We booked through Expedia and the staff could not locate my reservation even though I had a booking number and showed them (my other friend booked through Expedia also, but hers was able to be found). The nice young lady at reception gave us a wonderful room and was very helpful. I wish we stayed more than one night, the room was beautiful and comfortable. The bus/tram station was a 2 minute walk across the street. We utilized their luggage space, which was convenient but I did not like that they just allowed us to put our own luggage in there and it wasn't locked, so anyone could go in an claim someone else's luggage.

Wonderful Hotel within quick transit by bus or Strassenbahn to anywhere in the city. We used their parking garage across the street from the hotel. Safe, secure and convenient as it can get in busy Heidelberg. The room is nice and comfortable. We had a street side facing room so the noise was slightly elevated. The building is aged but well maintained. Price was great for our stay. Nice restaurant next door for Doners, Gyros and other Mediterranean delights.

Da der Fahrstuhl „defekt“ war und es keine Information vorher gab, waren wir sehr enttäuscht darüber. Am Anfang konnten wir wenigstens das Gepäck im Fahrstuhl stellen, dann aber wurde der Fahrstuhl komplett abgeschaltet. Aber mit einer leichten Behinderung 4 Etagen mit Gepäck ist schon eine Herausforderung.

Da der Fahrstuhl „defekt“ war und es keine Information vorher gab, waren wir sehr enttäuscht darüber. Am Anfang konnten wir wenigstens das Gepäck im Fahrstuhl stellen, dann aber wurde der Fahrstuhl komplett abgeschaltet. Aber mit einer leichten Behinderung 4 Etagen mit Gepäck ist schon eine Herausforderung.

Situated at the end of the pedestrian zone - very convenient and walkable. The staff was friendly and helpful, parking was also fairly close by. The room was large, modern, clean and quiet. We enjoyed our time in Heidelberg and would certainly stay here again!

Wenn ich mehr als 130 Euro pro Nacht füt eine Unterkunft bezahle, erwarte ich auch täglichen Roomservice. Amk ertsen Tag wurden die Handtücher nicvht gewechselt, am zweiten Tag informierte uns der Empfang, dass "heute kein Roomservice stattfinden wird und wenn wir etwas brauchen, sollten wir es sofort sagen." Das hieß: Handtücher selbst aufs Zimmer tragen und die übrigen (von den Vortagen) einfach liegen lassen. Wie gesagt: für mehr als 130 Euro pro Nacht, erwarte ich einfach mehr Service. Wir werden jedenfalls nicht mehr in dieses Hotel zurückkehren.

Smutsit väldigt t.o.m under sängen när vi kom och ens facen efter vi varit ute då de bara bäddade lika smutsigt under sängen. Under all kritik. Annars ett fint hotell och ligger bra till, centralt alltså.

Lage des Hotels, sehr gut! Grosses Zimmer. Der Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer wurde erfüllt. Leider wurde das Zimmer während unseres 4 tägigen Aufentalts nie gereinigt, keine Betten gemacht und auch die Mülleimer im Zimmer und Bad NIE geleert!

Great location in Heidelberg, one easy tram or bus ride from the train station, and major transportation hub. There is an elevator for your luggage. Easy walk down a boulevard full of shops and restaurants to get to Old Town, and not much farther for the Castle. The room is large and I enjoyed the matching modern wood furniture, sofa, and sizeable bathroom. Curtains did a reasonable job keeping out light in the morning. Our only complaint was the noise from the street. Because the square is a major transportation hub, there is significant car, mass transportation, and people noise into the night. If we had known this ahead of time, I would have inquired if there were rooms available with windows away from the street.

Zimmer, Bad und Betten waren sehr gut, jedoch lag das Zimmer zur Straße hin und dadurch sehr laut. Da es in dem Zimmer keine Klima sondern nur ein Ventilator gab der sehr laut war und durch die Hauptstraße man nicht wirklich ein Fenster öffnen konnte, war die Nacht bei einer Tagestemperatur von 30 Grad sehr stickig und ungemütlich. Gut schlafen ist was anderes

It was great location in Heidelberg. Near the hotel, there were lots of market and restaurant. To go to castle, it was enough to go there by walk. Also, breakfast was wonderful. Looks very simple but great. Bathroom was wide and room was enough for 3adults. Overall, very great!

Great hotel to stay as it is walking distance to the sights, shopping, and has lots of restaurants to choose from around the immediate area. The city train is literally in front of the hotel. The only thing is at night during the summer season it gets warm, the hotel has no A/C or it doesn’t get cold, and opening the window will get you relief from the cool night air… but it comes with the noise from the train or people around the area. But overall, it is a great hotel when visiting Heidelberg, Germany as it is in the middle of everything.

You actually do check in at a front desk. The afternoon staff was a bit rude and hard to understand. My friend asked for an extra pillow and he replied, "Is this your first time in Germany?" My friend said "No, i just want a second pillow." She never got it. The rooms are teeny tiny. My room smelled muaty and the window did not seal shut, so the outside noise came right in. I think it could be an okay hotel, if the front desk would have been more courteous.

