receptionist Maegan to check in on us after viewing the room. This was a great touch and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast buffet was sublime. There were so many things to choose from, with many different styles and types of food. The breakfast staff were extremely friendly and constantly looking to provide any assistance, always willing to spend a little time getting to know you and make you comfortable. Can't fault the staff in the slightest. The hotel grounds were amazing. There was so much to do that we felt we didn't even get to experience all of it as our stay was so short. Although there were many people it never felt crowded. The pools and beach were all very clean. The pool staff were very friendly and always willing to lend a hand by fetching towels, or providing you with cold water. The food at the pool cafe was extremely good and it felt like it was very much worth the money. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

Yet another excellent stay at this beautiful property. Friendly and helpful staff in particular would like to mention Ahmed at reception who was welcoming and helpful. The dining options are great. Beautiful grounds and views. We also really enjoyed the padel and gym facilities.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever had the chance to stay in. Although established in 1979, everything in and around it seems brand new. Boasting a fantastic atrium, the hotel in itself is a true landmark of the city and indeed of the country. Besides being close to everything, it also has everything you need in itself - fabulous beach and pool, excellent restaurants, gym and sports fields, and all sorts of other services. For these, it serves as a destination for locals as well as hotel guests. The hotel is quiet, elegant and luxurious, the rooms and the views are breathtaking and the staff is the epitome of client service - I really want to mention Maegan from Reception who is by far one the best hotel staff I have ever met and also Melissa. They insured my check in and four-night stay went smoothly and they also let me check out at 5pm instead of 12, as my plane would take off late in the evening - thanks guys! I've taken full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet and it was some of the best food I've ever had. If you're ever in Doha, this is the place to go to - I loved it!

Dinner and breakfast buffet were good, but did not exceed expectations. The staff is very helpful and professional, you will feel very welcome. One of the best places to stay in Doha!

Outstanding hotel in a central location. Staff were amazing and the outdoor area is massive with the private beach. The pool was heated to 35c which was a bit extreme but to be honest very nice in December, and with a four year old. The jacuzzi must have been 45c, it was hot! The hotel is showing its age a bit (I think it's 50 years old) but is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The city centre mall is a 15 min walk away (probably a challenging walk in summer but easy in winter). The only negative in my opinion is the lack of sustainability initiatives. Towels were changed whether we wanted them changed or not. All toiletries are disposable miniatures. Bottled drinking water is abundant (they even hand out mini eskies by the pool with ice and bottled water in!) which is great but they must go through hundreds of bottles a day. It would be great if they could try harder in this area.

Outstandingly friendly personnel, very welcoming and clean hotel to relax and enjoy your holidays! Only negative points were the strong food smell on the balcony, the food in the sultan restaurant (nothing exceptional), the use of plastic bottles and the high price of the breakfast. But all the rest was great - many thanks!

Our second 4-day stay. As previously, friendly and professional - all members of staff. Our room had everything we required. Pool was 30C+ - perfect. Special mention to the seafood buffé which we loved.

Yet another excellent stay at this beautiful property. Friendly and helpful staff in particular would like to mention Ahmed at reception who was welcoming and helpful. The dining options are great. Beautiful grounds and views. We also really enjoyed the padel and gym facilities.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and spacious. The bedroom was very spacious, we were given an upgrade to sea view on check in. All staff were very welcoming and attentive and went out of their way to greet us. The pool staff went out of their way every morning to greet USA’s soon as we arrived at the au beds. We stayed half board, breakfast and evening meal. There was an ample choice for both and they cater for all tastes. Soup and puddings were always very good. The only negative comment that I would make was that the evening meal was mainly lukewarm rather than hot. If there was a chef on duty serving pasta, pizza etc we tended to eat that as it was prepared on demand and was therefore hot. We are maybe being picky as we like our food hot and know it can be hard to keep buffet food warm, especially when other guests leave the lids covering the food up rather than closing them. On the whole a lovely relaxing holiday in a very peaceful and quiet hotel.
