The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with elegant and comfortable furnishings that made us feel right at home. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all had a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were stocked with plush towels and high-quality toiletries. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. We particularly enjoyed the open-concept living area, where we spent our evenings relaxing and taking in the breathtaking ocean views. The board games were great. The private beach access was a true highlight of our stay. The secluded stretch of beach with its calm waves provided the perfect setting for our daily activities. Our children were thrilled with the variety of beach toys available, from the paddle board, kayaks, chairs, to the sandcastle building kits. One of the best beach rentals we've ever rented. From the personal message welcoming us on the parking spot sign, to all the amenities, our stay was excellent. Everything you need is provided: toiletries, coffee, tea, fully stocked kitchen, complimentary snacks, and everything, I mean EVERYTHING, you need for the beach! The owener greeted us when we got there, and were quick and attentive to all our questions. Very clean and modern. Only con was we could hear every time the guests walked above us. Otherwise, we definitely recommend the Dolphin Suite!

Tons of space, modern furnishings, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need, including coffee! beautiful views, lovely walks on an empty beach in 75 degrees weather in April. What’s not to love? Rick was super responsive to our couple of questions. Our pup enjoyed the condo too! Walk down the beach to the pier and enjoy a drink on the roof deck! Don’t expect fast service tho.

Very nice property. Our only suggestions would be having a small kitchen vacuum available to clean all the sand. Property was very clean and decorated very nicely. Owners are always available and respond promptly with any questions. We all enjoyed our time on the beach and loved that it was just us on the beach most of the time . Would definitely go back again!

My family stayed at Big Blue for the weekend and it was fabulous! The listing is accurate—the home is clean (spotless!), spacious, comfortable, and steps from the water (with great views from inside). Games (for indoors and outdoors) are provided along with plenty of beach gear. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We were also thrilled to be able to bring our dog—it was wonderful to have quality, pet-friendly accommodations! The whole process for the trip was seamless and we look forward to visiting again—hopefully soon!

Stayed for a long weekend for a family birthday get together. Communication with the hosts was flawless, always answered the messages via the app. The house was easy to get to in a nice neighborhood. The area was safe and quiet. The house was ready when we arrived and it was spotless. Everything was clean and in order. The kitchen is fully stocked and we found complimentary snacks and drinks waiting for us. The beach is just a few steps away and it was nice to take the dog for a walk along the water. The house is in a nice location, about 15 minutes to downtown Norfolk and a quick 30 minutes to Virginia Beach. Many things to do around the area. Private parking on the property was convenient. The property is spacious with three large bedrooms, plenty of beds, comfortable seating in the living room, fireplace and a view of the water. The TVs were good size and fully functional, HVAC kept the temperature comfortable. It was a truly enjoyable stay without a single complaint. We will definitely return to the Dolphin suite when we return to Norfolk.

The property owners are actually the neighbors of this property. They were very accommodating when we arrived ahead of schedule and made sure we had a place to sit out of the heat until our rental was ready. Messages were responded to within minutes. The house was modern and very clean! Probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever had. The street was very safe and perfect for families with children. All the basic necessities were provided. I cannot overstate how perfect the location and the property was. This side of the ocean had calm waters, again perfect for small children and kayaks, which we used extensively.

The absolute best VRBO we have ever stayed! The house was stocked with anything we might have needed from laundry pods to phone chargers, towels, shampoo and conditioner, even coffee and creamer in the fully equipped kitchen! The beach view and easy access were amazing. The house was immaculate and has a very calm, relaxing feeling. I can’t say enough good things. We ran into some rainy weather and the host notified us while we were out to stay safe! 1000% would recommend! Our special request to meet the most handsome 4 legged host was the high-light of our trip. Such considerate hosts for our Showgirl is a Wife Weekend!

The house was just as described and very large. It had all the comforts of home and very comfy beds. Being right on the beach was great and having beach supplies onsite made packing much easier. The home was very clean and loved that there was coffee and snacks. The owners were great to work with and got back to me very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful beach house with a great view. We travel quarterly and love to stay in new places and rarely find one right on the beach, this was literally steps from the private gorgeous beach. We had a wonderful week with our family. We had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful beach house with a great view. We travel quarterly and love to stay in new places and rarely find one right on the beach, this was literally steps from the private gorgeous beach. We had a wonderful week with our family. Would highly recommend! It was also nice to meet the owner. 😀

The condo was really nice and clean and had so many extra touches by the owners. They literally thought of everything! They were also very accommodating allowing us to check in a little early which was great since we had our dog. The second floor where we were had a slightly obstructed view which you can see in the pics if you look closely but it didn’t bother us since you can look to either side unobstructed. I didn’t realize there was a top floor to rent as well even though it clearly says that in the description the mermaid suite probably has a little better view. The only thing I was wishing was an outdoor deck or patio to sit on to enjoy coffee in the mornings but you can easily go down and access the beach to do that. We did have a family with kids check in to the suite above us our last night and you could hear them running around But it was just here and there and couldn’t be helped. Just mentioning it for awareness for others. Overall it was a great stay and the place was very Very nice. Thank you,