Das Hotel liegt zentral unweit der großen Einkaufsstraße. Es gibt keine 24/7 Rezeption. Wir hatten das Auto in der Tiefgarage (19 Euro) und kamen morgens, da niemand an der Rezeption war um uns den Schlüssel zur Tiefgarage zu geben, nicht pünktlich weg. Das war sehr ärgerlich. Der Roomservice klopfte um 9:30 Uhr mehrfach an der Tür, obwohl er wusste, dass check-out um 10.30 Uhr ist. Zimmer zur Hauptstraße sehr laut durch ständig fahrende Straßenbahnen. Die Betten sind bequem.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Heidelberg, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. When I returned to my room after a day out, I found it clean, but there were no towels or shampoo provided. I tried contacting the reception for assistance, but no one answered. I even went to the reception desk in person, only to find it unattended, with just a phone number to call. When I called the number, the person I spoke to assured me that someone would bring the towels and other essentials. After waiting for more than half an hour, no one arrived. I tried calling again, but this time, there was no response at all. This level of service is unacceptable for any hotel. It’s frustrating to not have basic amenities like towels and shampoo, and even more so to be ignored when trying to resolve the issue. I expected much better, especially considering the cost of the stay. I won’t be returning and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and responsive service.

I even went to the reception desk in person, only to find it unattended, with just a phone number to call. When I called the number, the person I spoke to assured me that someone would bring the towels and other essentials. After waiting for more than half an hour, no one arrived. I tried calling again, but this time, there was no response at all. This level of service is unacceptable for any hotel. It’s frustrating to not have basic amenities like towels and shampoo, and even more so to be ignored when trying to resolve the issue. I expected much better, especially considering the cost of the stay. I won’t be returning and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and responsive service.

This hotel is fabulous. I never rate things as 5/5 until now. The location is perfect - tram across the street and old town and restaurants are both within walking distance. Breakfast had many choices, everything was fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful (thanks Berat for helping when I locked the safe and with Netflix)!!

Great location in Heidelberg, one easy tram or bus ride from the train station, and major transportation hub. There is an elevator for your luggage. Easy walk down a boulevard full of shops and restaurants to get to Old Town, and not much farther for the Castle. The room is large and I enjoyed the matching modern wood furniture, sofa, and sizeable bathroom. Curtains did a reasonable job keeping out light in the morning. Our only complaint was the noise from the street. Because the square is a major transportation hub, there is significant car, mass transportation, and people noise into the night. If we had known this ahead of time, I would have inquired if there were rooms available with windows away from the street.

The hotel itself I can’t fault the rooms are very spacious the staff are very sweet and helpful. However the hotel is just outside the tram station which is extremely convenient but means it’s very loud and as the hotel has no air con it’s lots a bit of a problem. The area again so very easy to get to places as it’s so central but be wary of some of the people as I was followed in town to the hotel.

Situated at the end of the pedestrian zone - very convenient and walkable. The staff was friendly and helpful, parking was also fairly close by. The room was large, modern, clean and quiet. We enjoyed our time in Heidelberg and would certainly stay here again!

Location is great, rooms are good and clean. There is a very strange check in process - there is noone in the lobby, door is closed and you need to figure out how to check in using ATM machine... Breakfast is not good - variety of dishes is very limited, I recommend to have meals across the street in the shopping center - top floor - there is a good food court there.

Alles in Allem ein sehr gutes Hotel, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen auch gerne wieder. Einziger "Knackpunkt" = Die Frühstücksräumlichkeiten im "Keller" sind nicht schön und leider hat sich dieser Eindruck im Frühstück selbst niedergeschlagen. Mittelmäßiger Automatenkaffee, oft waren keine Teller da, oft waren Speisen- u. Getränkeauslagen leer und wurden nicht rechtzeitig wieder aufgefüllt. Nur aus diesem Grund ist die Gesamtbewertung mittelmäßig.

Alles in Allem ein sehr gutes Hotel, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen auch gerne wieder. Ubicazione ottima centrale vicina all'area pedonale, peccato per il rumore del tram. Non tutte le camere sono spaziose allo stesso modo. Buona la pulizia. Viene prosta come optional una buona colazione ma a mio giudizio assai costosa.

The hotel was nice and in a great location. There was no air conditioning, but the large windows in our corner room provided great ventilation. The shower had great water pressure. We loved the location, with trams nearby and downtown within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helped carry our bags upstairs when the elevator was broken. We really enjoyed our stay in Heidelberg, which was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Although located conveniently next to the trams and walking distance to Altstadt, I cannot say this was a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately we stayed during very warm weather. The room had no AC, and honestly no circulation of air whatsoever. It was always as warm as it was outside – if not warmer –, which made the hotel room no place we would happily return to for rest after a day out in town. We asked the staff twice to change room to one with an AC, but without any luck. Instead, we were friendly advised to go swimming somewhere. Apart from the room being unbearable to be in, there were some other flaws. No kettle, mini fridge, or locker. The couch had a broken leg, one of the towels had multiple stains, the shower cabin leaked water onto the floor and the shower fixtures were loose. Also loose tiles on the floor and loose toilet seat, plus two non-functioning bathroom lamps. Luckily there was a fan, without which we wouldn’t have been able to stay at all. For the price we payed we weren’t at all satisfied and won’t come back another time.
