Had a wonderful trip. Amazing stuff, great accommodation with views and wonderful pool. Booked through hotels.com as the garden room I wanted “was not available for a family of 3” on the hotels website but it has ample space and definitely no issue. The welcome cupcakes and pastries were absolute deliciousness. The fruit basket was a great idea. However the plum had rot on it so maybe a pre check on checking in? I look forward to our return visit

I rarely write reviews but this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The views, dining options and pool are lovely. There is space to walk after dinner which is such a treat in Joburg. But most of all the staff was just fabulous. We had 2 separate 1 night stays in our lay over days in Joburg and the hotel kindly agreed to keep a bag for us so we don't have to take it on our ongoing journey. On arrival, they checked us in at 9 am and a lovely complimentary breakfast was waiting for us in the room ( I suspect this is based on availability but it was so much appreciated after 10 hour overnight flight). Once we returned for the second night stay we had our bag waiting for us already and exactly the same room with staff even remembering my husband's breakfast order. We have stayed in many places in Joburg but I would struggle to find any that come close to such excellent service.

Charming hotel set on a cliffside. A real oasis in Johannesburg. Staff were wonderful. Rooms are very comfortable but a bit dated. Spa, gym and pool facilities are great. Have breakfast early in the morning. Beautiful view, and wonderful light.

From the minute we arrived we knew this hotel was spectacular. The staff could not have been nicer. They went above and beyond for us, even providing spring water because mineral water was too harsh for us. Our room was beautiful. The cleanliness was top notch. The wait staff, especially Anesu, who also recommended great shopping, and Thembi. We will definitely return

I only stayed here for two nights in transit, but the location was phenomenal. It lay tucked away on the top of a mountain with splendid views of Jozi. The property is clean and well maintained at all times. It also was a safe locale in Johannesburg. The service is exceptional with the staff being friendly and ready to meet your need at all times. What stood out to me the most was the food! Every item, every meal I tried from the restaurant to room service was exceptional with taste and satisfaction.

It's been ten years since we last stayed at The Westcliff, it is such a beautiful hotel with great service. Our suite was roomy and well-kept. Valentine's Dinner was a disappointment as service was extremely slow but overall we enjoyed our stay.

O Hotel possui um serviço via WhatsApp durante a hospedagem que funciona muito bem. Lovely staff. Nice big room. Great breakfasts. Obviously more expensive than other properties but very secure and nicely located to get to nearby areas. Flames is a nice restaurant although I did eat better elsewhere.

Another excellent stay at the Four Seasons. I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Jo'Burg. The staff could not have done more, and it was a really friendly environment to stay. The room was large, with a lovely balcony. The bed was arguably one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The shower and bathroom was spacious too.

One of the best Hotels in Johannesburg. Staff were extremely helpful and very courteous. Food was very good and breakfast was amazing. Views of the city from the hotel are amazing. Definitely recommend.

Amazing hotel with amazing staff. Upon arrival until I left, they were so accommodating and made my birthday vacation stay a wonderful and memorable one.

Amazing hotel with amazing staff. Upon arrival until I left, they were so accommodating and made my birthday vacation stay a wonderful and memorable one.

Definitely lives up to the Four Seasons reputation but with South African flair. Super friendly and helpful staff and you get a feeling of peace and quiet with its unusual layout. Fully recommend

Very good hotel. We arrived for one night only as our BA flight landed 4 hours late and we missed the connection. All was good apart from F&B which took well over an hour to deliver a light lunch, strange as we were almost the only people eating. Management response however was strong and caring so one have to assume that the chef got stuck in the cold store. That blip aside it’s a goodun

Lovely staff. Nice big room. Great breakfasts. Obviously more expensive than other properties but very secure and nicely located to get to nearby areas. Flames is a nice restaurant although I did eat better elsewhere.

I only stayed here for two nights in transit, but the location was phenomenal. It lay tucked away on the top of a mountain with splendid views of Jozi. The property is clean and well maintained at all times. It also was a safe locale in Johannesburg. The service is exceptional with the staff being friendly and ready to meet your need at all times. What stood out to me the most was the food! Every item, every meal I tried from the restaurant to room service was exceptional with taste and satisfaction.

I rarely write reviews but this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The views, dining options and pool are lovely. There is space to walk after dinner which is such a treat in Joburg. But most of all the staff was just fabulous. We had 2 separate 1 night stays in our lay over days in Joburg and the hotel kindly agreed to keep a bag for us so we don't have to take it on our ongoing journey. On arrival, they checked us in at 9 am and a lovely complimentary breakfast was waiting for us in the room ( I suspect this is based on availability but it was so much appreciated after 10 hour overnight flight). Once we returned for the second night stay we had our bag waiting for us already and exactly the same room with staff even remembering my husband's breakfast order. We have stayed in many places in Joburg but I would struggle to find any that come close to such excellent service.

Charming hotel set on a cliffside. A real oasis in Johannesburg. Staff were wonderful. Rooms are very comfortable but a bit dated. Spa, gym and pool facilities are great. Have breakfast early in the morning. Beautiful view, and wonderful light.

This was an extraordinary experience in Johannesburg! From the moment we checked in! The staff could not have been more wonderful, accommodating, and professional. Can't wait to go back to this absolutely magnificent location and enjoy that fabulous breakfast again soon!

It's been ten years since we last stayed at The Westcliff, it is such a beautiful hotel with great service. Our suite was roomy and well-kept. Valentine's Dinner was a disappointment as service was extremely slow but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Quarto amplo e espaçoso, muito bem equipado, bastante confortável. Carpetes, mobília e acessórios bem preservados. Serviços de quarto e limpeza eficientes e bem executados. Staff bastante atento às necessidades dos hóspedes. Sempre corteses e prestativos. Especial menção aos serviços de Concierge. O Hotel possui um serviço via WhatsApp durante a hospedagem que funciona muito bem. Praticamente todos os serviços podem ser acessados e solicitados através do App. Ótimo e completo café da manhã e menu bastante satisfatório para o almoço e para o jantar. Sem dúvida recomendo o Four Season Westcliff em Joanesburgo

The Four Seasons Westcliff was our first stop upon arriving in South Africa, where we met up with family and friends who reside in Johannesburg. We were warmly greeted at check-in by Precious the process was very smooth. Very much appreciated after flying for over 30 hours from California. Our room was very well appointed with welcome treats provided. We ate all our meals over the course of two days here, and were looked after very well by Atli and Sethi at breakfast, and Zizi at Flame restaurant. Check-out was handled quickly by Silas and we were on our way. It was a very comfortable stay, getting over our jet lag and a great space for friends and family to come gather and eat and drink.

I am extremely disappointed and honestly shocked by my stay at this Four Seasons hotel. I am used to staying in this group all over the world and this property is absolutely not in line with their usual standards. From the moment I arrived, the experience was frustrating and completely unacceptable. The room was not properly cleaned, with a clear lack of care and attention. Even worse, there were serious security issues. The door locking system was faulty and unreliable, something I personally showed several times to the cleaning staff and also to a manager, yet nothing was properly fixed. On top of that, I experienced a shocking aggression from a security guard who behaved aggressively towards me even though I was a resident guest. This level of behavior is completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. It is also obvious that not all clients are treated the same way in this hotel, which is extremely disappointing. They tried to compensate by offering a massage, and I must say the spa was the only professional part of this hotel, but this does not make up for everything else. The restaurant staff made me feel very unwelcome, to the point that I avoided eating there and relied on room service. Unfortunately, room service was also poor, with incomplete orders and meat not cooked as requested. This hotel feels like a cheap version of the Four Seasons brand. I do not recommend it to anyone.