Stayed for a long weekend for a family birthday get together. Communication with the hosts was flawless, always answered the messages via the app. The house was easy to get to in a nice neighborhood. The area was safe and quiet. The house was ready when we arrived and it was spotless. Everything was clean and in order. The kitchen is fully stocked and we found complimentary snacks and drinks waiting for us. The beach is just a few steps away and it was nice to take the dog for a walk along the water. The house is in a nice location, about 15 minutes to downtown Norfolk and a quick 30 minutes to Virginia Beach. Many things to do around the area. Private parking on the property was convenient. The property is spacious with three large bedrooms, plenty of beds, comfortable seating in the living room, fireplace and a view of the water. The TVs were good size and fully functional, HVAC kept the temperature comfortable. It was a truly enjoyable stay without a single complaint. Big Blue is a well designed modern unit with a large kitchen and and open feel. The furniture is of good quality and the overall feel is welcoming. The location serves as a great base of attractions in Williamsburg, Norfolk and VA beach. Watching the ships cross the bay from the dinning room table was a nice treat.

One of the best beach rentals we've ever rented. From the personal message welcoming us on the parking spot sign, to all the amenities, our stay was excellent. Everything you need is provided: toiletries, coffee, tea, fully stocked kitchen, complimentary snacks, and everything, I mean EVERYTHING, you need for the beach! The owener greeted us when we got there, and were quick and attentive to all our questions. Very clean and modern. Only con was we could hear every time the guests walked above us. Otherwise, we definitely recommend the Dolphin Suite!

My family and I had a great stay. The house was comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the beach was very nice and convenient. We enjoyed all the beach equipment and the gym area. The hosts were very accommodating and communitive with our changing plans.

The property owners are actually the neighbors of this property. They were very accommodating when we arrived ahead of schedule and made sure we had a place to sit out of the heat until our rental was ready. Messages were responded to within minutes. The house was modern and very clean! Probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever had. The street was very safe and perfect for families with children. All the basic necessities were provided. I cannot overstate how perfect the location and the property was. This side of the ocean had calm waters, again perfect for small children and kayaks, which we used extensively.

The house was just as described and very large. It had all the comforts of home and very comfy beds. Being right on the beach was great and having beach supplies onsite made packing much easier. The home was very clean and loved that there was coffee and snacks. The owners were great to work with and got back to me very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

The absolute best VRBO we have ever stayed! The house was stocked with anything we might have needed from laundry pods to phone chargers, towels, shampoo and conditioner, even coffee and creamer in the fully equipped kitchen! The beach view and easy access were amazing. The house was immaculate and has a very calm, relaxing feeling. I can’t say enough good things. We ran into some rainy weather and the host notified us while we were out to stay safe! 1000% would recommend! Our special request to meet the most handsome 4 legged host was the high-light of our trip. Such considerate hosts for our Showgirl is a Wife Weekend!

What’s not to love? Rick was super responsive to our couple of questions. Our pup enjoyed the condo too! Walk down the beach to the pier and enjoy a drink on the roof deck! Don’t expect fast service tho.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the Dolphin suite at the Beachfront Getaway! The condo is very spacious, equipped with all the basics, and convenient location for lots of sightseeing!! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Suite. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved having access to all of the beach equipment and kayaks! It was super easy to just step out onto what is basically your private beach with only a handful of people ever in your line of sight. We were there with our two boys, 16 and 21, who especially enjoyed the kayaking and fishing. The icing on the cake was wishing Balou a happy 8th birthday! We would definitely come back to stay at this property in the future.

Check in was easy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to make meals. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Laundry detergent and washer/dryer are always helpful as I like to do laundry before returning home. Being right on the beach is always non-negotiable here when we visit so that was great. Only thing I missed is having a deck to overlook the ocean and the beds were nice but a tad too firm for me. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive which was very appreciated. Overall great stay. Plenty of beach toys, chairs, kayaks and paddle boards, boogie boards. Really nothing left to say but overall it was worth it!

the gym facility was nice for myself and my children- Amy and I loved the mattress we have already discussed the problem on the third floor- I would expect a quiet night's sleep-not received- recommend some sort of screening or check in procedure to ALL guests to ensure residents are applying to the rules

The house was great and had everything we needed!! I was expecting a bit more of a view from the house but other than that the house was wonderful. The location of the chairs and firepit is in the front next to the parking lot which was not expected rather than in the back.House was clean, hosts were great and friendly!
